Converting guildwars_tree to XHTML 1.0 Transitional

Every page on Blackstar gets at least 20-some HTML errors using guildwars_tree (Don't know or care about Elveron or subSilver, really)

I'm going to change that by recoding guildwars_tree in XHTML 1.0 Transitional and possibly by changing the way BBCode handles URLs.
The conversion will take place in a seperate template (XHTML_guildwars), so don't worry about Blackstar exploding. Just don't use XHTML_guildwars.

XHTML is basically the latest version of HTML, except that it has been modified to work with XML. In complex terms, XHTML documents allow for automated processing to be performed using a standard XML library.

In easy terms, you need to actually know how to code to use this, as opposed to HTML, where typos and things like that could go unnoticed.

I've fixed a bunch of errors so far.

viewtopic, viewforum, and the index should all always be XHTML compliant now. (In the XHTML Guildwars, naturally >.>)

So, this can then be used to, say, make a program which composites all the posts in a single thread into one giant file for the archives? Sounds interesting.

It'd be possible, although quite hard, given PHPBB uses table based layouts without classes or anything. I'm just cleaning up the syntax for the heck of it Razz

I'll see what I can do with CSS sometime... Tomorrow probably, unless DP is around, in which case I'll have to help him out with the items stuff (I'm clueless as to how to use the item stuff, but I know about at the actual looking how PHPBB works. I need more debug info from him but he disappeared from MSN earlier)

And I won't be available for any great period of time after Thursday due to needing to do hardcore gaming/homework with my birthday presents/homework.
