So. Kamaitachi hasn't been abandoned, just... Recycled. Into something BETTER.

How could something get better than Japanese magical weasels you ask?!

It gets better when it has a green rabbit and a monochrome two-tailed fox in it!

I call it FLEDGLING. Done with markers and a bit of digital touch ups.

I suck at summaries, so I just put a poem in the profile. Grah.

BUT I'll try and type one up here.

The story starts in the parallel of our world. Yes, this project screams science fiction from every orifice. HAH.

Anyway, you'll notice that everybody's a FURRY. Yosh. There isn't 'cat' or 'dog', just mixtures of different attributes. Plus it would get confusing combined with the original plot.

There are the Aryans- creatures of white fur and bright blue eyes- and the Inhabitants- your everyday animal. They're 'everything else'.

Because of the major genetic differences, these two consider themselves to be separate species. In fact, they hate each other's guts. Racism abounds.

The friction escalates to a point where an Aryan in a state of power manages to pass a law where every Inhabitant is hunted down and thrown into 'camps.' Considered trash, they're experimented on and made into war-machines in order to conquer the rest of the world.

No, I wasn't watching a documentary on Hitler when I thought of this. >> <<

The story revolves around a green rabbit/kangaroo/whatever named Daisuke (I SEE YOU SHAON). Japan (which was were he's from >_>; ) was recently captured by the Aryan forces. His father (who was an Inhabitant) died trying to defend their home ( Brave, isn't he? TT_TT ), leaving his Aryan wife and child behind. Now since Daisuke was the only other Inhabitant in their family (and considered a good subject for experimentation since he was young) he was whisked away to a prison camp in America. DOESN'T THIS SOUND FUN, KIDS?!

That's where he meets Civ- a calm natured fox with a hankering for poker. The first arc takes place in the prison and how they manage their escape ( ). Daisuke gets angsty over his sister and mom a few times, and Civ gets emo over his past also. It's a dramatic party of tradgedy! YAY.

I can't reveal any more about the arc or what happens next, btu as I've hinted to a few EC members, Daisuke gets the ability to control fire. And not from testing, either!

I mentioned another comic with a higher amount of yaoi in it, but my fingers hurt too much from ze typing.

It's done in watercolors though. And it's got zombies. WONDERFUL FURRY ZOMBIES!

Looks interesting so far Panther, nice art too. Too bad that there's only four pages of story so far though, now I want to read more .

Btw, is the Ino-Shika-Chou comment on page four a reference to Naruto by any chance?
