The Basics
Name: Gerald “Ricardo” Hendrickson. Actually of a country decent, he became enamored with picaresque stories, slowly becoming the characters that he read about. And so, Ricardo was born. He even developed a charming accent.

Age: Around 39, and falling out of his prime.

Gender: ...Well, I'm guessing male. *Coughlookatthenamecough*

Species: A mere human. Amazing, I know. My own creativity never ceases to amaze me.

Appearance: Ricardo keeps his black hair long and somewhat shaggy in a controlled manner. He wears jeans and a black jacket, with his acoustic guitar strung over his back. He tends to also have a pistol at his side, though he takes it off to play (make music, not bloody massacres). Usually, at least. Ricardo shaves only enough to not grow a beard, similar to what his “creators”, you could say, stereotypically do. He has brown eyes, which seem to sparkle with a mildly crazy manner. He does think he's mariachi guy, after all. And, to top it all off, he wears a black hat upon his head. That's a pun, you can laugh.

RF: *Stomps off*
Ricardo: Phew, it worked.

Ricardo: *grumble* Wow, that's great. I'm so happy.
RG: Yeah, I know. I mean, who better to win it than me? I'm just that awesome.
Ricardo: ...Here, let me sing a song of joy for you.
*ahem* Life is so nice / when you have money / You can blow it all on pointless endeavors / which fade away with time / until you are nothing but dust / and all memories of you are forgotten / making your life entirely pointless
RG: I...don't feel as happy any more. *jumps off a conveniently nearby cliff*

Random Girl: Yeah, or else!
Ricardo: Oh no! Let me sing a song of fright in honor of this occasion.
*clears throat and hums to tune* Oh such sad sorrow and fright / I have experienced this night / like a bunny running from a bear / Who stops to listen to this song / and is promptly eaten.
*Rabbit runs in between them as he sings, and is promptly eaten by a large bear. While they are distracted, Ricardo puts bunny ears on them*
RGuy: What the...?
RGirl: Poor little bunny wunny...
*Bear looks at them and sees the bunny ears, and chases off after them*
Ricardo: That'll do, Bunny. That'll do.

Home
Like a drifter, he was born to walk alone. He goes where the wind blows. Like a tumbleweed, rolling across the desert.

Origin
He grew up in the country, and lived in the country all his life. He read books all the time, and gradually became crazy enough to believe himself one of the characters in his books. So, he does have an origin, but he doesn't really remember it, it wont be brought up, and so...I'm going to save a few KB and not go into it, for all of your sakes!

Personality
Ricardo is a hopeless romantic. He'll seek out the most fantastic of ideas in the most simple of things. He's generally a happy guy, and enjoys flirting with the women. Ricardo is a very jovial guy.

Known Weaknesses
He tends to do what he thinks is right and what he believes will net him the most gain. So, if convinced that a certain action would be in his best interest (which doesn't take much), he will most likely follow through with it, without thinking much harder into the outcome. Also, a pretty face doesn't help.
