Genetic Theft and Underhanded Dealings

She pours a little Cognac into the tea, and carries it over to Mr. Tylios on a tea plate in one hand, the cup steadied in her other. She places it on the table in front of him, "There you go." She walks away and fetches her own. She sits in an armchair by the fire, crosses her legs and sips her tea. One of her slippers slips off, and she seemingly ignores this, warming her foot by the fire.

"I would so enjoy having a little more company. The quiet patter of a child would certainly provide a new side to the days activities. Wouldn't you say so dear?"

Mr Tylios now leans forwards a little as he sips the tea, it tasted better every time.

"Then, we should consider Mr Humphreys offer and contact this... Phase and Fade?"

[GBE]

"Hmmm. Yes. I think that would be most appropriate. But, how do we contact them? How do we even get a child from them? I don't have any clues as to how to do such a thing. I mean really..." She takes another sip of her relaxing tea, enjoying the slight hint of the sugar as well as the full flavour of the tea...

Mr. Tylios leans forward a little, resting his teacup and saucer on the table.

"I believe yoiu have their numbers dear, they were on those slips of paper. Mr. Humphreys should not be too hard to contact either. We just have to get some DNA. Even a snip of their hair should do. It should not be too hard"

Mr. Tylios picks up his tea again and takes another sip, leaning back a little.

"We just have to know where they've been. Although from the sound of it they're not the type of people that would appreciate being messed with. We shall have to be careful"

"I hope you're going to be planning a way to gain their DNA. It's certainly not something I would like to attempt. I'm not exactly built for fighting am I dear..?" Mrs. Tylios chuckles a little as she takes another sip from her tea. "I doubt attempting to force them would work. They are assassins after all.."

[Swix]

Mr. Tylios chuckles at his wifes joke about herself, though he was clearly thinking through things as well.

"Of course I wouldn't expect you to fight dear. We should hire them, ask them to take out targets for us in a specific place, separately. That way we will know where they've been once they confirm they have been successful"

Mr. Tylios sips his tea again, taking a little break to allow what he has just said to sink in.

"I have a target in mind, and you will need to pick yours. Do you think you will be able to do that dear?"

[GBE]

Mrs. Tylios was caught off-guard by her husbands question and had to stop herself from choking on her tea, as well as avoid answering straight away. There was someone in mind, someone who she had once been more than just good friends with, but now they were becoming a pest to her, and causing problems that were becoming ever more difficult to keep hidden from her husband.

After a few moments purposeful pause, "Yes dear, I think there is someone I could have, removed." The word killed seemed so unpleasant, and assassinated made her sound like a common crimminal. Most certain that this would not do. "I'll find the numbers in the morning then dear..." She takes another sip of her tea...

Mr. Tylios nods, finishing his tea he stands up and stretches.

"Very well, darling. I shall retire to bed to sleep on this. I suggest you do the same"

Either he'd missed her almost choking on her tea, or he'd chosen to ignore it. Either way, Mr. Tylios didn't mention it. It never ocurred to him that his wife might be doing things behind his back.

"The tea was wonderful as usual"

He picks up the cup and saucer and takes them into the kitchen.

Mrs. Tylios was thankful that her husband had said nothing about her choking, it would make the rest of the evening a little bit more simpler, rather than having to avoid questions. What did annoy her, was the fact her husband took his cup and saucer into the kitchen. They had a butler for a reason. Placing hers on the table by the fire, she turns of the fire, she didn't want to lose this wonderfully large house.

As she left the room, she switches of the light, and proceeds to make her way upstairs, her footwear making no sound on the barren staircase, although the detail etched into the wood was incredible. She enters the bedroom and switches on the light, and makes her way to the en suite bathroom to start cleaning up, removing the little amount of make-up she had on, and to clean her teeth...

Mr. Tylios had simply gone into the kitchen because he was a fair man, at least to his butler, who was a faithful servant. Since their butler had previously been dismissed by his wife he hadn't wanted to make it any trouble for him, although the teacups would have been simply a minor annoyance.

He turns back and carefully moves through the darkened room, making his way upstairs towards the bathroom. He smiles at his wife as he takes his own toothbrush and begins brushing his teeth...

The next day, Mr. Tylios is downstairs, the newspaper for the day again lay unread on the table in front of him. He sips his morning glass of orange juice and waits for his wife to appear.

If they were going to go through with this, they had to call them now. Or at the very least, sometime today.

Mrs Tylios had gotten up before her husband in order to make preparations and be ready for the days task. Having reapplied a small amount of make-up, she proceeded to pick out the clothes she was going to have to wear throughout the day for various functions and activities. Coming downstairs dressed in black trousers with a silver and gold belt, accompanied by a red top that allowed her to miss wearing a bra for the day that has sleeves just past the shoulder, and made her seem taller, by 'spreading' out the length of her mid-section.

She found herself greeted with a nice warm cup of tea, English Breakfast to help her wake up for the day. She walked into the room, and saw her husband procrastinating about one subject or another. "You look like you've made a decision..."

Mr. Tylios looks up, his clean and crisp suit complimenting his look of decision and willingness to back it up. His wife's appearance pleased him, and he hoped she would find his pleasing as well. A clean white shirt was under his dark grey suit, his trousers pressed and bereft of any folds. A black tie hung about his neck, setting off the clean-ness and the business air he wanted to project when meeting certain people.

He steeped his hands in front of him, then put them back down on the table, one of which was now gripping the teacup.

"We have to phone them, today, or we will not get around to it"

[GBE]

Mrs. Tylios takes a sip and nods a the decision, "Very well. I think you should make the call, as you were given the number. Is that the number for the.." she pauses to find a pleasant name for the assassins, "cleaners? Or is it to contact Mr. Humphrey?"

She puts her cup down back onto the teaplate, and looks her husbands appearance over. When he dressed like this, she wondered why she ever looked elsewhere. But, then, he hadn't been giving her the attention she wanted or needed. "Dear, your tie, it needs moving to the left slightly. You look incredibly smart toay. Which cufflinks are you wearing?" she asks as she tries to see where his suit jacket cuffs join together...

Mr. Tylios frowned as he thought over the events from yesterday, remembering something Mr. Humphreys had said.

"I don't think I have Mr. Humphreys number. He never gave it to me"

He said as he moved his cuffs around so his wife could see the links, they had an ornate pattern on them which somehow managed to compliment his suit.

"They are the cufflinks you gave me on our anniversary dear, you remember?"

He then removed the slip of paper Mr. Humphreys had given them, and thoughtfully turned it over. To his surprise, there in a corner on the back of the paper, in very small handwriting, was a third number and the name 'Humphreys' under it.

"Ah-hah. It appears I was mistaken, he has given us a way to contact him"

Mr. Tylios passed the paper over to his wife so she could see.
