CrazyD was bored and to pass the time he was making pointless small talk. Little did he know, asking some types of questions could benefit him greatly. "What types of spells do you excell in, and which ones are your favorite. Last, what do these spells do?"

The ex-Borg Norn winced at both the others loud mind voices bouncing back at him, starting up a headache. He could also feel their surprise, shock and fear as the missiles nearly got them... but then he felt something akin to relief as they left and ended up on the moon.

~Yes, it's me. Are you all right? How bad is it up there? I'm trying to help evacuate the village. I'll come find you soon~

He sent, almost as surprised as them that the missile hadn't got them, and all the while still directing the other Creatures away to safety. If he could get them to the shielded haven he'd built they'd be safe, for a while at least.

Tetsu was tired of waiting.
The ship sure was taking a long time to lift off,and time was not something they had.She turned her head in a way which the controls were seen.Lifting a clawed finger,she reached ahead and stared long and hard at the control panel.

Eventually,like all her other powers it came to her.She instantly knew how to fly the craft.She used her new found power to move the craft forward,ignoring the sound of the spacecraft scratching across the floor.As soon as they were clear,she lifted off the ground.

This was going to take awhile.

Cassie stirred. For some reason, the hum of the manta had always managed to put her to sleep. She blinked away the drowsiness and attempted to get her bearings.

"Wha...?" Cassie said, looking around, "Tetsu! Don't be so impaitient, we'll get there when we get there. It's not my fault there's no rest areas on the way to the moon."

Cassie rubbed her eyes then grabbed back the controls.

"Hey Cassie! You sure about that? I think there should be some space station out here. After all, the technology is pretty good right? It's like, what year already? Time goes by too fast!" D laughed to himself. There wasn't much to do now so he leaned up against the cold, hard wall and dosed off. He was hoping that be the time they arrived he would wake up.

At being called "impaitient" Tetsu stalked back to the cargo bay.

This was no longer an enjoyable ride.

Nynaeve shook her head ruefully at Tetsu-ko's reaction to being called impatient.

She hasn't changed much...

Eve watched Tetsu-ko stalk away to the cargo area before considering following CrazyD's example. Certainly the unyielding wall and floor were not the best place to rest against, but considering the long trip ahead of them, it was not a bad idea. Still, there was always the possibly that something could go wrong while she was resting, and so she decided that it would be better her to stay alert.

Sighing softly, Eve walked over to the controls and stood beside Cassie's chair, running her eyes over the numerous controls on the panal in front of her.

Tetsu was an impatient dragon.

Flying through space was cool and all but did it have to take to long?

A house is flattened as a Concordat hover tank plows right through it. It is empty, however; its inhabitants having already fled. The tank, uninhibited by the weak wooden structure, continues on into the center of the village, flanked by a dozen troops. One of the Veterans notices a movement on the ground and stops two Guerrillas from his squad to investigate.

"Me thinks it's a snake," the Guerrilla babbles, demonstrating its intellect. The Veteran smacks the creature on the back of the head lightly, then approaches the reptile.

"You two, get back to the platoon, this thing is just primitive wildlife," he says, gesturing to the tank, which has just managed to flatten another house.

"We're having some resistance from the local plant life. Yes you heard me! Trees!" A Veteran Sargent dives out of the reach of a branch, which comes down hard on a Guerrilla, killing it. It shrieks in the moment before impact, then is silent.

"Get the plasma throwers out, troops."

Several more Guerrillas waddle onto the scene, carrying large weapons that appear much to heavy for them to carry. The Guerrillas are quite strong for their size however, and they have no problem wielding the plasma-spewing flamethrowers. Soon the trees all around the village are up in flame.

"We're approaching the moon from the far side of the Concordat invasion," Cassie announced to the crew of the Manta, "I'll enter the atmosphere and fly low once we enter radar contact. All ground forces be ready to hot drop into the combat zone. Manta crew, battle stations."

She pressed froward on the control stick, causing the Manta to dip into the atmosphere. The fighter blasted towards the planet in a spectacular fireball. Safely protected by the heat shields, Cassie steered the ship down to just above the tree tops. Several miles ahead, the green plasmatic explosions and smoke of the battle could be seen taking place.

The Manta tore low of the forest, ripping up small trees in its wake. The village came into Cassandra's view through the windshield. She gaped in horror at the destruction that the Concordat had caused. How could anyone do such a thing simply for the purpose of doing it? She leaned back in her seat and turned to the group. Ghost looked up at Cassie with her blue eyes curiously.

"Men, women, creatures of all sorts. Prepare to meet the enemy face to face. Show them no mercy, for you shall receive none," Cassie said as she punched a large red button on the dash. In the cargo bay, the loading ramp began to drop.

"Ghost, take the controls," she said, "Ground forces, grab the anti-grav para-packs... if you need them," she added with a glance to the large winged creature in the cargo pack. Taking a pack for herself, Cassie took a running start and dove out the now open loading ramp, about 1,000 feet over the village. Immediately, the pack kicked in, glowing with bright blue lights. Cassie could feel her descent slowing, but it was not until about 10 feet before impact that the pack really kicked in, setting her down gently just outside of the village.

"Ready when you guys are," Cassandra radioed back to the remainder of the Manta. She drew her rifle and prepared for battle.

Tetsu flicked a claw.

This was it.

The large dragon flew straight out of the cargo bay and opened her wings above the treetops.
It felt good to fly again.Then she looked down,and all the horror of this battle washed up to her.Nearby,trees suddenly burst into flame and Tetsu instantly dove closer.She closed her eyes and let her ability to control work.

The flames slowly started to spin around and around untill they formed a long string of fire.That string snapped in place then began to shrink, untill the blaze was no more.

It left Tetsu tired,but at least most of the dangerous flames were out.

"Ready when you guys are."

Cassie's voice was clearly heard despite the static. Eve's heart quickened a beat. She might not be as young as she used to be, but for everyone whom she loved... she was more than ready.

Tetsu's headstart made Eve chuckle wryly in spite of this time of seriousness. Like usual, Tetsu had to get in the action first. Had they been in a more relaxed situation, she would have sat down in her favourite chair and reminsced about the past, but now was most certainly not the time for it.

Focusing on the task at hand, Eve approached the opening loading ramp, the incoming wind tickling more strands away from her already messy bun.

Already, Tetsu-ko had begun her work, deminishing the flames that had been raging earlier. Taking a deep breath, Eve took a couple steps and literally just stepped off the platform.

To others, it would have seemed like a suicidal attempt. Eve knew however that she would be safe.

A little warning didn't hurt though.

~You better catch me ryouyuu.~ Eve spoke to her friend mentally, closing her eyes.

Mits had just used Tetsu's nickname.

Catch you?

Tetsu turned to see Mits freefalling out of the spacecraft.She quickly went as fast as she could, and slid right under her.

CrazyD suddenly woke up to find everyone gone. "SHI-! Darn! why must I always sleep so long! here it goes." D almost jumped before realizing he had no pack. The ship had traveled some distance before D jumped. He couldn't see the other and became worried. He tried to glid as far as he could toward where the other made the jump. When he hit the ground he began sprinting toward where he saw smoke smoldering from where a fire once was. As D ran his self-cloaking ability began to kick in. Soon he looked like the rubble and trees that were behind him. Tetsu and Cassie can into sight but there was no apparent sight of Eve. D was confused.

"Do you know where Eve went to?"He asked Cassie. He then realized he was cloaked. "Sorry, I'm right behind you. It's D. CrazyD. Sorry for possible spooking you. I tend to do that time to time. So...have you seen Eve?"

Cassie immediately whipped around as she heard footsteps approaching, but saw nothing. Rifle raised, she noted the faint trace of a cloaking device. Her finger was tightening on the trigger when the being spoke.

"Do you know where Eve went to?"

Cassie blinked.

"Sorry, I'm right behind you. It's D. CrazyD. Sorry for possible spooking you. I tend to do that time to time. So...have you seen Eve?"

Talking with an invisible creature was something else, but Cassandra managed.

"Uh... yes. She's up there... without a para-pack. I have no idea what she was thinking," she said, pointing the dot in the sky which Tetsu had just managed to catch on her back, "Don't worry, everything is fine."

"Alright everyone, move on the village. Ghost will give us cover from the air, Tetsu if she needs any help, I expect that you will give it," Cassie spoke into the radio, "Ghost, we're ready for the drop. Give me the big guns."

With all the ground troops dropped, Ghost pulled the manta into a half-loop and corked to right herself again. Flying over the drop zone once more, the grendel pressed a second button on the dashboard. In the cargo bay, several straps exploded off the M101 Tank, sending it into a freefall out the back of the Manta.

"Ghost drop vehicle," crackled the radio.

Cassandra looked up to see the 66 tons of steel and titanium plummeting towards her. Taking great care, she reached for where she suspected CrazyD to be and pulled him out of the way of the falling deadweight.

The tank itself was equipped with a para-pack much like the version that Cassie had used to slow her descent. As such, the M101 slowed to a stop about 10 feet above the ground, then landed safely.

"You can either hop in and help me gun or go it on foot," Cassie offered to CrazyD as she clambered into the hatch, "Either way, I'm going to blow some sh*t up."

She settled into the driver's postion and the diesel engine roared to life.
