Fight of the Upcoming

[KC11]

Up in the rafters, there was a creature. A creature that neither Light nor EC knew about. A creature that would only want to cause both parties harm. A creature that did not want KC to turn away.

It cackled and fell from the rafters, changing into KC11. Then it crept up behind Lep and throttled him. Another one of the creatures dived and took the form of an EC member, then took out a blade and put it up to KC's throut.

KC suddenly found herself with a blade up to her throut. She turned her eyes to Ashen and said "A little help please..."

((I don't know what to call these creatures! Ah well... I''ll think about adding them to the genetic repository once I figure out a name and description)

Well, whatever they are, since you created them, I'm going to let you take control of them, unless you don't mind me power playing a bit with the NPC's?

And by power playing I mean describing the creature's attacks while I'm returning attacks? So it's not like I'm just going to defeat it without any wounds or anything.)~

Ashen awaited the attack on Lep, only to find that KC had come up behind the rabi-cat to conk her over the head. With an angered glare, Ashen turned her attention to the KC attacking her fellow Council member, only to hear the voice of the actual KC ask for help.

Ashen's stared for only a few seconds at what she was seeing, trying to figure out what to do in this situation. Finally, her fists clenched and she cursed, the backs of her hands glowing a fierce and angry red until her single chain blade vanished, and two, somewhat shorter chain blades appeared in both her hands. She twirled them quickly with a few simple flicks of her wrist, then crossed her arms and let the chains slip loose through her fingers so that she launched both weapons in opposite directions. The left blade shot toward the leg of the EC member attacking the original KC (though to be honest, Ashen had no idea which ones were the duplicates, and she didn't quite have the time to figure it out) to hopefully wrap around it's ankle so she could pull the it to the ground. If it was one of her fellow EC members, she didn't want to be the one put up for murder- and Council trials at the cave never really went well (probably because Judge Fort just enjoyed the thought of proclaiming both parties guilty).

The right blade however, was aimed specifically at the duplicate KC's head. Even if Ashen wasn't sure if this were the actual KC or not, it was still attacking Lep- something she would stop if she could possibly help it, even if that resulted in the death of the creature.

In the midst of the attack, Ashen was so tense that she was quite near to the point of shaking. "Would it be too much trouble," she shouted sarcastically, "To only have one bad thing happen at a time around here?!"

[KC11]

((You can go ahead and powerplay))

The imp KC11 saw the blade flash towards her, and she ducked the blade. She then looked at Ashen and said "Why would you do that to me? I thought you were different! Not like those other EC members. I thought you could see, that KC11 over there was a decoy used to destract the EC members."

The real KC11 yelled over at Ashen. "Don't listen to it! It's a rafter imp!"

"Of course, the decoy isn't so well done." said the Imp KC11. "So when I saw it wasn't attacking the EC, well, I had to act. I revealed myself to all of the EC."

Then it brandished a bow and arrow set identical to that of the real KC11.

"LOOK AT THE ARROWS!" yelled KC11 before the imp KC11 could speak. "THERE'S A BAT MARK ON THEM! THAT'S HOW TO TELL!"

"drat..." muttered the imp KC under its breathe, so no one could hear.

"Grrr . . ."

This is what little Lep could say while she was choking by the Imp KC11's hands. She placed her water gun back into her sack and unsheathed her staff, Tail. She flapped her wings against KC11, hoping for it to cause enogh distraction for Lep to escape KC11's grasp. The Imp seemed to letted her go in echange for a bunch of arrows. Now was her chance to fight back. She held her staff in her hand, and aimed straight at the head. If Lep were to hit the KC11 Imp, it could have a small chance of conking it out.

Also, she throttled you... Which I took to mean 'Hit you over the head', but I suppose could also be taken as choking. ^^';;

But yeah, you were free, so you can edit your post if you'd like.

Also, lets just say that the EC imp looks like Seph, since he left.

Also also, I'm assuming that the bat wing marks are only on the weapons of the creatures, right? If not, I'll make a slight correction in my post. Finally, does anything happen if the imps bite you? You don't have to make something happen if you don't want to, it's just a thought since Ashen gets bitten later on in the post, and I'd like to know if the imps are poisonous or something. ^^';; )~

Ashen shook her head at the frantic shouts from each party, quickly changing tactics to benefit the situation. As she pulled her arm back (taking the slack chain aimed at the KC imp) she yanked her other arm up at the last moment, so that the blade headed toward the EC imp whipped up and wrapped around it's wrist, slicing a deep cut in the creatures forearm. With a shriek of pain, the Seph Imp dropped the sword- which was also marked with a bat wing symbol.

Twirling the other chain around her own wrist (in a less painful manner) Ashen used both hands to pull on the one tied around the imp's wrist- swiftly pulling him to the floor, and freeing the true KC.

"So then," she muttered in the direction of the KC mimic as she pulled it's fellow to the ground, "You attack Lep, and then expect me to be guilty when you spout out gibberish and act innocent?"

Ashen grinned cynically beneath her black cloth mask as she pulled the Seph Imp closer to her. "Sorry, but I didn't need the real KC to point it out to me before I figured out that something was wrong here."

The creature at her feet was shrieking in a high pitched tone that the real Seph would have never been able to reach- nor, Ashen thought, would the real Seph ever lower himself to that level. The Seph imp clawed at the ground, and then at Ashen's leg until it found a good grip and pulled itself forward. The rouge formed hunter cried out in pain as the imp sunk it's Seph like fangs deep into the her calf. Angered beyond all rational thought, Ashen roared and whipped her free chain blade out to twirl it around the throat of the imp, yanking him up as hard as she could. The creature's teeth raked painfully across her skin before her leg was free, and with stinging tears in her now dark green eyes, she used the chains of her weapons to hold the EC mimic still.

"KC, Lep," Ashen said through gritted teeth, "Do you think you two can work together long enough to take down that other imp? I have this one over here..."

Ashen was right-Spifen was casting a spell, and a very powerful attack spell at that.

The blasts from the water gun did little more than make it angry-while its fire magic ability was weak against water magic, water magic SPELLS were the only thing that were capable of injuring Spifen badly-most other spells did little damage, and the spiked orbs surrounding it made it invulnerable against physical attacks.

It presently moved its orbs in such a way that it triggered the spell.

A massive fireball formed above Spifen, than spirals of light flowed into the fireball, and a blinding white flash filled the room, and the fire turned white.
Then the fireball spiraled down around Spifen, moving ever so faster.
Once it reached the floor, it spiralled once so fast it was immpossible to predict its movements.
Then suddenly, it flew off course-and straight towards Leporidae. If the spell were to hit, she would have very little chance of survival.

Leporidae noticed the ball of flame go twrads her. She knew she had to act, and fast. She grabbed for her staff and swings it at the spell, much like as it was a baseball. This move blocked most of the attack, at least Lep thinks. She did recive some damage, making her fall over backwards and damaging her staff a bit. The impact gave her a headache and the staff flew away. She thought it would be best to let the other EC members take the orb on, sure that they will. For now, she was going to think on how to attack this fiend. Lep went down the end of the hallway to retrive her staff, leaving it up to everyone else to take care of it.

[KC11]

KC11 walked over to the imp and looked at it. It was a strange thing to stare at yourself (this is the KC imp, right?). The imp suddenly bared its teeth. It had very sharp teeth.

KC had sharper teeth.

She roared right in the face of the imp, blowing its hair backwards, as she transformed into her dragon form.

"TAKE IT WHILE I'M DESTRACTING IT!" she managed to yell at Lep.

[Leporidae]

"GO TAKE CARE OF IT YOURSELF! GOSH!"

This is the reply heard down the hallway. Lep felt as if everyone and their Lawyers are either ganging up on her or dependinf on her. She was sick of it.
It took a while, but she evertually found her staff. It was not very functanal at this point and could use some fixing up. Deciding on her current situation, it felt that it would be best to go back home, get her wepons fixed, and come back to whoop Spifen's, the Imp's, and The Light's asses later. She yanked out a portal device. Lep wasn't very sure how to use this, since technology wasn't her best suit. She began to push the device over and over again. Getting angry that she was unable to activate the portal, she throws it onto the floor. It activates itself and a Swirling portal to The Black Forest opens up. She sends a quick yell down the hallway just about she was going to jump in.

"I'll be back!"

And away she went, the portal closing after her

After Lep escaped (and survived Brightflame), Spifen focused its attention on KC11 (the real one).

After sizing her up, it focused its telekinetic abilities on KC11.

[KC11]

KC11 grumbled something about unhelpful creatures, then turned her attention to the imp. It was starting to look quite hidious now. The hair was now black and greasy, the skin now the color and texture of wrinkled leather, and its eyes were now bulging and black. She did the only thing she knew. She took a deep breath and breathed some lightning.

The creature reached shrikes higher than that of the Queen of the Night (a really high voice, trust me) then it went limp. KC then popped the imp into her mouth and swallowed.

She suddenly felt a telekinese pull somewhere, and turned about, looking for the sorce.

You're mine now, Spifen hissed in its mind.

Once it got a good mind-hold on her, it cast Fire Spuds, sending three fire-balls in widely spaced arcs at her.

"Woah!" yelled KC11. She quickly turned into a flea and started running as fast as she could under and away from the arc of fire orbs. But for some reason, she couldn't run away. She seemed to be stuck....
