The Training Lodge (Training Discussion topic)

I feel it would be fitting to the spirit of the fora if I first RPed in the Training Dojo, though I am informed my style is ept as it is. Hey, I'll take any tips that I can.

(semi IC)

Cirrial would enter the Dojo, choosing to avoid the temptation of the Ryft over simply walking the long distance though the glades. He tired slowly, and his only vexation was the climb on the rocks. Too much water could be absent-mindedly lost if he didn't concentrate.

He bows slowly and deeply, his body rippling in response to his actions. "I wish to enroll."

I think I use commas too much, so my speech becomes choppy. Like I just did there >.<; I could use this place to practice new characters.... Wink

IC-ness

Rai shyly walked in and bowed.
"I wish to use your facilities for training, if you'll allow me."
She bowed again and sat on a chair.

as he entered the lodge menelvagor looked around.

spotting the people around the fire he strode over to them, calling as he did so. "ah how are you my friends"

((Only problem I can see with the grammar in that post is a lack of capital letters. Oh and there should be a question mark after 'how are you my friends'.))

Danikat: You're from Middle Earth? I've heard of it, but I've never found a way to get there. For that matter I don't think I've ever actually met anyone from there either. Very interesting.

And what brought you to the Dojo?

"to be honest im not entireley sure. I had discovered a runestone upon the ground in the forest and when i picked it up i suddenly found myself at the entrance to the dojo."
*menelvagor had a sad look on his face as he said this*
"I lost the runestone on the way here"

A small light-blue kitty with a large red-and-black striped scarf leaped onto Menelvagor's head and mewed. She bent over and looked into his face, grinning in her chibi-like way.
"'Ello thar! I'm Artic!" She said in a irish accent, making sure to latch onto his head while leaning over, as not to fall off.

(Well, although I am not new to RPing, the freeform style you use here is quite different to what I am used to, and now that I have finally got around to having more free time I wish to learn it)

IC:

A thin man walked in, his manner strange, he looked around. Upon his face lay a strange symbol covering an eye that appeared to be blood red, it was unreadable to most. He frowned and looked towards the group of people.

"Where am I?" he asked simply, as if walking into unknown places was entirely normal.

The small blue feline leaped off of Menevagor's head, and into the lap of a white-haired boy. He examined the newcomer for a moment, then responded, "You are in the Training Dojo; look around and find someone to spar with. There's even a list of teachers that will help you improve your game." He smiled and patted Artic, who promptly purred and curled up in his lap.

He paused to give thought to the matter at hand. "A training Dojo you say?" he asked while he glanced over the list of teachers. "Well, training will help me in my search, I think perhaps I require the lessons that Danikat can offer. That one on the freeform, sounds interesting and useful," he said and sat cross legged on the floor awaiting a response.

Danikat: I do what now? Oh, of course I'd be happy to help you out. If you'd like to come into one of the training rooms I'll set up a practice session.

A soft creek echoed through the building as one of the three doors to emptyness opened up, and a skeleton walked out of the nothingness, deeply absorbed in thought. He suddenly looked around to realise he did not recodnise the place he was in, looking back through the door, he found it did not lead back to the place he was in. "I must have wandered into a spare door again. Anyway, while I'm here..." MDude suddenly realises there are other people in the room, and turns around. "Well, hello." he greets them, waving his hand vigorously for a few seconds before letting it fall limp again.
