((Basic stipulations, we're going to have a time limit of two weeks for the fairness of slow posters etc.. At the end of that time, we will need an independent judge...
We're going to limit this as one character per person for the time being. This doesn't include npc's.. However, should you choose to interact with any of ours, they will be role-played fully.
If you have any issues with this Felbeasts, please PM me, and I will duly edit anything that is unfair or unsatisfactory. Otherwise, have at you!!))
For the past few days, a severe blizzard, coupled with a freak thunderstorm had kept the Guardians inside of their citadel, unable to venture outside of it. This was no matter, as, for the time being, they had self-sufficient supplies, such as fruit and vegetable gardens, herb patches, and a very large supply of meat and fish which they'd caught, and ordered in bulk. Many of the Guardians had been in a foul mood especially that using their vehicles to get out of the Citadel may have been a slight danger to themselves.
Finally though, they had caught a lucky break, the winds had shifted, and the weather was beginning to settle down, until their shield were hit by a freak bolt of electric lightening that somehow fused with and overworked their generators. The shields shut down, causing mass panic. Such a weakness in the building would surely cause nothing but problems for them.
Under Mr. Hyameo's orders, repairs were being made, investigations had begun, and extra detail on defence had been ordered. Keeping watch from one of the security rooms was a newcomer to the Guardians, but one who had already proven himself capable of fighting and leading a team. There were unsettling disturbances that the equipment still couldn't quite monitor, X-Static had begun to signal alerts to all of the available Guardians.
Going outside however, would include the risk of falling inside of large drifts, or weak piles of snow that were in fact several feet deep. It would be safer for those that can fly, or spread their weight out easily to go outside and investigate. Fortunately, X-Static was one of those people. Leaving the security room in the capable hands of someone below him, he makes his way to the small entrance to the Citadel, and opens the door with a bit of a heave... _________________ Books are source of knowledge,knowledge source of power,power is source of corruption,corruption is crime.Reading books will get you imprisoned!

Zerrer stood back as his magi kept up the snowstorm and thunderstorm that he borrowed from a mountain east of here.
he then started divvying up his army into groups.
Alakin1 and 15 ghostlike creatures "Shades" were put into a Group called "Blood".
Trot84 and 25 large doglike-humanoids "Gnolls" were put into the Group "Destruction".
Nasari and 50 demons "Felbeasts" were put into a group called "Doom". this group is the largest by far, and has the most demons.
Then, Zerrer selected 3 felguards and called it "Death"
He called all 3 oblivion knights to him for a palaver
"As oblivion knights, you are commanders. so command your groups and if one of you perish, then the others absorb the group that the dead one was in command of."
he looked to Alakin1 "Remember, The shades can travel through walls if they can concentrate, but they are weaker right after they do."
to Trot84: "The gnolls are good with snow, and snow can block arrows much easier than one might have thought."
To Nasari: "Use formations for large amounts of demons. and also, Bear form would help now."
Then, he stood in full view of the citadel and looked it over. the next word he said was whispered and so quiet that only the oblivion knights were sure of what was said.
Attack"
He then flew over the citadel, and faded from sight. _________________ http://zerrer.deviantart.com/

((It's not Alakin1, Zerrer, it's Mantynor. ))
Mantynor sighed deeply,
"Die? Talk about reassuring...needs to learn how to give an encouraging pep-talk." he looked across the landscape, trying to spy out any site that could give them an advantage. There was a large bank of snow that had piled up to form some kind of wall. Perfect. It would provide some form of cover and hide them while he came up with a strategy. He turned to the Shades, who loosely stood in ranks, the thick, black smoke they seemed to be composed billowing in the snowstorm, he designated the snow-wall to them, "See that pile of snow, that looks like a wall?" the Shades said nothing, though their smoke-flesh seemed to billow less, as though they were more attentive, Mantynor took this as a 'yes', "Well don't just stand...or float, or whatever there, get there. And don't let any Guardians see you.". The Shades finally gave some sign of life, or rather un-life. Each one nodded, and seemed to grow. They were thinning themselves. You could now see the snow through them, but not very well. Camouflage. If they were lucky the Guardians would mistake them for shadows. Which was basically what they were, living shadows. The Shades moved apart, leaving gaps of about 10 feet between each of them, so that the translucent black wouldn't grow stronger by someone seeing the Shade through another Shade, making a darker, more opaque, black. Silently, the ghostly creatures glided across the snow, shadows on the white carpet that was the floor.
Mantynor, seeing that the Shades had understood his command, took out his Corrupted Glass Longsword of the Doom. The snow bank was too far for a simple Rip, but he could get halfway. Brandishing the longsword he brought it infront of his eyes, to inspect it. There wasn't a scratch on it, the flames inside it burnt faintly, naturally. There was no portal to Zxiantarn nearby and no Agent, excepting him, either. He swung the longsword in a straigth line in front of him, concentrating his mind on a Rip to the closest possible near the snow wall. A shimmering, multi coloured cut appeared, floating in mid air, inside it was a miasma of colours that constantly shifted, Mantynor stepped into it. He landed on a pile of snow. The pile of snow gave way, revealing it to be a hole several feet deep. Mantynor swore, he climbed out the hole and brushed all the snow of him. He looked around and saw the snow bank, not 20 feet away. He resisted the temptation to simply summon another Rip to get there, it would just be a waste of energy, and began moving towards it, keeping low. _________________

They had practiced similar security drills several times, but the defense Penguins still had some trouble with it. Today they were a bit slow in getting to their places. Even with weapons, it is hard to take penguins seriously as a defense force; they just look tooooo "cute". Still Whiteoak had found that it was a mistake to underestimate their military proficiency.
As he headed for the front gate with the bug box in his hand, the four foot tall woodnorn mentally called up his full range of defensive shields. As he passed the Information Desk he met up with the Penguin Security Force. Together, they proceeded through the first set of doors into the Gatehouse. Part of the penguin contingent took up places and secured them, Whiteoak and the rest of the penguins got to the outer door just as X-Static heaved it open. Whiteoak opened the box, flipped a switch activating the remote sensor "bugs", panel lights lit up and sensors started calibrating. With the flick of a second switch the six "bugs" took flight and flew out of the opening, sending back data to the central security computer.
"Hold on, my blue friend," Whiteoak said to X-Static, "give me a second to check out the lay of the land and then you can move out."
Whiteoak extended his mental fields sensing empathically for any mental or spiritual presences in the area. He was expecting to find the usual pack of angry hungry Polar Bears who prowled the arctic in search of penguins (having caught one early in the Guardians' stay and wanting more ever since.) They liked to take advantage of the occasional power failure to mount attacks. He was surprised, however at what he sensed.
"Heads up X-Static, something’s wrong, I sense aggression, deception, darkness, and just a touch of indigestion. I can't pinpoint a location; it seems to be coming from about everywhere."
From where he was standing, still just inside of the partial door opening, he could extend a “Full Protection and Integrated Response Mental Field†about ten feet out of the door.
(That’s a reflexive mental/spiritual sensing defensive field.)
“OK, my friend, move out when ready.†_________________ Nobody knows where you are, how near or how far.

((Sorry it took so long for me to post... took a while for me to come up with a decent intro post... at least for me... >>; ))
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Wearing only a light lavender tank top and a pair of comfy, stretchy yoga pants, Nynaeve had been sitting on her window seat (you know those built in seats that are in the nooks of window in old houses... yeah... anyways) while reading her book. Her striking emerald eyes occasionally lifted up from the pages to glance at the snowy scenery, and t'was only then that she noticed the commotion outside.
She frowned and mindlessly bent the top corner of the page she was on before setting the book down beside her. Now having the penguins practice their security drill was not an uncommon occurance. Having both X-Static and Whiteoak out there with the peering out open doors was.
The whole scene piqued her interest, and she decided that she would see what was going on for herself. Obviously her attire right now would not be suitable for the weather. Rumaging through her wardrobe, she found a pair of warm pants, a comfy hand-knit sweater, and a jacket to go over top. The articles of clothing would allow her to move easily while provide warmth at the same time. Perfect.
Not bothering to waste any time, she changed quickly and brushed her auburn hair back into a quick ponytail.
Eve certainly didn't think that they would be necessary, but as a measure of precaution, she tucked her two Akki Uchiwa's into her sleeves. Taking a quick look in the mirror to see that they were well hidden, she smirked slighly at the thought of how it would be a rather nice surprise if they had any trouble.
Satisfied, she left her room, but not without closing the door behind her, and proceeded to go down stairs. Making the familiar turns, she left the building and walked until she was behind the two observers.
"Is something the matter...?" she asked as she tried to see what they were looking at. _________________ We make a living by what we get, we make a life by what we give.
A blip in the distance from the direction the Felbeasts had arrived from, appeared on the horizon, and was speeding quickly towards the scene of the Guardian's base.
"Hurry Scrubbers, we want there to be something left for us!" Sneered the possessed puppet as he and his trusty rat steed neared the area. Another 500 yards, and The Citadel was noticeable against the frozen, arctic sky, jutting upwards as though it were trying to compensate for something that The Guardians severely lacked, or so Addman amused himself by thinking.
It became apparent that Scrubbers was becoming more and more weary, almost to the point of collapse as the rat stumbled in a particulary deep patch of snow. Buckling, Scrubbers lost his footing and flopped face first into the freezing wastes, sending the muppet flying headfirst. Addman hit the ground and rolled, sending plumes of white powder scattering around his immediate position, but he soon regained control of his cascading self, and sat upright on one knee. Waving his pet away (since he could see it had had enough exertion for one day), Scrubbers wearily trudged back the direction they had just come from.
Addman knelt for a moment, and opened his contract. The parchment from Zerrer said this was to be the point of attack, yet he could not see a single Felbeast member within the immediate area. He'd struggled to arrive on time, and it seemed that the Felbeasts had failed to even show up!
Almost ready to start cursing, and track down the Felbeast Catacombs for this indescretion, Addman suddenly noticed what appeared to be a large moving shadow, which was quite a distance away from his position. The swirling darkness was massing behind a particulary large snow ridge, and struck the puppet as an unusual event to see in the middle of an arctic tundra. Deciding to investigate, he began to make his way over to the shadow, hoping that it was something to do with the Felbeasts.
((Zerrer has hired me for the purpose of this fight, so for this thread, I am a Felbeast. This is shaping up to be a good match, and I'm glad I can be a part of it)) _________________ I like big cookies and I cannot lie,
Mantynor surveyed the field ahead as the last of the Shades glided in behind the snow ridge. There didn't seem to be anyone around, but then again, his eyesight had never been that good. He turned around to speak to the Shades, but he stopped before he could start. There was a...puppet coming towards them. The Shades noticed too, the dark wisps of smoke that were their hands rose and small spheres, composed of some even darker smoke appeared.
~Projectiles no doubt.~ thought Mantynor, he unsheathed his CGLD and held it out, ready to attack the strange visitor should it show itself hostile. _________________
KC11 came running towards the war, in the form of a rat.
"Oh, I hope I'm not too late." she muttered to herself.
She sniffed the air and looked about. She could smell another rat, and smelled Addman somewhere near the said rat. She could smell someone named alakin1. Although she didn't know that person personally, she knew it was another Felbeast. She could also sniff out Zerrer, although where he was, she could not tell.
She bit her rat lip and stood upright, looking across the field. She looked about carefully, then she quickly went back down again, hoping she hadn't been seen.
It wasn't time for her attack yet. There weren't enough Guardians in one place. She had plenty of time to think. _________________ Because when you kill a guy by chopping his head off, rolling him up in a carpet, and burning it...you'd better make sure he's dead.
Two Security Penguins carefully step through the doorway; one scans the surroundings, while one sets up Whiteoak's staff on its base end, (folding down three small legs like a tripod.) they then hurriedly step back through the opening.
Moments later, the awe inspiring figure of Whiteoak the famed techno-mage bravely emerges from the doorway, he strides about ten feet forward and looks around. He appears to be carrying three balls, which he starts to juggle. There is a brilliant yellow ball, a black ball, and a swirly rainbow colored ball.
The three balls fly through the air in timed precision. Whiteoak first uses an outside cascade pattern to his juggling, then he switches to an inside cascade, and then he switches to the circle form of juggling. All the while his eyes seem to be scanning the frozen wasteland ahead of him as if to discern what out there had caused him to sense a growing evil aggression. He repeats this routine several times. _________________ Nobody knows where you are, how near or how far.
Upon closer inspection, the shadow Addman has seen was in fact a large group of different shadows. Living shadows, so it seemed, who appeared to be acting in a defensive manner at his approach. Slightly to the left of the Shadows was a character who he didn't recognise, who also had a weapon drawn and was watching him cautiously.
Stopping his advance, Addman thought carefully over his words before he spoke, and eventually decided upon:
"Felbeast or Foe?"
Producing a rifle from a holster on his back, he held it across his chest as though for protection should these turn out to be Guardian forces that he'd never seen before. Living shadows were certainly not the Guardian's style, that he was aware of, but Blackstar was an everchanging world of the wierd.
"Zerrer has hired me as extra muscle for the Felbeasts. I have my contract with me if you need to see it." He stated as he eyed the stranger ((Mantynor)) cautiously. _________________ I like big cookies and I cannot lie,
Mantynor let his arm fall to his side but kept his longsword unsheathed,
"Felbeast. Show me this contract." he reached out towards the puppet, ready to take the contract, but also ready to pull his arm back should he try anything. _________________
Addman promptly whipped out a piece of parchment that has been concealed on his person within his bushy fur. No one really understood how Addman kept so many items inside his deceptive blue fuzz, but not many people questioned it as the fact that he exists is even more of a puzzle.
The parchment contained all the details for Addman's contract. It stipulated that he was to fight alongside The Felbeasts for the entire duration of this skirmish, and in Zerrer's handwriting was a description of his duties, to help and assist the Felbeasts in bringing down the Guardians.
"I think you'll find my papers are in order." Said the muppet in a slightly exasperated tone. He didn't really appreciate this new person's sharp tone, and thought that the Felbeasts would be desperate for someone like himself to be helping them ((Addman has a high opinion of himself, not me:P )) and was rather surprised that this guy didn't seem to recognise him. If he wasn't being paid for this he'd have probably made some sort of sarcastic comment and given up on the whole thing, but money is money.
"Now, if you'll introduce yourself and tell me what's going on around here, perhaps we can get started?" It almost pained Addman to act professional, and he did so with a straight face, his normally googly eyes were now focussed straight on the Felbeast member. _________________ I like big cookies and I cannot lie,
Mantynor took the contract, he ran his eye over it once and gave it back, then he sheathed his CGLD.
"I am Mantynor, second in command of the Felbeast Clan. As for what's going on, we've basically split our forces into 3 groups, Blood, Doom and Destruction." He gave a vague wave towards the 15 assembled Shades, that had, seeing that the stranger was no enemy, returned to their 'standing silently until they need to do something' stance, "This is Blood. And as for starting, we're not starting until Doom and Destruction are ready. It would be suicidal to attack now. Best to attack from all sides, stretch their defense thin. But if you want to, how did you put it? 'Get started' then be my guest." He returned towards the snow ridge and scanned the Citadel's walls, there didn't seem to be anyone, no, wait, there was someone there, a...juggler. "Great, we're fighting against a circus." muttered the Pangolin demon. _________________
KC decided to check about the surrounding area. She hated being in the form of a rat, even though she had a superb sense of smell in this form. She transformed into a rabbit. For individualitie's sake, she made her rabbit with a purple tail, even though it would most likely aid the enemy in reconizing her.
She cursed the fact that she didn't sign up to a group. But then again, she did like being in a class by herself. As long as she didn't attack before the others did. No, she was just going to explore.
She hopped off, looking for something to spy on. _________________ Because when you kill a guy by chopping his head off, rolling him up in a carpet, and burning it...you'd better make sure he's dead.
