Don't count on it being soon, though, since it would entail another massive update, but we have two possible and very different uses in mind for those items and some other things...

I think I might actually get where you're coming from a little. I was wondering about it, myself, so its good to know its being looked at in some way, shape or form. You guys are doing your job well.

If you're wondering about some of the seemingly "useless" items, be assured they are not so useless as they may appear.

Every single item placed into the Shop Mod takes a fair bit of work, and is chosen with care. Those which may seem to be unsynthable either are earmarked for future projects (higher Synths, etc) or may be a component of a User Exclusive Item. I'm not saying there may not be some items that will go without uses possibly for a long time, but they are in no way random.

When the Synth system was first conceived, all the various stores, resources, and many of the synths were all laid out before hand to ensure that they would be logical and balanced (mostly). It's still in flux. Razz

Oh, well yes, I assumed as much with the resources. What I was referring to were the fully synthed items which are neither usable now in the traditional manner, nor are likely to easily usable at all due to their nature. I take it that you have possibilities in place for such items. I doubt they will be indefinite eye candy.

What do you do with long blades? Make swords?

Also, what do you use lead for.

I have found no working sword recipes, of yet. But I assume that that would be the function of the long blade.

I have found no use for lead, either. Both ingredients are somewhat of a mystery to me. I assume that the problem is that neither has recipes loaded.

Heheh... I must be a real dunce because I cant figure out how to get Iron Ingots....

I've read both this thread and Rich Uncle 3Kul's thread about four times now and I still cant find it.

Could somebody tell me please?

Iron Ingot = 3 x Hematite

I know it was mentioned earlier in this thread, but I forget where exactly. It was definately in the synth list we've got on the EC forums though, because that's where I checked to find it Wink

1 Bar of whatever metal you are making a hilt out of + 1 Soft Leather.

I think that is correct.

Hmm... Does anybody know how to make arrows? I've seen the recipe somewhere but I've checked through tons of sections and i can't find it anywhere.
