The Bronze age pack

A ruckus was in the air.

A huge pack of feathered ettins were chasing down a tired grendel.

The grendel, in desperation, began spiraling down near the pack.

As he zoomed closer, he became more emaciated and old looking, until he slammed into the ground with a sickening crack, with no evidence of said grendel ever having wings.

The pack of ettins began to follow him, before they noticed the pack and turned away to stay safe.

The gendel seemed unconcious, and damaged from bites and the fall.

Celerus shooed away the ettins and gets out his medical kit. He approches the grendle "You ok? Oh dear, I better bing him back" Celerus picks up the poor, unconcious, grendle and brings him to camp where he can get medical attention.

Shadow strolled ove rto the base of Hercules' hill, and picked up the cherry that Zelda had thrown at Hercules.

"Hmm... these are quite good. If I had known the food over here was this good, I would have been here earlier..."

Celerus passed Shadow "Yep, they sure are . . ." Then he noticed something, he went back to shadow "I don't remember meeting you. Are you new?" He puts down the unconcious unkown stranger that was on his shoulder and examns him. "Hmm, this looks a tad serious. Anyone know a good medic?"

"My name is Shadow... I just found this place when I helped Nightshade out of a tree... What happened to this one?" Shadow asked looking concerned at the wounded Grendel.

"Ah, you met the betta I see. Well, this kid was attacked by a crowed of feathery ettins. But I scared 'em off. You know how we can patch this poor fellow up?"

"move over,i've had training at this."nesha walked over and checked the grendels pulse,beath and made sure his airway was clear.she then checked his woulds and she made herself sure that none of the wounds that had penetraited the skin would be fatal.

she pulled Celerus's medi pack towards herself and pulled out an anti-bactria pad and started cleaning up the bites that had drawn blood,and pulled out a few patches and some sort of tape,and started covereing the wounds she looked him over again and then sighed"he might has a few broken ribs,and none of the bites has hit any vital veins or artiers.but it will be a while before he can up and moving comfortably again."she picked up the bandages and began patching him up,making sure he had room to breath,but that the bandages were tight.

The more serious things where done first,and then she started on the less life-threatening things.

Shadow looked at Celerus in confusion.

"The Beta? I'm sorry, this is all new and confusing to me. I've never seen a pack of Grendels... or any other Creature for that matter. At least not like this."

The grendel stirred slightly at the stinging sensation coming from the anti-bacterial pads.

Somehow, he never goes unconcious for long.

Celerus smiles "At least that is one thing taken care of."

Nightshade and Zelda run up to the group to see what the fuss is about.

then, the clouds start to gather up and turn gray, blocking out the sun light "Uh oh"

"What's wrong? Why are we afraid of a little rain?" This was somthing new to Shadow, he had seen rain fall all the time, but he had yet to see a grendel that minded getting wet.

The grendel groaned, blinking a few times.

"Aaargh... what happened now.... like I fell from the Capillata or something..."

Suddely, the clouds begin to roar and a lightig bolt structs a tree. Celerus, Zelda, and nightshade starts to paic as Hercules sleeps on his hill.

The grendel cringed at the noise.

"Oww... oh shee, headache. Must've drank too much hooch and gotten into a barfight or something... no, can't be..."

Lightning on the other hand, that was something to be moderately frightened of.

Shadow picked up a nearby cherry and flung it at sleeping Hercules.

"Wake up you lazy bum!"

With that Shadow turned and picked up the Grendel with a hangover.

"Is there a cave or somthing where we can find safety? We're in grave danger if we stay out here." Shadow said to the four others.
