As you may (or may not) have noticed, the payouts for various forums have been upped, and many areas which formerly yielded nada now earn you a shiny pile of Yen

The original system was restricted because there was no outlet for all the excess money that it was pumping into the economy. With the stores back up (and almost done) and with Synth shops to help suck some of that excess cash away, there's now room for more earning power.

Please be advised that there is still a cap on how many cash earning posts you can have per day, and spamming for money is strictly banned. Don't do it, even if you're tempted!

These cash modifications are on probation, they may be tweaked as we watch how much money is entering/exiting the economy.

This sounds intresting. I'm pretty sure that if you upped the cap on the Yen

you get from the Norn Gardens, then it would become more active and therefore I get something to moderate.

Several forums also pay out now, where they did not before. I'll let you discover which ones. Wink

Do you get more yen on some posts than others? Like if you write something fairly long, do you get more?

Indeed, you are correct.

The base system works as follows -

20 Yen

are now earned for a reply (previously it was 10), plus a small amount multiplied by your post length. (longer posts = More money).

The cap for one post is 100 Yen

, up from the previous 50 - you can earn up to 100 yen per post, depending on length.

Topic creators also get a small Yen

bonus each time they get a reply from someone else to their thread. (5 Yen

Potentially, yes. All depends on how successful your topic is - note that most of the threads in the Bingo Hall are not hundreds of pages.

you get per reply is just that - 5 Yen

- it's not based on post length reply, so it doesn't matter how long or short the reply is.

The topic creator still only gets 5 Yen
