You may have noticed we had several minutes of coufounding errors and white screens. Do not be alarmed, it was a deliberate fault to find a code error. Everything should be back to normal now.

I had a error screen that said "Fatal Error using sand" or something like that. Is this related?

yeah...a new...uh...thing I installed had a bug that was hiding, so I had to crash my site to get to it.

Edit: This new mod thingy seems very happy to give me small amounts of yen as well as sand.

No problem, particuly when I managed to sell of the 10 piles of sand I had acumilated. But to pay you back, a little thing I found on the internet should entertain you...

| I've been getting a lot of yen along with the sand. Probably about 20 yen total at this point. Sometimes yen and sand at the same time. |

Yep, that's normal. In order to test the systems, we made it pay out very frequently but in tiny amounts.
It should be back to "normal" now, with regular prizes, but a much lower appearance rate. So keep an eye out for Special Events, the newest feature brought to you by the amazing code monkeys, DP and AL!

Oh dear. I must have missed the sandstorm. I was out exploring in such areas as Gameware of Forum and Crea'ture breeder.  must have missed a lot.
