A forest was in the center of an island surrounded by calm waters. The sky was clear of clouds. It was a breezeless cool day.

Nynaeve stood in the middle of a forest clearing, awaiting her opponent. For this battle she had chosen to not wear her cloak and was thus only clothed in a long sleeved tunic and leggings made of shedded dragon skin, tight-fitting amour that would not get in her way of movement. Two enchanted, amethyst encrusted throwing daggers were hidden neatly in her sleeves.

Unbeknownist to Eve, her opponant was slinking in the shadows behind her.

TheBlackSoul, the terrifying dragon enigma, stood upright against a tree, clutching his spear-like weapon, the gae bolg.
His other two weapons, the stoner and the spirit crusher, were carefully sheathed.

Without making a noise, TheBlackSoul watched Eve's every move...

The hair's on the back of Nynaeve's neck stood up and she quickly whirled around to look behind her.

Is something moving in the shadows...?

Unhesitatingly, she slowly approached the spot where she thought the movement was.

TheBlackSoul, careful to remain hidden, slid deeper into the forest before turning around.

Then he quickly cast a Shadow Die (one of his spells, see link in sig for more info) towards his opponant before slinking back into the shadows again.

From the midst of the trees came a spiraling, black box. Springing into action, Nynaeve did a back handspring before landing back on the ground, chanting a spell as she did so.

"Tsuchi seishou tame mai kyuujo... Ishi Shouheki!"

A thick, stone wall rose from the ground.

TheBlackSoul came up and inspected the wall.

I wonder what this is supposed to do? he thought.

No matter-he lept into the sky.

Circling the area, he prepared to dive-bomb his opponent with the gae bolg pointing forwards.

((The wall was suppose to deflect the spell. I didn't put that in my post because I was unsure of how strong the spell is, so I didn't know whether to post that the spell didn't work, etc.))

Sighing in relief that the spell was stopped by the wall, Nynaeve started to plan on her next action, not noticing that BS was in the air.

TheBlackSoul noticed his enemy on the ground-and she appeared to be unaware that the dragon enigma was in the air.

Quickly, he swapped weapons-sheathing the gae bolg and drawing the stoner, he quickly folded his wings in and dive-bombed Eve.

Glancing up, Nynaeve saw BS diving down at her with some sort of weapon at a fast speed. With the wings furled in like that, it would be difficult to stop the momentum or change direction. She quickly began devising a plan.

Bending down, she waited until BS was almost to the ground before muttering, "Tsuchi seishou tame mai kyuujo... Ketatamashii Ishi Debabouchou!" while touching the ground. Immediately after that, she did a backwards roll before seaking shelter in the trees. Enormous jagged spikes shot up from the ground where she had placed her hands. Now perched on the branch of one of the trees, Nynaeve waited anxiously to see what the outcome would be.

TheBlackSoul pulled up just in time to avoid being impaled.
This opponent's tricky, he thought to himself.

He alighted next to the rock spikes and performed Blood Money.

((Just a suggestion. Instead of just saying what spell you're going to perform, also add a bit of description with it. Those descriptions add to the whole role-playing experience. Also, it gives the other person more material to work with. Last idea, check out the Blackstar Wiki. There will be an explaination on freestyle rpi-ing and other information there.))

Highly disappointed that her plan didn't work, Nynaeve made her way to a different area in the forest by means of leaping from tree branch to tree branch.

((Also, if you have any susggestions for me, feel free to make them.))

TheBlackSoul took flight again.

Curse this sunlight! he thought.

Before long, he had caught sigh of his opponent swinging through the branches.

While keeping her in his sights, he thought about his next attack.

Nynaeve stopped and took quick aim. She muttered a quick prayer to the Goddess before reciting the incantation.

"Kaji seishou tame mai kyuujo... Hinotama!"

A blazing ball about 10 cm in diameter formed at her raised her hands and flew towards BS.

TheBlackSoul dove, avoiding major damage from the fireball, but the tip of his tail got badly scorched.

Landing, he brought down his arm to cast Blood Money, sending up to spirals of light around him, and after that, a great circle of light closed in on Eve.[/i]
