Sorry for forgetting about this thread, I don't really have any good excuse so I guess I'll just have to work extra hard to make up for it (or bribe everyone, whichever's easier ).

I can't share my work just yet though, as I'm currently housesitting for someone and my computer can't seem to hook up to their wireless internet :/.

But rest assured that in less than a week I'll put up what I've done for you all to scrutinize and criticize .

CrazyD, your avatar is clearly a Warhammer 40K Tyranid (Carnifex...?)

Thus, that is copyrighted material, and cannot be used for an Imagine.

You can, of course, make a *somewhat* similar creature, but blatant copying will just get CP and Mits into trouble - you don't want that, now do you?

(No. The Carnifex is really big and somewhat walks on all fours. My avatar is of a Tyranid Warrior. (check my post in the genetic repository for more info.))

Ah, apologies. I don't play 40K, I play Fantasy. (If I do take up 40K, it'd be Tyranids, though! They look fun to paint.)

Indeed, upon further consultation to my sourcebooks and squinting at the screen, I'd agree you're right, it's a Nid' Warrior, and not a Carnifex, though you must admit they're pretty similar. I don't see any problems with Mits making an alien-ish critter with scythe arms etc, so long as its not readily identifiable as a Tyranid.

YA, the avatar kind of got warped when I tried to shrink it. I tried my best to make it look better. I looked REALLY bad before I somewhat fixed it.

don't worry. I'm a (almost) strait "A" student. I have a HIGH "B" in L.A. and the rest are high "A's". I try to be lazy when I can.(that's not too often)
