Description: The Xacr'a (pronounced Zahker-ah) are Borglike beings bent on galactic domination. All units have a large needle in place of one of their hands, connected to up to eight tanks containing DNA samples from different creatures that they have assimalated, or as they call it, "Turned". Each time a Xacr'a Turns another being, the Turner takes in a DNA sample from the victim's blood and stores it in one of the small tanks surrounding their syringe-hand, and then injects the Turned with Xacr'a DNA along with whatever DNA samples it might be holding, transforming the Turned into a beast with qualities of the creatures whose DNA they were injected with.

Example: A Xacr'a with five DNA tanks containing samples from a rhinoceros, a lizard, a porcupine, a spider, and a human may create a centaur-like creature with a spider's legs and abdomen, a lizardlike head, humanlike hands with lizard claws, a rhino's horns and ears, and a small mane of porcupine quills running down its neck.

Due to this unique quality, all Xacr'a look different, but all of them share traits such as one robotic eye, metal skin in some places, and a syringe-hand with metal tubes running up that arm and ending at the shoulder.

The Monopsyche mentioned above is their word for the collective mind that all Xacr'a share. It looks like a large rotating greenish-yellow ball, located on the Xacr'a homeworld, the location of which is only known to a few Xacr'a.

When a being is Turned, they are wiped of personal memories, but keep memories that the Monopsyche deems useful.
