Type: Humanoids
Place of Origin: The continent of Sapience on the planet Achaea
Biologically granted Abilities: Humans have no specific advantages or disadvantages but do have a racial language called 'human.'
Diseases Genetically Prone to: All of normal humans
Technological Status: About middle ages or so (knights still exist, and so do magic)
Description: The human race is the most populous of the races and the most dominant. Born of the joining of Order and Chaos, they sparked a war that almost destroyed humanity. The history of mortals is dominated by humanity, for they are the most vibrant of the races. Human beings are the standard against which the other races are judged.
Culture: Humans live in (relative) harmony with the other dominant races of Sapience.
Religion: All races are polytheistic, as their gods often appear in person. Not all are essentially worshiped, however, and others reject the worshiping.

Biologically granted Abilities: Has a racial language, Dwarven, has a weak resistance to cutting damage, has a weak resistance to blunt damage has a weak resistance to magical damage, has a resistance to poison damage, has a weak resistance to fire, has a weak resistance to cold, has slower balance.
Diseases Genetically Prone to: All diseases
Technological Status: Just as advanced as Humans
Description: Dwarves are a hearty bunch. With their ancestral homes in the hills and mountains, and their never-ceasing drive to mine precious gems and metals, and to forge said metals, they are a constructive, practical race, given to hearty ale and laughter. Dwarves were originally created by Phaestus, the Smith, but he lacked the power to give them the greatest gift of all: free will. He sacrificed his own freedom by striking a bargain to serve Proteus (now Sarapis), then leader of the Gods, forever in exchange for the gift of free will for the dwarves.
Culture: Dwarves, as their description says, have a rich economy from selling their mined goods.
Religion: Dwarves, like all other races, are polytheistic.

Unique Invention: Complete mastery of magic
Description: Tsol'aa are the eldest of the mortal races, having been created in the distant past by Proteus and Daedalus. Lithe and given to deep thought, the arts, and magic, they originate from their racial home in a massive redwood forest. The Tsol'aa have two cousin races, the Tsol'teth and the Tsol'dasi. The Tsol'teth are malevolent and are the terror of the underground depths. Only a single Tsol'dasi has been seen in millenia.
Culture: The Tsol'aa have a very artistic culture, heavily influenced by magic.
Religion: Like all races, the Tsol'aa are polytheistic.

Type: Modified Human
Place of Origin: Sapience
Biologically granted Abilities: Has a racial language, Mhun, recovers balance more quickly.
Diseases Genetically Prone to: All
Technological Status: Same as humans
Description: Hailing from their racial home in the underground mining city of Moghedu, the origins of the Mhun have been lost to mortal knowledge, though it remains largely unexplored outside the Mhun race, and some intrepid explorer may yet discover it. However, there are theories that they are derived somehow from early human stock, as they closely resemble humans, albeit a tad smaller and more agile. Though they are often perceived as being primitive, this is perhaps nothing but cheap racism, as few understand their culture. The Mhun played an important part in history, having provided the bulk of Nicator's army as he led it to end the ages-old war between the great cities of Shallam and Ashtan.
Culture: The Mhun have an advanced culture, but is very unknown to other races.
Religion: Mhun are polytheistic.

Technological Status: Same as humans
Description: The trolls are a race of larger-than-human humanoids who are the result of interbreeding between some members of an alien race and human women. They are tall and powerful, and their skin has a rather grayish tone to it.
Culture: The trolls have the same culture as humans, being a subspecies.
Religion: Trolls are polytheistic.

Description: Atavians are an offshoot of humans, created by Vastar, the Skylord. Aside from their wings, they are very similar to humans. It's said they reside in Arcadia, a floating city hidden in or above the clouds.
Culture: Atavians have, essentially, the same culture as humans/
Religion: Atavians are polytheistic, though they mainly worship Vastar.

Biologically granted Abilities: Has a racial language, Horkvali, has an extreme resistance to physical cutting damage, has an extreme resistance to physical blunt damage, can leap over obstacles, recovers balance more slowly, cannot wear armor, weak verses poison, regenerates health.
Diseases Genetically Prone to: All
Technological Status: Unknown
Description: Horkval are powerful, though not particularly intelligent, insect-like humanoids. Used as shock troops by Aegis, God of War, during the battle on Nishnatoba, they are fearsome allies, who show no fear in battle, and who work together on a level surpassed only by the crystalline Kx'khrah. Their origin is not known, but it is almost certain that they did not originate on the continent of Sapience, and possibly not even on this world.

Place of Origin: Unknown
Biologically granted Abilities: Has a racial language, Grook, regains equilibrium faster, regenerates health and mana while in water, can automatically swim and tread water without drowning, are extremely susceptible to fire, are extremely susceptible to electricity.
Diseases Genetically Prone to: All
Technological Status: Unknown
Description: The most intelligent of the mortal races, the Grook are a race of humanoid amphibians that look a bit like frogs. The Grook seem to be a fairly recent race, perhaps produced via experimentation with powerful magic. They have no memory of their origin in any case.
Culture: Their culture is rather undeveloped at the time of writing.
Religion: The Grook are polytheistic.

Description: The Rajamala are a race of proud, fierce tiger-like humanoids from a distant planet. The first that history speaks of them is when they fought with the Triumverate, under the command of the god Agatheis, during the great battle on Nishnatoba. Their origins are not known.
Culture: Unknown, as they have not made any major settlements in Sapience

Description: The Xoran are a race of humanoid lizards. Powerful and intelligent, they are from a planet far from here. How they arrived on Sapience is also not known, but by now, they have become a familiar sight.

Description: Sirens are a race of beautiful females. Like Satyrs, the children of a Siren are randomly a Siren, or the race of the father. Sirens are not only seductive and easy on the eyes, but possess the magical ability to seduce men, so that the men will not hurt them.
Culture: Sirens blend in with other races, and thus do not have a culture of their own.
Religion: Sirens are polytheistic.

Biologically granted Abilities: Has the Satyr racial language, can headstomp.

Description: Satyrs are a jovial race composed entirely of males. They possess the upper body of a human man, and powerful goats legs below. Due to some unknown reproductive property inherent to them, when they have children, they may, at random, be satyrs. A love of wild entertainment and women is characteristic of most Satyrs.
Culture: As they blend with other races, the Satyrs do not have a culture of their own.
