It is a picture of the nameless Half-Life character known among fans as the G-Man.

Psychonaut, I believe, likens me to this trans-dimensional bureaucrat. Were the crcumstances different, I would be flattered by the comparison.

Yeah, a large chunk has gone missing from page five of this thread, between Danikat's helpful advice post to Psyconaut's defensive position on banning:

I'm sure some people are sick of this being mentioned but Danikat once managed to hold her own in a sword fight against DP. At the time he wasn't a God but he was an extremely powerful spirit with an entire army at his command. If that fight had been determined on some kind of Level system or....probably anything but Free-form Danikat would be puree right now. But the way things worked out she was able to hold her own through some creative dodging and it ended in a draw.

Essentially what I'm getting at here is that its not really the strength of your character that matters, its your own creativity and you're ability to take advantage of that character and the situation they're in. And you can't get given that, you have to learn it.

Which is much easier if you have your own character because then you can customise them to suit your personal style, rather than trying to learn to role-play around someone else's character.

So yeah, about a week's worth of posting has gone missing, so it now jumps from people calmly explaining why Psyconaut shouldn't use DLM's characters to addressing the banning... I guess it's no big deal really, since this has all been taken care of, it just makes the thread look kinda weird and messed up now Razz.
