((*drags Swix into the thread* The arena is pretty basic- dirt flooring, some rocks and grass in different places, a bit of sand here and there. I was thinking GBE or Shaon as the Judge, but you can choose, I don't mind. ))
Rai was shoved into the arena roughly, along with a chimera she had been walking. The latter was a six-legged canine with bright purple fur. It narrowed its green eyes- this was most certainly not the Psychotopian Park. It growled and looked up at its master, combining a glare with an inquisitive look.
"Calm down, Forty-Three, calm down. I forgot the match was today, alright? So just bear with me..." The alchemist scanned the arena for her competitor. She knew this was going to be a long fight by the opponent she had been set up with- a creature called 'Kheesth', and by her photo, looked like a naga-type thing. She put 43's brown leather leash in her mouth and removed her black coat; something she rarely did outside of her laboratory. She tossed it on the ground, unhooked the leash from the harness, and put it with her coat. What was revealed was her short-sleeved crimson shirt and her automail, which was due for a tune-up sometime soon.
Rai cupped her hands over her mouth and yelled over the roaring crowds. "Where are you, Kheesth?! Don't be a coward!" 43 just huffed and sat on its haunches- it wasn't a fan of battle, nor was any good at it. It would bide it's time until it and the master could go play some Frisbee in the park. _________________ Don't blink. Don't sleep. Monsters are falling from the sky. |

((*Gets dragged into the thread by her ear* ow, do you have to be so rough? ))
On the opposite side of the Arena to Rai, the Tezcan Summoner known as Kheesth entered. The serpent was just in time to hear the human call her a coward, and her relatively calm mood changed as she came into sight. Her normally grey-green scales changed in colour, becoming a dark grey to show her feeling of being insulted.
"You'd do well not to call me a coward, human"
Kheesth responded while she looked over the Arenas environment and her oppenent. Bright green, slitted eyes looked the human up and down. They never blinked as the serpentine alien did not possess eyelids, they had a large see through scale to protect them instead.
The Tezcan regarded the alchemist for a little longer with her unblinking eyes, the mechanical arm could be a problem...
Her lower pair of sinewy arms folded as she noticed the six legged purple creature next to Rai, and she pointed to it with her top right arm.
"What is that, some sort of pet? I hope you don't intend to fight with it, it wouldn't stand a chance" _________________ Baker of the radioactive three-eyed flying purple cookie eating brownies!

Rai just burst into a wide grin, staring at her opponent. "You're probably right," She admitted. "He's not such a great fighter, and he hates it too. Nothing wrong with having a little company around when the lab gets too quiet, eh?" She said, raising an eyebrow. "Anyway, enough chat. Let's get this started, shall we?" The alchemist clapped her hands together and pressed them against the ground. After a blinding flash of blue-ish light, there were six daggers on the ground- each made of a combination of glass and stone. She grasped them all in her right hand and kept the left in front of her to guard. Rai watched her opponent with scrutinizing eyes, looking for an opening to attack.
43 cocked his head at the sudden ferocity that emanated from his owner. This creature across the arena startled him, and he could only understand so much of English as to catch "Sort of Pet? Don't intend to fight with it, stand a chance." His knowledge of the English language was just about as bad a frog trying to cook. He backed away from Rai to the wall of the arena, where he would try and stay out of the way. _________________ Don't blink. Don't sleep. Monsters are falling from the sky. |

Kheesth didn't have the luxury of an eyebrow to raise at Rai, since she didn't have a lab she didn't quite understand what the human meant.
"Very well"
The serpentine summoner answered Rai, one of her hands disappearing into her grey cloak. It flapped a little as she removed her hand, now containing a pouch of powder. The pouch had an intricate pattern of blue wisps and clouds on it, and Kheesth took a handful before returning it to the folds of her cloak.
She shared it between her two top hands, then let it slide down between her fingers into the lower pair. The powder gave the impression that Kheesth was holding wind in her hands, and a small blue bird appeared between them.
The Tezcan held it up until it was level with her serpentine face, and apparently satisfied with what she saw, blew the powder outwards.
Kheesth lips curled up slightly, it was the closest she could come to a smile as she watched Rai. Her lower two hands retreated inside her cloak, as the powder Kheesth had blown began to move of its own accord.
It swirled and coalesced, becoming more solid until the form of a ten foot tall bird appeared in the middle of the arena. It had a long, sharp beak and its feathers were made out of clouds.
Kheesth hissed in her native language, and the bird took off, beginning to circle the area.
Kheesth watched her opponent closely with her bright green eyes, whilst she reflected over her last fight. It had been training, but she'd learned quite a bit, thanks to the being called HollowEyes.
On the other hand, her tail was still stubbed after she'd narrowly avoided one of his traps, and it had taken a while to convince the Summons that she hadn't meant any disrespect when using the powder like she had. It had taken a while, but nowhere near as long as convincing them to let her have permission for it. At least this time she shouldn't make them unhappy with her.
Another hiss and the bird began to fly lower and faster, aiming to ram the alchemist in the side _________________ Baker of the radioactive three-eyed flying purple cookie eating brownies!

Rai clapped her hands together again, and placed them on the ground. A large wall of glass and mostly stone rose up to block to attack....
....Which ended up being a bad thing.
On impact, the wall shattered in a mixture of glass shards and dagger-like shrapnel. Being almost right next to it, the alchemist got a good bit of the impact. After a cloud of sand settled, she stood up from the pile of rubble, rubbing the back of her neck with her automail.
"Ooooh, you had to be so cruel... Nice little summon you got going on there. I wonder what you had to give up for something like that..." She mused, giving a weak smirk. Her skin was covered in thin scratches and bruises, so if she moved the wrong way, she'd grimace and hiss through her teeth.
Well, there go my kunai... She grumbled silently. Tapping her hand together once more, she placed one hand on a jutting stone to the side of her. It glowed and formed a long spear with a crescent shaped blade on one ends. She twirled it with her automail arm, and addressed Kheesth once again. "Why don't we raise the stakes of the fight? If I beat you..." She slammed the butt of her weapon into the ground. "You give me a steady supply of genetic material. And by that, In mean animals I wouldn't normally have access too. Like, say, another of your species?" She chuckled quietly, waiting for the serpentine creature to respond. _________________ Don't blink. Don't sleep. Monsters are falling from the sky. |

The Summons screeched as it hit the wall glass and stone, shattering it. Splinters, shrapnel and dust flew at the bird. Scrapes, cuts and bruises showed up where the clouds that were feathers were thin, showing its blue skin. It screeched its pain and displeasure to Kheesth as it skidded to a halt, claws digging into the ground and wings outstretched.
Kheesth hissed back at the bird, inwardly wincing at the impact the creature had just taken. The Tezcan tapped a finger on the underside of her chin as she thought over Rais 'suggestion'.
"What can you offer me, should I win, that would be as valuable as the genetic materials of my kind?"
She asked, the Summons taking off a second time. This time however, it landed between Kheesth and the human, opened its wings wide, and let loose a strong gust of wind at the alchemist. _________________ Baker of the radioactive three-eyed flying purple cookie eating brownies!

Rai jammed her spear into the ground as the bird blew strong wind at her. She transmuted a curved wall over her- much like a shell of a tortoise, albeit flatter. She racked her brain for something to give her the advantage, when she noticed a small insect crawling over her shoe. She picked it up by its sides and grinned maliciously.
The alchemist dashed out from the left side of her shelter, running for the giant avian. She tossed the bug at it, and then clapped her hands together for another transmutation. If she played her cards right, the bug would latch onto the bird by the time she struck it with her palms....

((Hmmm... Interesting... ))
The bird is a little startled by the human running out from behind a rock and throwing something at it. The thing was tiny, the bird barely able to get a fix on it.
It flapped its huge wings once to give it a boost into the air, as the insect clipped its wings and Rai's hands clapped together.
The birds’ wing fused to the bug, and it fused to the bird. As Kheesth watched, her colour changing simultaneously to the many different emotions she was feeling, what appeared to be the insects carapace began to spread along the birds’ abdomen.
The Summons screeched, gagged, then landed with a thud as insectoid legs began to grow out of its sides. The creature decided it had had enough, and changed back to its almost harmless form: that of burned out powder that Kheesth kept in her pouches.
The sandy substance streamed over and into the pouch in Kheesths cloak, the snake woman never taking her eyes off what had been left. A giant insect now inhabited the Arena, stood exactly where the bird had just been.
"Impressive. Now answer my question, or there will be no deal"
Kheesth demanded. Perhaps that had been a demonstration, or perhaps the human had just been unable to think of any way to counter her Summons. Either way, Kheesth preferred a straight answer when making any sort of business deals _________________ Baker of the radioactive three-eyed flying purple cookie eating brownies!

The alchemist patted the monstrous insect, glad with the outcome of her attack. "Well, I usually offer people what they need... I'm not sure with your current desires, so... I can supply you with custom-made chimeras, if need be. Then again, that'd tie in with my end... I'll be your slave for two weeks?" She chuckled- it would be interesting to hear what a creature of this type would crave. _________________ Don't blink. Don't sleep. Monsters are falling from the sky. |

Kheesth stared, although without her having eyelids it was kinda hard to tell when she was and wasn't staring, the only difference between the two was that one was more intense.
No, a slave would not do... But there was something she was always constantly in need of...
"Amulets"
Kheesth said, now no longer staring. She folded the top two of her arms across her serpentine body.
"I require magical amulets, or rare magical objects. If I win, you will steadily supply me with them. If you win, I will provide you with consistent genetic materials of my kind"
She unfolded her arms, and put her hand down with the palm up, tips of the fingers pointing in Rais direction.
"Do we have a deal?" _________________ Baker of the radioactive three-eyed flying purple cookie eating brownies!

Rai smirked. There's no way I can lose... "Deal." She responded, nodding. And I don't believe in such a ridiculous thing, anyway. Everything can be broken down into science and examined. Find what she's using, and I'll win.
She did another transmutation, this time compressing the giant beetle as small as she could. Due to the overload of mass, it popped, sending various parts everywhere. "Well, that wasn't pretty..." Mumbled she. "I prefer to win of my own accord." She transmuted her automail arm into a sword, her fist clenched at the bottom.
The alchemist charged towards Kheesth, making a swipe towards her head. _________________ Don't blink. Don't sleep. Monsters are falling from the sky. |

Kheesth watched, her colour changing to an almost black sheen as the insect grotesquely popped and sent bits of itself all over the Arena.
Her colour quickly changed to that of a shade of yellow as the alchemist charged, now with a blade attached to the end of her arm.
Kheesth ducked her head, hissing as the blade swung close to the top of it, cutting off part of her cloaks hood.
The Tezcan brought her two lower arms that had been hidden in the folds of her cloak, and threw two pinches of powder at the alchemists’ body.
The powder sparked and caught fire milliseconds after leaving Kheesths hands, and the serpent slithered to the side of Rai. _________________ Baker of the radioactive three-eyed flying purple cookie eating brownies!

Rai took a tumble, quickly springing up to bat at her flaming clothes. The fire left some scorch marks on her pants and shirt, and a bad burn on her flesh arm. She clenched her teeth as some of her cuts throbbed with pain. She spun towards Kheesth and ran again, this time with her automail at her side, trying to run the Tezcan through with the blade. _________________ Don't blink. Don't sleep. Kheesth moved her body further to the side than where her head was, causing it to look like a sideways arch. The blade didn't run her straight through, but it did leave a rather deep and painful flesh wound.
Hissing in pain this time, the Tezcan opened her jaw. Two large fangs were brought forwards from where they had been resting near the roof of her mouth, moving on individual 'hinges'.
The fangs sprayed venom at the alchemist through two tiny holes near the ends, Kheesth was aiming to blind her as she began moving her body away from the automail. Purple blood seeped from the wound and stained the ground. _________________ Baker of the radioactive three-eyed flying purple cookie eating brownies!

((I'm guessing the venom is acidic? Like Cobra venom? ))
Rai instinctively threw her right arm up to block her eyes as the venom was sprayed, but it was a little too late. Her right eyes had failed to be blocked, getting some of the venom in it. The rest dripped down her limb and to her automail. The alchemist soon backed away, uttering a loud and long string of vulgar curses. With one eye closed, she transmuted her automail back to its previous state, except the fingers were clawed. Rai slammed her hands to the ground for a transmutation, and the regular flash ensued.
Two giant stone hands grew from the arena’s floor and in front of Rai. They both crashed towards Kheesth in twin fists. _________________ Don't blink. Don't sleep. Monsters are falling from the sky. |
