Thundering footsteps behind her... again. This time she allowed herself a quick glance behind and immediately wish she hadn't. The sight of Neko made her gasp in surprise and stumble. Her stride faltered. Resolving to not let this disturb her and using the adrenelin rush that was pulsing in her veins, she regained balance and increased her pace.

Nynaeve had barely taken five steps when she spotted a familliar pair of paws clinging onto the edge of the wall. How did he get up here- oh no... A few feet away from the paws was Tala, a scary sight now that she was in her full Wolf form. Talk about being stuck between a rock and a hard spot.

Determined to end this, she chanted, "Tsuchi seishou tame mai kyuujo... Ketatamashii Ishi Debabouchou!" before lunging and exectuting a roundoff into a back handspring with a half twist tacked on the end. Landing softly back onto her feet while facing forwards, she continued running towards Coolpikaa, very aware of the creaking protest of the rock wall as it began to reshape again. One by one, starting from where her hands had touch the wall when she was doing the roundoff, enormous jagged spikes shot up and rapidly made its way across the top of the wall on both sides of the starting point.

"Coolpikaa! Trust me! Let go!" she yelled to her comrade. Since they had to get away- the faster the better- she didn't hesitate before leaping off the wall.

Pain!

Searing, grasping, mind-clouding pain!

Neko could hardly keep back a yowl as the spike literally speared his left should- dead center. Bones were broken. Blood was spilling like a waterfall. Muscles were torn.

~That little... The Cat went through hundreds of curses and insults as Neko hissed in agony. ~She's ruining my host! Damn it kid, I'm taking over.~

The Cat didn't have too much trouble wrestling control from Neko. The boy was in too much pain to care. The Cat was too determined to save his body anyway.

The bodily fluids that were spilling soon took on the unnatural color of black.

His eyes were soon bleached, leaving the eyes pupiless and irisless.

"Coward..." Growled the voice of the Cat. "Jumping off the leadge and leaving us here... Traps like this are for sissies."

Neko- or, rather, Akuma, gripped the spike that had pierced his shoulder. He bashed on it for a few moments, and it soon gave way, dropping out of the would, slick with scarlet.

With his left arm limp and bleeding at his side, Akuma managed a three-legged sprint across the jutting stone spikes. He'd soon reformed the body to his FullMoon style- a monstrous jungle cat with jaws that would clamp around a bus.

Speaking of jaws...

As Akuma reached Tala, he opened these very large jaws to close around her. Not hard, however; more like a mother feline carrying a kit.

As he scooped the wolf up he joined Nynaeve in mid-air, back legs out stretched to take the ground's impact. He might break a bone or two, but it didn't matter too much.

He was a Cat, after all.

Coolpikaaa had only two choices.
Get stabbed by massive rock spikes,or fall to his doom.

"Ah well."coolpikaaa said,letting go of the rock edge.

Nynaeve was only mildly aware of Neko behind her in the midst of her senses being bombarded by the rushing wind. There was little that she could do about it since she was in mid-air. Thank goodness she jumped into a clearing rather than directly onto the tree tops.

The blue sky that was rushing past her morphed into leaf green and then brown. Ten feet... nine feet... now! "Tei seishou tame mai kyuujo... Kaze!"

A huge gust of wind traveled underneath her and she began to slow down, the scenery becoming more distinctive. Breathing a sigh of relief as her feet touched the ground, she glanced up. Neko was approaching fast and behind him was Coolpikaaa. What was she to do?

After seeing what Nynaeve had done to the rocks in front of and behind her Tala had begun backing away as quickly as she could on all fours, the branch still clutched in her muzzle. The werewolf could smell the fear on all sides as the human leaped off and Neko came pelting towards her in a form she'd never seen. Not only that, but the Werecat was sprinting towards her over the spikes. On three legs, too!

She barely held in a whimper after feeling jaws clamp around her body, though they were gentle but firm. She thought maybe the rock spikes hadn't reached her and they'd be off the wall in time... but she was wrong. Just before Neko jumped off, a spike stabbed her torso. Blood poured from the fresh wound as the Werecat jumped with the Werewolf safe in his jaws, effectively pulling her off the spike. Tala whimpered loudly at the pain it had caused her.

As they fell, she had time to consider just how bad the damage was that had been done to her. It hadn't gone all the way through, and definitely hadn't pierced a lung or she'd be choking on her own blood right now. It might affect her walking and jumping though, considering the point had gone in just below her right foreleg.

The werewolf considered her partners wound as well, the one she'd seen as he'd come barrelling towards her, and the strong smell of Werecat blood. There was quite a lot of blood, which meant that the wound was pretty serious. And judging by his three legged gait, that something serious had happened to his foreleg.

~Oh no~ Tala thought as she eyed the rapidly approaching ground. ~He might not be able to land properly on three legs. He could hurt himself a lot more~

The lupine creature cast around her mind for any way she could help, but only one solution presented itself, and it seemed a very strange thing to do. Nevertheless, it should help take some of the impact off her partner.

Tala steadied herself as she stretched out her four legs and twisted her head so the branch was vertical. This way, when they hit the ground and Neko Akumas foreleg came to touch down she could take a lot of the impact away from him, and save him some broken bones.

At least, that's what she hoped. Seven legs and a branch posing as a leg were better than three when falling from this kind of height after all.

Nynaeve mentally shook her head. She told him to put his trust in her, and he did. She couldn't leave him now.

"Tei seishou tame mai kyuujo... Kaze!"

Another huge gust of wind billowed through the forest, scattering leaves about and tusssling her hair as it went by. She watched as the leaves danced under Coolpikaaa, indicating that the wind was traveling underneath him as well.

Akuma took note of Tala's assistance. The cat demon noted her to be in league with Neko- something he could definitely use to his advantage down the line.

He met the earth with a loud whump!, indicating that he weighed much more than the form alluded to. Akuma didn't know how much impact Tala and her makeshift leg took, but he didn't think much about it.

Releasing the wolf from his maw, he turned and gingerly stretched his legs.

Sore, but nothing broken.

He eyed Nynaeve and the pokemon with interest to rival a starving snake's. "You and your magic tricks..." Akuma hissed, baring his ivorns at her. "They're utterly stupid. Fight face to face instead of playing games!"

Coolpikaaa closed his eyes and waited for the loud thud of him hitting the ground.

It never came.

Coolpikaaa slowly opened one eye. He was softly floating down toward Nynaeve and instantly knew she had used some of her magic to save him. As his hind paws touched the ground, Coolpikaaa could see his opponents in front, Nynaeve at his side.

"This is going to be some fight...."the pikachu said, unleashing a large burst of electricity toward Tala and Akuma.

"Playing games am I?" Nynaeve replied coldly, glaring at Neko/Akuna and Tala.

Reaching into her sleeves, she drew her silver, amethyst encrusted daggers out and brandished them. The way she held them, razor sharp blades away from her body, would allow her to slash rather than stab- a more effective technique.

Akuma simply rolled to the side, leaving Tala to her own devices.

"Aye, you are, little girl." He spat, his nostrils flaring at a new smell.

Silver.

"Hah, don't tell me you're going to try and fight me with those, are you?" A grin burst across the demon's face. "If you know enough about mythology, you should know that we werecats are the opposites of weredogs. You can't just expect me to shrivel up and die at the touch of silver. Find the opposite of it, human. I didn't expect you to be so dumb."

"Who said I was going after you oh-so-wise-one?" Nynaeve sneered. "I'll leave my friend with you."

With that, she took a sprinting start before pushing off the ground and flipping onto Tala's back.

Tala braced herself just before the werecat hit the ground, squeezing her eyes shut. As they landed, the werewolf found all four of her legs and her jaw were powerfully jarred as they touched down. This form of Nekos was heavier than it looked.

Some of the wood from the branch had splintered in her mouth, and the splinters stuck to her gums annoyingly painfully. Tala shook herself after Neko Akuma let go of her, feline saliva and blood trickles spattered off her silvery pelt.

The werewolf didn't notice, didn't have time to move away from the pikachus attack, so got hit with the full force of it. Her hair stood on end as residual electric charge shot between her fur, and Tala had her ears laid back with her tail stock still.

~Weredog?~ She thought after hearing Akuma ~We'll have to talk about that later...~

She picked up the scent of silver and before she had time to recover, the human decided to leap on her back. The leftover static from the electric shock was still coursing through Talas fur.

My sincerest apologises to everyone for disrupting the flow of the battle and especially to you Swix. *meekly offers cookies to everyone as a peace offering*)

Upon landing, Nynaeve felt a shock pass through her and she flew off Tala's back. Hitting the ground on her backside with a thud, she did a backwards roll to take off some of the impact of the fall.

Dammit... I was too cocky, she thought bitterly to herself.

Coolpikaaa watched as the electric bolt hit his enemy,causing pain.Then he saw his partner jump on the creature,still crackling with static.He quickly watched as she too was zapped by the blast,and fell to the ground.

"This...is not good...." coolpikaaa thought to himself as Nynaeve did her backwards roll.
