Underhanded Corporate Training

Till Doyle, quite snugly in his office, had recieved a rather strange message from his No.1 employee, Laur Wilkins. It seemed to indicate the fact that he was required quite urgently.

The message gave him the co-ordinates of a room within the training dojo. Being sure to shut off all lights on his way out of his office, he makes his way to his private mech room, with some of the corporations most advanced technologies.

Strapping himself into a mech, the cockpit closes over him, and the HUD switches on. Flicking a switch, the roof opens up, and he takes off at quite an high speed. Nearing the dojo in minutes, he finds a thick brush of forest to land in.

Once he was unstrapped, and safely out of the mech, he activates it's camoflage system via a remote device. He heads up into the dojo, and following the instructions given to him, he sees the room. Switching around a 'free' sign to 'occupied', he steps inside, it is a room constructed out of black space. He steps further inside as a light flickers on, but he can't seem to find Laur...

Till: Laur! Laur?! Vhere are you......?

*Laur waits for a few minutes to reveal herself, she had to admit these rooms were interesting, being made out of oblivion and all. She walks on what was a floor but not, until Till can get a clear view of her, and smiles*

Good, you came. I wasn't sure if you would. These rooms they are interesting. Made out of nothing, yet we still walk and talk as we normally would... except for one thing...

*Laur waits, watching Till. Would he bite?*

Till listens intently to every word Laur says, he knows she's upto something, and his curiosity gets the better off him...

Tapping his cane on the 'ground', no sound is made. Till's mind tries to run through theories and puzzles. The only suitable one being that a person of incredible power has constructed this room, using either dimensional powers or extreme magic powers...

A man of power himself, No.2, he snarls, he is quite taken by this construct, he must make a note of it...

Looking at Laur, as if she's stepped out of line, he demeanour more aggressive than usual, "You must take zome schematics and find out how it vorks, no...? It vould be useful in training....."

He pauses, thinking, still trying to guess Laur's hand, he knows it can't be that big a hand, she wouldn't dare step up against him, surely...? He bites, out of necessity, "Vhat vas ze other thing zat you vanted to tell me......?

[Swix]

*Laurs expression doesn't change, despite her being very pleased with Tills reactions. Though his sudden aggression made her a little more wary*

I will make what schematics I can Till, of course, I thought you might find this place interesting

*Laur waits as Till pauses, expression now a lot more serious before she answers*

The other thing Till, is that in this particular room, powers do not work... Useful in training, wouldn't you say?

*Her 'hand' now dealt, Laur assumes a fighting stance. This time, this time, hitting her would not be so easy. This time she could fight back*

Till! Do you know how long I have waited to fight you on even terms? Do you have any idea what it's like, knowing you cannot do what you so desperately want to? Fight me Till! Here, now, while we're even. You can call it training...

*Laurs submissive demeanour evaporates, she is now a very aggressive looking person. Not just that but an aggressive and dangerous looking person*

[GBE]

Till glares at her, not sure whether to take it as a very odd and strange joke, or to see that she is deadly serious....

"Laur, vhat has gotten into you, mein freund?! Have you finally lost it and gone insane? My power alvays vorks, no matter vhere ve go, remember.... You must surely not be serious..... No...?"

Till, now really doubting his own abilities, and this room, looks around, to see if this is some sort of trick, turning his back on her, but not his mind, he fails to see anything to indicate that it is a trick. Now fully falling into Laur's game, still his back turned....

"You, my most trusted, have decieved me. For vhat reason may I ask...? You have had eveyzing... And now............"

[Micheal_Rawlings]

*Micheal Rawlings steps in, interrupting the two parties*

She doesn't speak lies, Till. There are things at work not only here, but throughout this entire dimension that are beyond explination.

*Micheal looks around*

This looks similar to zero space technology, but something's amis...I mean, there's something going on that instantly absorbs all released energy. This isn't technology...but it could prove useful.

*Laur watches Till as he glares at her, then looks around at his surroundings. She bites back a bitter laugh at being called 'my friend' by him, but remains deadly serious. Michael Rawlings stepped in, affirmed she was telling the truth. She wan't expecting company, but Michael Rawlings could do whatever he wanted, she supposed*

Yes Till, I am serious. Very serious

*Laur sees Till turn his back on her, and wonders if he did it on purpose. She listens to his next words*

I want to fight you, Till. Simpla as that. I have wanted to fight you since we first met, you remember that, don't you Till? I remember it dlearly, it burns in my mind... And throw in a little vengeance for all the times you have hit me, too. That is why I do this now

*Laur cautiously moves towards Till with his back turned to her. She wouldn't attack while he faced away, she owed him that much*

And now... what Till? Now what are you going to do?

((Having all 3 Corperation leaders within the Training Dojo, and esspecially within one of the special rooms is overwhelmingly tempting. I'd love to show them what these rooms can really do.

But I suppose the Dojo was open to all Blackstar members.

If they do anything to threaten the Dojo however....))

((Well - then isn't it just lucky that no-one in character apart from Micheal, Laur and Till himself know that they are from the corporation. When I say lucky, I mean lucky for those who would oppose us...))

Till is struggling to believe that the one out of three things that he's been able to rely on, his power of an unknown source. Turning back around, his anger is temporarily subsided by Micheal's appearance.

Blinking once, "Micheal, how did you know ve vere coming here....?"

[Laur Doyle]

((Don't worry Danikat, I'm more interested in other things atm *has gone off her rocker* but I can't speak for the other two))

*Laur straightens up, brushing herself off. Brushed aside by Till again, even though for once she'd actually wanted to get him mad. She looks to Michael from where she stands*

That's a very good question. How?

((I'm going to rp az if Micheal Rawling's never appeared - God moding yes, but he haz yet to reply. He iz also deeply involved in Corporate Developments...))

Till turns to face Laur, a sneer accross his face. Before he replies to Laur, Till recieves Micheal's comm via the radio, "You have. I vill be zere az soon az I have finished, 'training' vith Laur. I look forvard to learning of zis, interesting development."

He looks at Laur, "An interesting development... No...?" He 'storms' towards Laur and points his cane at her chest, "If you give me no choice, I vill show you my abilities, az limited az zey are." With that, he jabs his cane at her...

*Laur did find this development interesting, but before she could say anything she found a cane pointed at her chest as Till had stormed up to her. In her fighting stance she sidestepped out of the way of the jab, though it caught her left arm. She didn't wince, she seemed to draw strength from it, and aimed a punch at Tills own chast*

Till's power having been aparently negated, left him to vulnerable to attack. However, due to his stocky form, he was able to take Laur's punch. It was like a bee sting, he almost chuckled, were it not for the consequences.

He goes to swing his cane sideways towards Laur's neck, not quickly, but with power...

[Laur Doyle]

*Laur gets a little irritated that her punch, while it had hit, hadn't seemed to hurt at all. Though finally getting to hit him felt good, it was short-lived as Till cane came at her neck. Not fast, but with a lot of power behind it. If it hit he'd break her neck!*

*Laur ducks, so it goes over her head. On her way up a second punch was aimed at Tills face, bringing with it the momentum of Laur standing back up, as attacking his chest hadn't worked at all*
