3kul vs. Goron

((Due mostly to the fact that I have left JRNet...))

Goron had expected something non-lethal out of the charms, and he had also expected that HollowEyes would strike as soon as possible. What he had not expected was for the creature to have a counter-counter-attack to his counter-attack ready for him.

"ARRRRRRRGGGGHBLBLBLBLBL!" Goron screamed as he stumbled backwards, ink splattered across his face. He let go of the katana, now nicely wedged inside HE's armblade. With his free hand, he reached up in an attempt to get the ink out of his eyes.

Realizing this was not working incredibly well, he let out a yell of frustration, and dove at HollowEyes in an attempt to tackle him. The ink had rendered him completely blind, and thusly he instead ran headlong in one of the giant boulders. As he wobbled to his feet, a thin trickle of blood rolled down his face, mixing with the ink.

considering the time difference and such like. I'm not too sure myself, but I think I remember him mentioning that he might be leaving earlier than expected. But who knows. So I wouldn't get your hopes up in getting a reply before halfway through January Wink

((Sorry, I've recently had some problems with uni that have kept me busy, since it needs to be sorted out before I go (I got 0% and a Did Not Sit, which makes absolutely no sense to me), because I definately don't want to be stuck with a mark like that.))

Blinded, disarmed and almost totally defenseless - in HollowEyes' mind, Goron couldn't possibly win like this. Spinning his armblades a little so that the katana stuck in one of them was behind him as a precaution, he decided to give Goron an opportunity to give up.

"You aren't looking so good at the moment, Goron. As per the rules of our match, please feel free to forfeit at any time."

There wasn't much that could go wrong with this strategy, though HollowEyes figured that it was almost certain that Goron would refuse this offer and attempt to attack him in what appeared to be a moment of weakness. Readying himself for such an attack, HollowEyes stuck another charm to his throat - this charm had proven useful in previous times, and regardless of whether Goron attacked or attempted to escape it would work well.

Goron could barely make out HE's words as he spun with dizziness. Things weren't looking good. Goron steadied himself and wiped the blood from his forehead. He crouched in an attack position, facing the direction of HollowEyes' voice. But then...

"You're right..." Goron sighed, returning to an upright stance, "I'm done.

Goron let out a quick smirk, then realized he still could not see.

"You got anything to get this ink out of my eyes then?"

((Well, that's it. Do you just win, or do we still get judged? Because I was looking forward to the judging most.))

((Well, supierior strategy are nothing in the face of a powerplayer. I might have dodged the ink blast and everything else you threw at me, and if I had eventually made you give up because of that, it would NOT make me the better Role Player... just keep that in mind.

I have no problems with the judges. I'll take Shaon on her word that she won't be baised because she hates me.))

((Hm... I suppose it depends on your point of view. I think that there's a strategy to take down even the stupidest of powerplayers, or at least make them give up first, but I understand that not everyone has the patience to try something like that Razz

. HollowEyes and Little Sister both have quite a few different ways to deal with powerplayers, should I ever come across one Wink

3kul: A master of roleplay battle as usual, youâ€™re primary character, Holloweyes seems to be something of a master tactician. I couldnâ€™t find anything wrong, and thoroughly enjoyed the anticipation of seeing what tricks and charms you were going to use.

Believability: 10/10 - Completely believable, and always coming up with a new way to use your characters skills and charms, you consistently manage to let out small surprises.

Powerplay: -0/-10 - Not a single thing out of place. No powerplay, which is exactly what I expect from you. You took a few hits (even if they were clones Razz

) and Holloweyes rotating his arm blade with a katana in itâ€¦? Ochâ€¦

Inventiveness: 10/10 - Consistently inventive, Iâ€™ve not seen the squid charm used like that before when spitting out ink into peoples faces.

Personality/Flair: 8/10 - Well, Iâ€™ve seen a little about Holloweyesâ€™ personality, but I canâ€™t say it was particularly flared. Hence the few points knocked off.

Cleverness: 10/10 - This goes hand in hand with inventiveness, and being a tactician obviously has an advantage in the cleverness scores.

Grammar/Spelling: 9/10 - Damn you! I couldnâ€™t find anything spelt incorrectly. But, you had suprisingly short posts this time around, although still enjoyable to read.

Total: 47/50

Goron: Thereâ€™s more monkey in you than I think you realise. Consistently funny and always willing to take a few knocks throughout any challenge and roleplay, and even if your character does not say all his witty lines, theyâ€™re still there.

Believability: 10/10 - You were perfectly in character, and the follies of thinking in real-time battle was really quite good.

Powerplay: -0/-10 - No powerplay here, what more is there to say.

Inventiveness: 8/10 - Not quite as inventive as 3kul Iâ€™m afraid, although the use of the boneless arm flail as a strange and odd thought it is, was interesting.

Personality/Flair: 9/10 - Witticisms, follies and the suchlike in full view, although, I did expect that little more in the way of personality from you Goron.

Cleverness: 8/10 - Sorry, as I said, hand in hand with Inventiveness, and, you werenâ€™t quite as inventive as 3kul.

Grammar/Spelling: 10/10 - Nothing wrong here and indeed counter-counter attacks counter attack is quite a mouthfulâ€¦

Total: 45/50
