This year has been a big year.

no, I retract that. It's been Huge!

I personally have a hard time tying together the community and it's state as I knew it on the first of January, 2006 and it now.

So, I want you to submit events of the CC, EC, and of course Blackstar over the past year before the 30th, and on the first, I'll give my Countdown of the greatest events of 2006, complete with Commentary from me, as well as whoever else wants to contribute (sends a pleading look to the local Spider Sensei)

Haha, all right, I'll bite. For you, anything.

Let's see... most memorable moments. Well, it may surprise some of you, but, for me, the most memorable day would be the 17th of April, 2006.

That was the day I first posted in a Role Play of any kind, over on Gameware, and it was the day that forever changed how part of my life would unfold.

I suppose I owe it to the Ancient Forest project's demise, for I didn't want to participate in the general discussions after the breakup of the Delphi team, but I was lonely... and I happened to stumble into the EC vs. Guardians thread. The rest, as they say, is history.

Hm... as for other memorable moments.... The Fudgeman days come to mind (bless those monkey crates!) and so does the Wiki launch, more recently.

How Blackstar has grown... I only hope we make more leaps and bounds in the new year, with a bigger, better site and more RPing fun for all!

I would be the happiest pony on earth to see Blackstar become the definitive RP site for freestyle role plays.

Yoshi trying to destroy the EC (Personally I found that hilarious >.>), the creation of blackstar, and other things that I, unfortunately, cannot remember. *Curses goldfish memory.*

But seriously the date(s) I'd choose would be the day BlackStar was created, the Forum Wars, Tink's leaving, and the day DP becoming the Headmaster of the EC for a short while. Wink

I didn't attempt the destroy it per-say. This is exactly what happened: I signed on as Charling Lord. I tryed to destroy spam. I failed. I tryed to Take over the EC. I failed. I tryed to reform the EC, I failed. I signed on as Yoshimasa. I tryed to wreak the Gardner plot. I semi-suceeded. I tryed to use the MEC to take over the EC again. I failed. I tryed to stop the MEC and restore the EC to power. I failed. I tryed to get everyone to get along. I failed miserably. I tryed to infiltrate the EC. I failed again. I tryed to leave the community. I failed. I tryed to leave GW. I suceeded. I signed on as Yoshi here. That basically summarizes my entire existence in the community. Hope that jogs your memories.

Ahh my lovely rejoining of the community and working my way to somehow be the SiC of the Guardians :\ (seriously not sure how that happened) and the fact the Guardians are actually off the ground sort of!

The day I first read the webcomic known as El Goonish Shive, which gave me the idea for Panther. :3

OKay, okay, I'll be serious... maybe.

The MEC plot being revealed. It ticked me off at first, but as I thought about it, it turned out being hot-damn hilarious.

Oh, and the founding of Blackstar. Wink

I think you guys misunderstood me.

I meant community events of this year, such as Plots, site openings, RP's, etc.
