I'm neutral when it comes to consoles- like Raven, it really only matters about the game. I like Zelda on the Wii, but there's also Viva Pinata and Sonic the Hedgehog for XBOX 360. I haven't heard much about the PS3 games, but there's bound to be a Final Fantasy out eventually. Razz

Xbox 360 has rumble. Wii has rumble. The fricking PS1 had rumble. PS3 doesn't. Why? Sony can't be assed to pay licencing fees.

Hate to see what else they 'couldn't afford'. Bluray drives? Cables? Hard-drives? That light that tells you if it's on, in standby or about to implode?

the best console is the compy.
it has emulators that you can play video games on your computer.
i actually buy games for nintendo and stuff so i can play it on my compy for more than 24 hours without breaking the law.

Nintendo Revolution emulator... now that would be a hard programming task. O.O

As for Mew, you can easily get one onto R/S/E with an appropriate Action Replay or Gameshark code. Check out www.gameFAQS.com

Look for your game of choice, and you'll find codes. My current favorite PokÃ©mon generator is here:

It's called Pokemon Maker, and does exactly that. You can specify EVERY aspect of your pokemon with it. Takes a minute to load, be patient. And you'll still need a cheat device to use the code it outputs.

(Note: I refuse to refer to Nintendo's current console by anything other than it's pre-release name "Revolution", which in my opinion was far better than it's current handle. *shudders* )

Give it four-five years and we'll have PS2/GC/XBOX emulators running awesomely and 360/PS3/Wii emulators at the same level they are now.

I'm pretty sure that was an attempt to say that the keyboard/mouse wouldn't be able to simulate the Wiimote, to which I say WIIMOTE DRIVERS!

I dont really like the Wii unfortunatly. Sad

I like the idea of it though, I just prefer to have an actual sturdy controller in my hand.

Some of the games though are quite good, such as the new Rayman. Ive always been a Rayman fan. Though I still think that some games such as Gears Of War and Halo 3 for the 360 are going to be the best of their time.

Really? Mmm, I havnt seen any in the shops. Although Im already getting an 360 and a PS3. My shelves wont be able to hold any more. Sad

Yes, the Revolution does take standard controllers - either the Classic Controller or an original GameCube controller (which is easier to find, and in my opinion much more ergonomic).

It has four ports on the (back? side? front? Somewhere....) that accept GC wired controllers, or so I'm told.

Chances are, they're right. The Wii 'Sensor Bar' is merely an array of infra-red LEDs, the Wiimote and console do all the actual work.

And no, the Wii does not take normal controllers, or at least not in the way you seem to imply. If you use the GameCube controller, you'll lose the ability to play stuff that needs the Wii's motion-sensing equipment, and I believe the Classic Controller needs to be attached to the Wiimote to function. Plus, apparently, it can only be used with Virtual Console gams, and I'm sure that's not the only thing you'll want a Wii for.
