Embri continued to charge after the insectoid creature, laying down lances of flames between it and the many children.

~GET THE *%^($$###!!! AWAY FROM THEM!~ Embri screeched mentally, focusing her "voice" on the attacker.

~JAX! Reach Out and Down, NOW!~ Embri gave her colt a mental kick, hoping he'd take her lead.

Ajaxon skittered left and right, Caitir clinging to his neck with both arms, crying. ~S'okay Caitir, I won't let it get you...~ He tried to console the young girl, mind running in cirlces as his dam yelled some more. The copies didn't seem to be working - the bug thing was still coming at them, and fast... Out and Down? In a desperate bid, Ajaxon reached as hard as he could for that elusive pool of power, just as Embri shoved them both with leyline power.

With a stomach wrenching twist, Caitir and Jax landed inside the Palace, skidding across the floor of the kitchen and into a pile of flour sacks.

Embri pounded hooves against turf, driving up divots in the Palace lawn. With the two children finally out of harm's way, she had no compunction about unleashing her full fury on whatever this thing was that had dared attack her charges. A fierce warcry resounded from her mouth as Embri blazed towards the dark creature, teeth bared.

Krakh immediatly turned and headed straight for her, ignoring the two for a few seconds. He veered to the left, away from the Dojo as he dodged the incoming fire, skidding across the lawn as he narrowly missed her horn. He immediatly took off again and leapt over her. Slamming his foot into her back as he leapt over her and headed once more towards the pair.

He slammed through the door, it was a little to small width ways for him. So he simply smashed through it.

He grinned at the children. And raised his talons. He would kill them here and then flee with them. The white horse with the horn was providing too much trouble.

Jax staggered to his hooves, Caitir still somehow clinging to his back. He blinked, disoriented. ~This... this is the kitchen.~ He recognized the familiar outlines of the counters and ovens, where he often snuck down for a sweet snack.

The door bulged, then shattered as the insectiod burst into the Palace. The walls seemed to shiver in response, a faint whisper of power fluttering through the rafters. Jax wasted no time in hightailing it out of the kitchen, scrabbling down the narrow stone steps to the cellar with a squeal.

As the intruder entered the Palace proper, the walls seemed to loom inwards, chairs skittering across the floor and chains dropping down under their own power. Two lengths of chain ribboned towards the insectiod, for all the world acting like snakes. Metal pots flew off their hooks, flying towards the intruder with speed.

Embri charged up the flagstone path to the palace, horn first. With a roar, she rammed it towards the giant predator's back, aiming to spear him like a kebab.

"Huh? I dont have Claustrophobia.."

He grunted slightly as a heavy objected collided with his back, it smashed him through the wall infront of him painfully. He twisted and grabbed hold of the horses horn. He pulled it backwards, intending to use its own momentum against it and snap its neck.

He grunted again as he spun slightly, and rammed her horn into the ground, with a force that would kill a Bull immediatly. He let out a primal sounding scream, purely animal at the horse. It had wounded him. But not much, the exoskeleton took the brunt of the force. It wouldnt hinder him.

He looked around for the pair, he could see their traces of heat. He also noticed that she could hear on peoples thoughts. He heard her screaming into his mind. So did that mean he could talk to her. He took off after the pair. Thoughts fit on muder.

~Ssson? I seee no sson. Only food. Ssstay out of this, you stupid creature.~

Embri snarled as her horn hit the stone tile, driving a cleft into the hard granite. Fortunately for the mare her horn was made of sterner stuff than even Au'Marui's floor. She pinned back her ears as the insectoid screamed at her, refusing to stand aside.

Ignored, the chains whipped around the Krakh's legs and limbs, seeking to entangle him. The wooden chairs slammed into the chitinous legs, pots and pans clanging loudly as they bounced off the thick carapace.

Embri wrenched her horn around, driving it towards the bug-thing's injured belly. ~LIKE HELL AM I GOING TO LET YOU EAT THEM!~ The mare screamed mentally, stomping her diamond hard hooves at Krakh's feet.

~Eh? Oo, Nice trick horse.~

Krakh felt his legs and arms snap together. A pair of two inch spikes slammed into the chains around his leg from his knee. They retraced after he managed to loosen them and bring his legs out. The chains had forgotten about his other 4 arms. He brings them out from his body where they had been stored. And brings the talons down again and again on them, intending to weaken them untill they snapped.

He leapt upwards as she charged towards him. He yanked the chains apart and fell just as she was underneath him. Unfortunatly for them both, Krakh landed on her.

~CRAP~ Raced through his mind instantly.
