A little friendly art competition.

Well, now that Embri's left, I wish to set up a little competition to help me decide upon a replacement, and honor her at the same time.

Here's the deal: I wish to replace the two guys that currently occupy the top of our default theme. On the left hand side, I wish to have a Picture of Embri's character and her foal's heads, in a granite type stone texture, facing towards the logo. On the right, I want a faceless, featureless humaniod statue holding a sword (point down) about chest high, head bent down over the sword.

I'll be putting together some packages to help out, including the pics used currently in the title, and some of Embri's existing work.

Of course, I want these images to match the rest of the theme in style and concept. And it's open to all who wish to sprite for the Dojo.

I can't believe she's gone... I doubt that any of us will be able to fill her shoes, but here's my attempt.

That's a start Goron...definately a start.

And here's my afore-promised package. It contains the images used in the current system (so you can create everything to size), as well as the entirety of Embri's artwork done for the Dojo.

Also, note the sheer volume of her work. In five months she created over 500 images. that kind of schedule is probably going to ebb some, but it takes alot of new art to run the Dojo. And she was always happy to do it. I'd expect the same of anyone hoping to replace her.
