(Team 2: Whiteoak, Az, Coolpikaaa, Klaine, Spook, and Tina)

Whiteoak continued down the hallway leading away from the central temple deus. At the end, they could see the bright light of (probable) sunlight, suggesting an opening to the outside. They could also hear the pounding rhythmic beat of drums coming from that direction

In a clearing in the forest, perhaps 50 yards from the warpsite, Obed found the carcass of somekind of grazing amimal, appearing vaguely mammalian, smaller than a deer. Entrails and blood were everywhere, much of the muscles had been consumed, the head split open and the brains also eaten/missing. There were footprints of a clawed animal, most likely several. The carnage suggested a feeding frenzy

"At least we know they have eaten recently and probably aren't hungry. We should stay aware that there are predatory beasts in the area." Obed said to the group.

Klaine just looks at Azaria. He didn't mean to do anything. Now a bit upset, he remains quiet as he listens to the orders from Whiteoak. Falling in just behind Whiteoak, he keeps smelling the air in case any dangers or suprises were lying in wait. He had his ears pricked forwards. Along with the drums, he could hear some low chanting, his heightened hearing having an advantage.

((Sorry I'm not following excessively. I am still trying to post etc... Right, I'm going to have to say for the next two weeks, you may have to create your own plot developments. I'll keep up as much as I can, but I cannot garuantee that I'll definately reply. I'll try my best though..

Candy shone the torch in the direction she'd been told to head towards. Carefully going step by step, she kept shining it around the corner. What concerned her most is that they seemed to keep getting closer and closer to the strange sound they'd been hearing. Almost as if it had been moving closer to them as well. It sounded oddly like some kind of flowing liquid, moving very quickly, almost as if it was above them, but moving to a position ahead of them. "Do you hear that?" she asks Alakin.

While the group was still some distance from what appeared to be an opening to the outside world, there came a thunderous roaring sound from behind them. It was loud and deafening, the deep throaty sound of an angry challenging beast, makeing the walls reverberate and dust lift out of the mortar between the stones. Whiteoak stopped in his tracks, looking to the others in the group to assess their reaction. He was debateing: at least see what was outside?, or find out what made the noise, but did he want to know what made THAT noise?

Tina yelled as she did her best to cover her large, bat like ears as well as flattening them against her skull. Her arms stopped working to make her hover in the air however so she landed ungracefully on the floor. The experiment made her over to where Whiteoak was standing.

Noticing she was too far away from the rest of the group, and this place being completely unfamiliar to her the human called Az quickly hurried over to the others.

The loud roar made her clutch her MMG tighter, her mind taking comfort in the fact that this place definitely wasn't Wamphyri-esque, hands in the fact they had her trusty weapon ready for anything.

"What was that? Should we... go and see?"
