What's With The Arenas?

All the arenas I've looked at (except the EC vs Guardians one) appear to be the same one with the lake in the middle and the trees around it. Is this a concious decision, or is it a mistake?

Seems like it's just something done to make things easier for the judges, but it doesn't really make it too interesting Confused

Hmmm... These arenas look suspiciously like the one I've been using to fight Addman in the Challenge Arena. Coincidence? Razz

I'm getting kinda bored, and I can imagine the same arena helping the judges judge but I can also imagine they're probably getting pretty bored of the same old scenery too.

...We didn't actually assign arenas to the indies and tag teams, actually. You'd think GBE would have waited before-hand, but it doesn't really matter. I'm sure you've got some artistic licence with the arenas, and if all else fails: Evil Man-eating Plant Seeds. Found one and I've never looked back.

Hey, woah! I asked and asked about arenas and arena ideas. Nothing was said, for well, a copule of weeks, even when Net wasn't there to make suggestions.

Some, and I'm not pointing fingers, of our judges appear to be lazy and not posting. The others, and its true made no suggestions, even when the match-ups were finalised. There was plenty of time to make suggestions, but no-one did.

If any of the judges want to interfere in the matches and change the arena, by request of participants, or by their own free will, please do. I just took a basic idea and went with it. You've got lakes, boulders, a forest of an unspken size, and therefore artistic licensing etc....

If the participants want to change the arena, I'd suggest you speak to the judges abou it, as unless its within your power, or progress of the match, you might come across as powerplayish.

I'd made a statement for the matches to start up around the 1st, but, it took a further couple of weeks to see anything done.

Don't shoot the messenger, shoot the judges.... Wink

Sorry GBE, I'm not blaming anyone, I just wondered if this was something done on purpose, or a copy and paste job gone bad (Which could be a new TV show "When Copy-Pastes Go Bad!").

Either way, I shall continue to participate. It's a shame that some of the matches don't seem to have gotten off the ground yet.
