Twas the Night before X-mas...

*Cloud gets on Addman's bike and that's the end of that chapter. Seriously, there's nothing more to say.*

((*Clonks Addman over the head with a very heavy clock* Fade not Swix! lol.

Who's still on the bike with you But anyway... ))

Fade holds her handgun steady as they enter the clearing and Addman suggests Cloud come with them. She was rather surprised when Cloud jumped on the bike behind her, and she did not find she was squashed. It would seem the bikes close proximity to the rather unstable things that could be found in the Corrupted Cave had affected it, as it was in fact longer than it looked.

"I agree"

The assassin said, sighting down the gun again, just to make sure it was ok.

((*Rubs his sore head* Apologies, my mistake. And yes, it's a very large bike. There's probably a mini bar on the back too :p))

*Addman follows the tracks as best he can on the dirt trail, doing his best to avoid some of the oncoming trees. His path was made more treacherous by the fact that a lot of the surrounding trees had been knocked over, broken, and even squashed into the ground, making a tough driving surface for the cumbersome, yet speedy motorbike. Whatever vehicle they'd used to escape it must have been pretty big to just smash it's way through the forest like this.

The bike jumps over a rouge tree branch, almost knocking it's driver high into the air, but his grip remained on the bars and firmly onto the accelorator. He hoped the bump hadn't thrown off his colleagues, but he didn't have much time to check as he was preoccupied with manouvering the vehicle through the various shrapnel.

A small dirt hill sends the bike into a spin. Addman tried to turn away from the spin and hold the bike, meaning that it skidded sideways for a few metres across the wrecked forest floor. He held his position and grappled with the bike to regain control, but then noticed that he was heading straight for and oncoming tree stump. With desperation, he managed to swing the front of the bike around, and missed the obstacle by centimetres, before straightening the bike up and driving them into a clearing. It was there that Addman saw the vehicle that had caused all the devastation, stopped by a road block of wasps*

"A tank?!"

[Goron40]

"Fiends!"

Goron slammed down the hatch and prodded alakin.

"Now would be a very good time to make use of that machine gun," he said, steering the tank forward.

[Cloud]

((A bar? *Heads down and proceeds to cram as much pixie punch down his neck* ))

*As the bike neared the tank, Cloud jumped off the moving vehicle and unsheathed his sword in mid air. As he landed he noticed a machine gun pointed in his direction, realised standing around was a big mistake and ducked under the nearest tree stump he could find.*

"Got it," said Alakin, as he shot a hail of machine gunfire towards the wasps, Addman, Fade and Cloud and his tree stump.

[Swix]

((We have pixie punch on this thing? *Wanders off to investigate*))

Fade had held on as tight as she possibly could as Addman cross countried on the bike, skidded about and nearly sent them flying twice.

The brief relief of tension she'd gotten when releasing her hands from the near iron-grip of the bike was quickly forgotten as a machine gun from a tank pointed in their direction.

"Move!"

Fade barely had time to yell as she dived off the side of the bike and rolled, coming to crouch behind the cover of a tree. Her ears hurt from the close proximity of the machine gun and it's hail of bullets, and it was only then she noticed the blood that was dripping down her back. Her back and clothes had been torn, her skin scraped clean off by several bullets that had barely missed her, and Fade hissed as the pain from it hit her.

[Cloud]

*Cloud glanced over in Fade's direction. Noticing the blood he winced a little knowing that had to hurt.*

This is just so unfair!

*Cloud shouted out in his anger. He clutched his sword wondering how much damage the gun could take before it stopped throwing out shells of unbearable pain. He closed his eyes and summoned up a wind barrier, hoping to buy himself more time as the bullets were stopped by it. He stepped out, dusted himself off and looked straight at the tank.*

This could require some team work, we need to attack from multiple sides. This barrier of mine won't last for long either at the rate these bullets a pelting it.

Kiba and Cornelius had been running for... um, a while. A very long while. So long, they had to sit down at a convieniently placed StMickey's- around a half mile from the battle. Good thing everyone else was distracted with fighting and whatnot. Both were hiding under one of the indoor dining table, when a scandily clad, overly perky waitress walked over.

"Hiya! Welcome to-"

"Nothing, shoo. I suggest you put some clothes on before a blue muppet crashes in and kidnaps you."

"Uh..."

Said woman soon backed away, wondering if she could go tell her manager about the crazy people under table five.


((Random, stupid, but I needed something for an excuse. ))

((So.. does my life depend on GBE lol... oh dear, Goron if your Tank maybe has an underneath control hatch that you could drive over me, open and pull me inside? Perhaps? lol))

*Addman leaped off the bike as soon as Fade shouted "Move". He too had seen the gun turret, and found himself running for cover under a hail of bullets. He promptly found himself crouched down behind a tree stump to the left of Cloud's and Fade's position. Luckily for him, the bullet spread seemed to be more concentrated around his two colleagues, giving him the chance to slink away.

Addman moved from behind tree stump to fallen log around the opposing side of the tank, hoping that the person controlling the turret was too preoccupied to notice him, and also hoping that Cloud's diversion would hold out long enough*

((It's an imaginary tank... why not?))

With machine guns still roaring, the tank lumbered over and parked itself on top of UG.

"Keep shooting, alakin. Don't be afraid to break out that big gun there too, we've got a few shells to spare."

The bottom of the tank opened up and Goron peered down at UG lying on the ground.

"Aha! Some roadkill! Get in here, but be careful it's pretty cramped. This tank is designed for 2 people."

Kaedra shuffled uncomfortably as the waitress came over... he could see up her micro skirt. Shutting his eyes tightly he turned away. "Shouldn't we..." Kaedra said, implying that we should get a move on, and stop fooling around under tables. ((Not in that way people... for once. ))

*As Gabe is lifted inside the tank he beings to stir from the now non poisenous environment.*
