[Announcement] Blackstar's Early B-Day Present!

Some of you may have noticed a new panel on new post and reply screens.

You now have the option to make the items you sale usable, that is to say that you allow other people to use them, with a random outcome given by the board.

We plan to expand some existing items to be usable, some of which will suprise you.

So, to start Blackstar's Birthday Celebration off, I give you light!

I should take a second to mention this is in super-beta mode

using regular items is tested and appears to work everytime, but using an item that requires ammo (right now, some of the bows are about it), it flakes off a bit

I too, look forward to this new milestone in Blackstar's history, for it will truly be a memorable moment - a new era in the Roleplaying art.

Please be aware, however, that pending resolution of some rather persistent bugs in the system, we're not going to be having any Mutant Chicken Throwing contests... yet.

Rest assured the admin team is doing their best to get it all fixed up. (meaning, AL and DP get to work their butts off, while Goron and I look useless. Razz

)

We think we have them fixed. So feel free to start throwing those chickens!

Oh, and the tubafur now on sale in my shop is also usable!

edit: Also, if you do find any bugs, be sure to report them...there are a few lingering ones, but they are minor.

You throw the Mutant Chicken at DarkPsycho, and the fowl fowl screeches as it flies through the air in cloud of stench and feathers. Feathers ruffled, the Mutant Chicken squawks and takes off running, a mean glint in its beady red eyes.
