Okay, I don't know how many of you have heard of Tsubasa: Reservoir Chronicle, but the anime was recently liscenced into english by FUNimation.
I've wathced this series for awhile, and I hoped it'd get a good release by someone other than Viz Media. (Which it is!  )
The reason for this thread is:
My favorite character, Fay D. Flourite, is being voiced by VIC MIGNOGNA!
*screams like a fangirl*
I've been wondering what he was up to... Then I checked out his site for the fun of it and looked in the What's New section.
But's it's great because I know he'll do a terrific job as Fay. *points to his other acting roles, most notabley Edward Elric*
Discuss, dispute, call me a spammer and boil my head.

Why would we call you a spammer, Panther? Spam this is not, though it does belong in General Chat (so you've stuck it in the right place.  )
I'm not very good at following anime most times, but I'm glad a good production house got the english dub rights. Hopefully they won't butcher it like 4Kids did the Pokemon series, trying to pass off riceballs as doughnuts.... o.O Yeah. They look JUST LIKE doughnuts. Surrrrrreeee.... |

There are so many characters in it from other anime's!
Chitose, from Chobits is in there, Sakura and Shaoran from Card Captor Sakura, and many more! :O! |

Oh wow.. Vic Mignogna does the voice of Ed? Hmm.. never knew that. Yay! Can't wait for it to come out too... no more searching for subbed episodes on youtube.

You can't possibly be comparing Naruto and One Piece on the same level there Panther, everybody knows that One Piece was dubbed a million times worse  .
Naruto managed to keep a heap of terminology, an unchanged storyline and minimal censorship (and with the more or less immediate release of the uncut episodes, this hardly matters). I personally think that it's done pretty well, but I guess it's all just a matter of opinion.
One Piece on the other hand was totally butchered, to the point that multiple episodes were cut, massive changes were made to the animation itself, and the script was greatly altered from the original. Thank god they ended up dropping the series, hopefully somebody who understands that the series is aimed for people over 5 will pick it up next  .
Personally, I reckon that the best dub I've ever seen was Samurai Champloo, though I'm not quite sure who did it off the top of my head. Other than a minor annoyance with one of the character's names (a bit of Americanization, they call him Jean instead of Jin ), it all holds really well to the original Japanese work.
