"Ladies and Gentlemen! I present to you all, the TEAM TOURNEY FINALS OF 2006! Enjoy the show!"
*Kat flips on a large screen for the audience. The screen looks like a lot of pinkish tubes to start off with, but the tubess are clearly moving. Pics of the teams at their starting places show*
"The setting of this awsome fight is nothing more or less than a normal human body! Watch out for that stomach acid, and don't forget the antibodies! Oh, and have an exciting fight while you're at it." _________________ If people are good only because they fear punishment, and hope for reward, then we are a sorry lot indeed.

The windshield wipers of Micheal's Mech auto-activated as saliva washed over his viewscreen. Micheal grimaced. If he had to guess, he would have to say he was in a gigantic mouth. These arenas were getting ridiculous.
Rawlings clamped his mech down onto the tounge, which was making an ever so slight wave motion. It was enough to send him off balance.
"This Rawlings to all units," Micheal said into his microphone, "I seem to be in the mouth... My scanners show that you have taken up residence in various other parts of the body. We should rendezvous in the stomach, then search for the other combatants as a team. Don't forget, we are outnumbered."
The clamps released Micheal's hold on the tounge, leaving bloody marks where they had been. Had this been a real human, they most likely would have tried to remove him, so Micheal was glad this was artificial.
The mechanized warrior clambered into the throat and began his descent, which was entirely controlled by the convulsions of the esophagus. At the bottom lay the stomach, where he would have access to basically all parts of the body.
Micheal looked in disgust at the mucus that was coating his mech.
"Never fails," he muttered to himself, "I just washed and waxed this thing." _________________ The Dojo Will Belong to The Corporation |

Laur stared outside through the tinted visor of her mech, at a large circular corridor that extended in front of her. The walls were a dark flesh-like colour, and large red blobs floated around her. The red blobs were concave disks, and made Laur think of blood.
Michaels voice confirmed what she was beginning to suspect, they had ended up in a human body. But then, why did everything around her look so... limp? It should be moving around a bit. She scanned her area, both to find out where she was and why this had happened.
Laur quickly shut off the mechs external electric charge, cursing under her breath. Of course, the electricity had electrocuted everything around her when she'd been transported her, helped along by the plasma her mech now 'swam' in. The second reason for her curse, was that she was about a third of the way up the right arm of their 'arena'. It might take her a while to get to Michaels meeting place.
"This is Laur to all units. I appear to have materialised in the right arms blood vessels, it may take a while for me to reach you. I will report anything unusual I come across while on the way"
Laur sent to the other two, then switched off her mic as she began moving through the paralysed bloodstream towards the shoulder. _________________ The shot you hear is the one you don't have to worry about |

The stench was overwhelming. Goron quickly pulled his shirt up over his nose to try to filter the air, to no avail.
"AhhhhHHHHH!" Goron screamed, "Why did I have to start here?!"
The stench of the rectum was overpowering. Too much longer here and Goron would suffocate. He had liked the judges' willingness to make the arenas as realistic as possible, but this time they had gone to far. On the plus side at least it was dry in here. Goron would have taken the dampness over the smell, though.
"Goron to Guardians. What's your status? I've been dropped in a rather... disturbing area of the arena. Stench levels are overpowering. I'll be out of contact while I hold my breath here. Goron out!"
Unable to bear it any longer, Goron stopped breathing and pushed his way through a wall cavity into a blood vessel. Being the master of foresight that he is, he failed to take into account the fact that there was no air in here either. And those white blood cells didn't look to happy to see him either.
Goron decided that he had had better days. _________________ ~Goron~

"You think you have problems?" Sekhmet moaned. "At leasst you can move!"
She was sunk up to her neck in a lake of slime, surrounded by a sparse field of hair. A strong wind was blowing, first cold and dry, then changing direction and becoming warm and humid.
Finally managing to get a claw hold on one of the tree-trunk sized hairs, she pulled herself free from the sticky green goo. "This iss Sekhmet reporting. Lookss like I’m in a nostril."
Wiping snot from her GORON wrist console, she muttered, "I hope you made these consoles mucus-proof. I’m going to be in a serious mess if it short-circuits is a tight corner." _________________

.....ENJOY THE SHOW!!
the words echoed thunderously, shaking both Whiteoak and the whole MAV. They were in a vast cylindrical passageway with a sheet of membrane stretched across one end.
“I think I may be in the auditory canal†thought Whiteoak to himself, as he continued to download the biology information from the MAV’s onboard computer to his handheld device. With a jaw-click he turned on his communicator and spoke across the secure frequency to his teammates.
“Whiteoak here, I think I’m in an ear, no sign of the Corporation up here. Where are you folks, and any sign of “the enemy
He outloaded, from his “junk drawer†device a dozen of Sander’s detection insects (technology), and put them into a carrying pouch.
Exiting the MAV, he walked carefully over to a place where the membrane?eardrum? converged to a connection with a fibrous filament. Taking out a spare communicator device, he spent some moments attaching it’s leads to what he suspected was the auditory nerve, and assigning it a separate channel. Next he seated himself on the canal floor and relaxed into a meditative trance. Placing his hands on the flesh and expanding his consciousness he began to attempt to share feelings and thoughts with the "body". It was an extremely simplistic consciousness.
He relaxed his trance to a deeper, zen like stage, and began to share more and more of the minimal awareness of the body. He noticed that his tongue was hurting and there was the slight taste of blood. Part of his right arm was numb. Suddenly he sensed an almost overwhelming urge to sneeze, but he controlled that. However, the more base urge, to release the gas that had built up in the rectum, was not part of the higher-conscious controls and he could do nothing about that.
FbBBbbttFFFFFfffbbtt
came thundering down the auditory canal, and vibrated the membrane stretched across the ear canal.
“Boy, am I glad, I’m in here, and not in the stands right now.†thought the woodnorn to himself. _________________ Nobody knows where you are, how near or how far.

Still no signal from Till. Micheal was not worried. If Doyle had been inserted near some kind of nerve cluster, the electric field might be disrupting his electric field. But Till wasn't his second in command for nothing. The man had proven himself time and time again.
Micheal's mech exited the esophagus, going into free fall. Rawlings quickly activated the flight controls and slowed the mass of metal to land on a whole undigested cookie. How someone had managed to swallow an entire cookie whole was beyond him.
Looking around, Rawlings realized the entire stomach was filled with nothing but cookies.
"Does anyone know who's stomach this is...? I'm getting the distinct feeling that this may have been modeled after our furry blue friend..."
Micheal lifted his mech foot out of a pool of saliva that was still attached to the cookie.
This place was really quite revolting. _________________ The Dojo Will Belong to The Corporation |

Jho'Lhak had had to take a few minutes to spend casting several low powered spells in order to determine exactly where he was. After expending only a little of his own energy, he had come to learn that he was situated at the base of the spine, only a wall separated him from the spinal fluid.
He then cast a protective spell around himself, and gently forced his way through the wall, in order to reach the spine, which he found slightly harder because of his smaller size in comparison to everyone and everything else. With a final squeeze, he had managed to make it through, just in time to take a deep inhalation of air, extracted from a red blood cell.
Approaching a central nerve, running the entire length of the spine, he places his hand on it, and gently releases a small amount of magick energy into it, all the while his eyes closed, as he concentrates on not infecting the spinal fluid, never mind the body itself. He attempts to cast around, searching for where the combatants are, the bodies ailments, and what vantage points he could possibly gleam, finally contacting the members of his team, with an comm. device that each one had been given before hand, "I am in an advantageous position, at the base of the spine. Have we located the enemy yet?" _________________ Books are source of knowledge, knowledge source of power, power is source of corruption, corruption is crime.Reading books will get you imprisoned!

Till had otherwise been engaged at that point in time, attempting to navigate through incredible folds of some kind of skin. There were fields and fields of it, all the same. His scanning equipment was malfunctioning; apparently there were electrical failures and interfaces from an outside source. It had taken him a few moments to realise exactly where he was, and he came to like this predicament. He was in fact positioned just outside of the brain itself.
It had taken him longer than usual to navigate to an ideal place to fully use this situation, as he had to avoid using the parts of the brain determined defunct, or otherwise unused.. Eventually settling on a position, he manoeuvred his mech into a landing position, and clamped down, causing the entire body to shudder violently for a second or two. Rather shaken up inside of the mech, he had to breathe slowly in order to regain his composure.
Pointing his one free mech hand downwards, several tendrils extended from the interface ports, before a few even penetrated the thick and vast membrane of the brain, they suffered electrical surges, some of which he managed to drain off, or redirect to boost his signal before the entire mech exploded. It was also getting very hot, as the brains temperature increased slightly, trying to ward of this alien threat.
He was going to have to take a few minutes, attempting to essentially hack into the brain and try and use it for his own deeds, in the meanwhile, in a rather jubilant tone of voice, unbecoming of Till, he manages to release a message to Micheal and Laurs mechs, however, if they receive the entire message without interference would be another thing entirely, “Micheal, Laur, I am zituated vithin ze brain itself. I am attempting to accezz ze motor funczions az vell az ze advanced brain commandz. Pleaze zend me your locazionz, zo zat I do not accidentally cause harm to you.†_________________ There is a fate worse than death. It is not me, no. But, I can try... |

He was interupted from his meditative trance by Jho'Lhak's communication. Responding, the woodnorn said:
"Whiteoak here, I'm in an ear canal, using empathy and telepathy to tapp into the brain's thought processes. This is a very simple almost stupid being, artificial I suspect. Sekhmet started out in the nose, Goron started out in the rectum both have most likely moved on since we communicated last. We are still trying to pinpoint the locations of our opponents. One seems to have started out in the mouth, but a slight gag reflex suggests it moved on downward. A slight numb feeling in the upper part of the right arm suggests another one of them is, or was, there. I can't really be sure of the loca.....
AAAARRRRGGGGGHHH WOW that hurt!!! a very sudden headache and fever tells me that one of them may be doing something to the brain.
When I get the bugs in the circulatory system, we should be able to monitor things more clearly"
While waiting for any reply, Whieoak moved over to a place that he had spotted where the pulsing of the heart beat showed a blood vessel to be just under the surface. Procedeling with the plan, he took out the medical pouch and withdrew froom it some supplies and the detection "Bug" droids. Making a small incision with the razor sharp cutting end of his staff, Whiteoak then inserted, one by one the entire set of the "bugs". The would circulate through the bloodstream, taking multispectral readings of everything from energy signitures, temperature, blood pressure, scanning radio waves, to just about anything measurable, and relaying them to the central onboard computer in the MAV, which could then inturn relay it to Whiteoak's handheld devices. When this was complete, he applied the steri-strips to seal the wound.
Then, he clicked the required set of jaw contractions to choose the communicator attatched to the auditory nerve, extending his empathetic field to the brain once again, he began to talk to the brain, in calm soothing tones, inviting it to relax,
and imagine a swinging pendulum,
and to relax some more,
counting 10, 9, 8, .....
going throughthe procedure to place the brain into a highly suggestable hypnotic state. _________________ Nobody knows where you are, how near or how far.

Goron pushed his sword through the white blood cell, causing it to die. His sword thrust continued through it's target, and sent him right through the wall of the vessel. Goron landed on a hard surface, which crumbled like dirt. His face landed in said dirt and Goron laid there for a moment. As he went to spit out the mouthful of soil, he realized this was not soil at all... this was... a cookie?
Only then did Goron notice that he had entered a huge organ, and the cookie was floating in a sea of acid. As he looked around his new surroundings, which he deduced from his limited biology knowledge to be the stomach, he noticed a large hunk of metal. Micheal's mech.
"Micheal Rawlings..." Goron grumbled, "I've heard so much about you. And now... here we are... after that wild goose chase you led me on during the Corporate Wars, I finally get to meet my tormentor. I will waste no time with my retribution."
Energy. Steel. The twin swords erupted from sheath and electronic. The glowing white sword protruding from the console on his right arm hummed, as if it were happy to be in action. The katana emitted a much higher tune, more like a tuning fork.
"Jho'Lak I have located the Micheal Rawlings in the stomach, not far from your current location. He appears to be alone, so you should join me only if you wish. I can take him myself," Goron said into his headset, then, looking around at his surroundings, "... I suppose if you're in the mood for cookies you could come too..." _________________ ~Goron~

Laur reached the end of the paralysed passage, where two flaps of skin were closed tightly. If she remembered her biology right, these should only go one way. and from the slight angle they were at she could just push through.
Laurs mech moved forwards, a little more tentatively. The arms of her mech were brought forwards in order to push through.
As the skin gave way to her probing and the mech stepped forwards, Laur heard Michaels voice.
"Does anyone know who's stomach this is...? I'm getting the distinct feeling that this may have been modeled after our furry blue friend..."
She frowned as she made to switch on the comm, only to notice her mech was slowly drifting downwards. She was in a vertical tunnel now... perfect. Her frown turned into a gleaming smile as she reached out with the mechs arms and gripped the side of the veins wall, stopping her momentum.
"Perhaps... But I hear his blood is stuffing"
She sent, then concentrated on climbing up. De-oxygenated red blood cells and the occasional white blood cell floated past her. The plasma must have carried the electrical charge further than she thought. This... this could be used to her advantage.
As she reached the top, releasing an arm so it could push through the next set of skin flaps, Tills voice broke through her comm. It was full of static, and Laur could barely make out some of the words.
“Mic..., Laur, I........... vithin.... brain itself. I ... attempt.......accezz ze motor funczions................. advanced.... commandz. Pleaze zend....... locazionz, zo.... accidentally cause.... to you.â€
The arm of Laurs mech puxhed through the skin, bending one back as far as she could so she could grip it without falling. Satisfied, she let go of the other arm and pulled the mech up, before quickly slamming the free arm into the next wall and hanging there briefly.
She hadn't understood the entirety of the message, just enough to know what he wanted.
"Till, this is Laur. I am in the upper right arm, Michael is in the stomach"
She sent, then continued her way up. This time, a white blood cell quickly made it's way towards the invading foreign object, but it was dispatched with several shots from her mech, shredding it.
Laur started up the electrical outside charge, though briefly, to stop any more white blood cells from attacking her.
This is taking forever
Laur thought unhappily, now sending the mech leaping up and grabbing hold to save time. She soon came across the next set of skin flaps, and pushed her way through those as well.
She continued like this for many long minutes, until another quick scan showed she was now in the shoulder. At least she was making some progress. _________________ The shot you hear is the one you don't have to worry about

Yuerrk. It’s going to take days to get this muck out of my fur.
Sekhmet was half climbing, half sliding down the wall of the throat. At least the mucus here wasn’t quite so sticky, but it was awfully slippery. Bloody scratches marked the walls where her claws had dug in for a better grip.
Soon enough she reached a junction. From the artificial breathing, one tube clearly led to the lungs. The other emitted the sour smell of half-digested food.
Hah. Let’s see how those shiny mechs handle a bath in hydrochloric acid.
Pushing off with her hind legs, she let herself spiral down the tube towards the stomach. Her flight feathers were lank and coated with slime, limiting her gliding ability, but she still had some control over her fall. She hit the wall with a soft squelch, just above the entrance to the stomach, leaving another bloody smear as her claws dug in.
The acid fumes were stronger here. Suppressing the urge to sneeze, she edged around the tube until she had a clear view of Rawlings’ mech. She whispered softly into her comm. link. “I have a clear sshot at Rawlings’ mech. Give the orderr, and he’s toast.†_________________

"I have made contact with Goron," Micheal notified Laur and Till, "My sensors indicate multiple targets nearby as well. Laur, the sooner you can get here, the better. Till, if you can hear me, see what you can do with the body functions to give me an edge here. If you've got nothing, I could use some help down here."
Micheal tilted his mech's machine gun level with Goron. He flipped on the loudspeaker.
"Tormentor? While I am flattered, I would hardly qualify that as tormenting anyone. If anything, I should be upset. I believe it was you who destroyed the countless number of mechs I sent as security forces? Do you realize how much those things cost?" Micheal said, "Well it's more than you can afford, I'm sure."
Micheal's mech had not moved. Had Goron been deaf, he would not have noticed anything happening at all.
"There are some practices that never get old, no matter how much time passes. As you cannot afford to give me the price in Gold, I will be more than happy to take it out of your skin, just as in the ages of old."
A hail of gunfire launched forth from the arm of the mech, spewing 50mm shells everywhere. Even if Goron somehow managed to dodge this, it was going to leave a hell of a stomachache. _________________ The Dojo Will Belong to The Corporation |

"Working on it sir"
Laur replied to Michael as she moved her mech through vein after vein, towards the chest area. Every few chambers she moved through she reactivated the electric charge in a short burst, enough to paralyse the cells and tissue she moved through.
She scanned occasionally as well, to see how far she'd gotten. She found she reached the oesophagus much more quickly than she had climbing up through the arm to the shoulder. Then again it was only about half the distance, if that.
She halted her mech at the place where the outside of the oesophagus touched the blood vessels lining, using her own abilities rather than the mechs.
She felt this... creature they were in was huge, yet it felt very weak to her, so it was not powerful at all. Two stronger 'feelings' showed up as well, very close to her and another very faint one... The faint one had to be Michael, the other two must be on the other team.
Laur blinked as she brought herself out of it, and scanned the area with the mechs sensors to confirm what she knew. There indeed was Michaels mech, accompanied by another lifeform below her. There was a second reading as well, this one was above them.
Laur focused her attention on that one, Michael would be able to handle himself. She gripped the side of the wall with her mech, and pulled to either side, opening a small hole that sent a gush of plasma through as her mech stepped into the tube.
Laur let peristalsis carry her mech and the plasma she'd released down, it mixed with the mucus that lubricated the throat.
"Till, I am in the oesophagus making my way down to Michael in the stomach"
She communicated as the mech slipped down one last time, and then came hurtling down towards Sekhmet and the stomach's cookie-covered bottom. _________________ The shot you hear is the one you don't have to worry about |
