Goron watched helplessly as the mech disapeared through the portal.

"Couldn't he have done that earlier and saved me the trouble?!"

Discouraged, Goron grabbed Shadow and stepped into the shadow of a nearby tree.

"We'd better find the others... I have no idea how to track that warp."

Goron spotted the group through a nearby shade from the shadow world. He stayed within the dark realm as he listened to Blackfoot read the scroll, his grendel beside him.

"Great... if someone else captures that Onyx Longsword, this place is going to get crowded. I really dislike sharing this realm with anyone except you Shadow."

In this kind of situation he probablly would have gone to look for the items by himself, effectively backstabbing the group. However, he had no idea where to look, and he couldn't cover that much ground in time to retreive all of the objects.

Goron stepped from the darkness accompanied by Shadow.

"I know how well this worked last time I suggested it... So let's try it again. I suggest that we split into teams."

Goron looked over Blackfoot's shoulder at the map.

"From what I can tell we can find the location of the Longsword, the Dagger, and the Diamond Heart. We should probablly give that last one priority as its likely if someone else has the other half of the map, they have the location as well.

There are 5 objects for us to recover. As I see it we have two options:

The first one: We could split groups... actually I lost count of how many of us there are a long time ago... but they should be equally divided for all items, even the ones we do not know the whereabouts of. For anyone assigned to an object that we do not have the map for, they will go after that map instead. Once the other part of the map is secure, they will split up and find the remaining items.

The advantage of this plan is we would have a better chance of getting more items... however with our forces so lightly spread, we may not be able to retreive some of them.

The second option: We split into groups spread evenly just for the items we know of. Once we have those items, we go after the map, and repeat the process for the second half.

The advatage here is we have a greater chance of retreiving the ones we already know about. The disadvantage is it allows for a greater amount of time before the other ones can be located, therefore allowing someone else to retreive them.

The choice is up to you all... take a vote if you must..."

Goron leaned against his tree, and waited for a reaction.

I'm alright now thankyou very much. It was a pretty bad fall, I doubt I'll be flying again any time soon. Do you think we should find the rest of the group right about now?

"Hang on now, let's think this through. We can assume that as soon as the Corporation gets wind of these relics, they're going to be all over them like snake oil on a lawyer." The unicorn looks pensive.

"If we split up, heading for each section, won't the Corp track us down and steal the items? They have far greater resources and numbers than we."

"Does anyone other than ourselves and DP know the location of the two weapons shown only on this half of the map?" She asks Blackfoot.

"I don't much care what we go after, but the one in the middle makes sense. Not like I can use any of these things." Embri sighs. "Ancient relics are never made with the non-humanoid in mind... Ah well, at least we can try to keep them from falling into the wrong hands."

((Yes Nasari, but you'll have to look after yourself for now... somehow... the only one in the area was Goron and he never even saw you before he left. Now 3kul's characters and Cloud are the neares to you... you better hope they can help.))

"So what are you proposing Embri? That we stay together and go after the items as a group. This seems like a waste of our recouses to me. Not only can a smaller group cover ground faster, but a single group means we may only get one item... and we will reach it slower, giving the corporation more time."

((Is it just me or do some of these items seem to model some of the characters from this RP's powers? Red's ability to command fire, Embri's telekenesis, my Shadow travel? You running out creativity DP?... lol))

But seriously, I tried to come up with powers that would fit the weapon, and the region it hails from. And just so you know, you just have to have the relic in your possession to weild it's powers, you don't have to actually hold it...that, and the Diamond Heart one is a necklace...I didn't forget our non-hominid friends.

Embri looks pensive. "I hear your argument for splitting up, Goron, I'm just worried that it will be too difficult to defend an object once found if we do so. How would the Corporation be able to find the items first unless we lead them to it? Unless they have an identical map, or follow ours, it seems unlikely.

((Am I assuming correctly that only our group has the two locations shown on the map, other than the one that his partial, other than DP? ))

Goron turned to the group.

"What do you all think? Be swift in your desicion, every second we debate gives the Corporation more time."

And how could you make such an identification from a ground based perspective...? Hmmm...?

And, who said all mechs are destroyed? Ze corporation iz powerful indeed.))
