Rai versus Kheesth!

((Ah, yes, well spotted there. Kheesths venom is indeed based off cobras. So yes, it would be ))

Kheesth had little time to celebrate her hit, even though it had only blocked one eye. It seemed not everything was on the files they'd somehow made for her and her opponent, as the alchemist had seemed surprised. Then again, maybe something else had surprised her... not that it mattered now.

There was that blue-white flash again, this time causing huge hands to rise out of the ground. They reminded Kheesth of her Earth Golem Summons, except they'd grown from the ground rather than unnecessarily smashing through it.

Rather than darting backwards, or even darting at all, the Tezcan instead dipped a hand back inside the folds of her cloak and then threw earth coloured powder at the ground and to her right. She also darted to the right as the earth where the powder had landed rumbled and rose skywards, quickly reaching her height and then going about a foot higher.

She heard the hand she was now under smash into the top of the mound, dust and bits of rock and stone fell off, revealing the small hill Kheesth had just brought into being was interlaced with plantlife. She felt the other hand hit a few seconds later, causing the ground beneath the Tezcan to shake.

Damn, that scientist had her on the defensive now. Kheesth would take the brief moment she was out of sight to think and see what she could come up with.

Rai strategized for a moment while her attack ensued. Her eye was burning now... Damn, I need something to attack while I recover... I did bring a chimera, but he's not that good... Aw hell, I'll use him anyway. He'll be fine. She looked over to 43, who was now napping. Then again... If we both attack at the same time, there's more of a hit-ratio between us. "43!" She yelled out to her creature. It had been napping, but both ears pricked up at the sudden shout of its name. It stood, yawned, and trotted over, its purple fur covered in a layer of dust. Rai pulled out an ivory whistle from inside her shirt. The cord was made of braided leather, and it resembled a miniature flute. She blew into it three times; but it didn't make a sound.

43's head snapped up to look at the whistle. His hackles rose as he emitted a guttural snarl from deep in his throat. Rai pointed to where she presumed her opponent to be. The chimera understood the instrument's orders- attack. It began running towards the implied area, jaws open wide for biting.

Rai followed up behind 43 with her automail in position to scratch, hoping her chimera could throw Kheesth off-guard for a brief moment.

Swix:

I’ve not really seen Keesth battle, but, certainly full of surprises.

Believability: 10/10 - A large snake lady with venom and a temper. Enjoyable, considering a snake is one of my favourite animals. Top marks.

Powerplay: -0/-10 - I couldn’t see any power playing here, took hit’s as much as you gave them…

Personality/Flair: 9/10 - Like I said, large snake lady with a temper. And a nasty bite to boot. I certainly could get into her mentality. But I’m marking you down, as I would have liked to have seen a little more.

Cleverness/Inventiveness: 17/20 - You only used two of your summons, one much, much better than the other. I could see exactly what you did with the Earth summons. A smart move. The air summons, I wasn’t that big a fan off, considering its level of intelligence et cetera. But you used your opponents weakness to your advantage, arrogance, and the blindness. I think there could have been more, but hey.

Grammar/Spelling: 10/10 - I don’t think I’ve ever seen you make a mistake with spelling and grammar. So, no points deducted.

Total: 46/50


Panther:

Again, I’ve barely seen you roleplay, but I can see exactly why you’re in the EC. Quality roleplaying.

Believability: 9/10 - A human alchemist, I’ll admit, I know bugger all about Alchemy, apart from the little my friend has told me. From what he has told me, I believe there’s supposed to be words or something to doing an alchemical spell/formula. Hence why the slightly marked down points.

Powerplay: -0/-10 - I almost thought I saw a powerplay, the knifes. I’m not exactly sure what happened there. I’m giving you the benefit of the doubt as you mentioned metal shards. A little more clarity next time?

Personality/Flair: 10/10 - I was in there, with the arrogance, and self-confidence, until you were caught of guard. Very cool.

Cleverness/Inventiveness: 15/20 - Hmm, you had a few basic attacks, I must honestly admit. As an Alchemist, perhaps I was expecting more from you in that respect. I did like the rock hands as an attack, but I still thought you might have pulled a few more hefty punches. It’s been hard to really judge this, but, they’re my reasons for a mark down in points. You may have scored higher were this roleplay to have lasted a bit longer, as I was intrigued by the Chimera’s use as a distraction.

Grammar/Spelling: 9/10 - Your grammar, and occasional use of original wording was definitely cool. I don’t know if it was to do with your character, as I haven’t seen you use that wording before. But I did notice a few basic spelling mistakes. Nothing major, just a careful scan of your words would certainly avoid a loss in marks.

Aside from that, I declare Swix the winner, and, a first again, meaning she’s achieved the Women’s championship, as you’re both female and had female characters.

As a point to note, I think both of you complement each other with your styles, and are probably two of the most prominent female roleplayers I’ve come across. Lets see you working more together/against one another in future. Don’t rule out a re-match..
