Blood Debts

[Sephirothsicase]

(( This is for me and Yoshi because I owe him a good butt-kicking from down at Gameware. ))

Seph stood alone, humming a tune to himself while smoking a small cigar.

It was raining, it was muddy, and it was dark. Perfect.

The battlefield that they were on had obviously been used for some horrific war, it used to be a large green plain, but now it had been blown up, shot and burned, and all that was left were bodies, disused tanks, turrets, and weapons. And soldiers laying dead around them.

"HEY YOSHI!! GET YOUR BUTT DOWN HERE NOW!"

Seph shouted out, in echoed around the battlefield in a dark way.

He stood.

And he waited.

And waited.

[Yoshi]

Yoshimasa walked calmly out from what seemed like nowhere. His robe billowed about him as he approached his challenger.
"Long time no see, eh?" Yoshimasa said, "I suppose there is no use in just sitting here, we might as well begin."

[Sephirothsicase]

Nope, none at all...

*Seph grinned and unclicked the brooch that held his cloak on, and tossed it into the wind. He flicked his hat off with it revealing a black suit with a crimson shirt and a white tie. He reached behind him and pulled out a pair of pistols that had been holstered behind his belt. He raised them and began firing at a rapid rate.*

[Yoshi]

Yoshimasa ducked quickly away from the line of fire and swung his staff up at Seph's hands as to knock away his guns.
"You always did have a flair for the elegant and extreme!"

[Sephirothsicase]

Ha, and you dont?

*His hand flew upwards casting one gun away while the other throbbed slightly, he clenched it into a fist, intending to bring it down on Yoshi's skull and brain him. While his other hand slipped the gun back into his holster and withdrew a skinning knife.*

[Yoshi]

"Excellent point, my dear man."

Yoshimasa thrust his staff in front of Seph's fist and swept at Seph's legs with his legs.

[Sephirothsicase]

*The staff cracked Seph on the knuckles, to which he grimaced and pulled his fist away, the hand in which he held the knife though, shot through the air towards his neck as he shifted his feet which meant that his large, leather combat boots would take most of the hit from his leg.*

You are getting sloppy Yoshi...

[Yoshi]

"No, you misunderstand, I'm just having fun with you."

Yoshimasa's legs slammed into the boots and he fell onto his back which consequentially moved his neck away from the blade. However, it also caused his arm to be cut by the point of his staff. A ribbon of glowing liquid ran from his arm. He then extended his other arm into the air and a bright flash of light erupted from his palm.

[Sephirothsicase]

*The flash caught Seph directly in the face, blinding him temporarily. He remembered his previous accounts on being blinded and he had to get out of here. He closed his eyes and leapt backwards, away from Yoshi while swearing all he went.*

Blooming magic hands...

[Yoshi]

Yoshimasa lept up from the ground and the flare extinguished. He quickly ran his hand over his arm and the wound closed. He then brushed the dust off his shoulder.

"Hahahaha! You got cocky! You'll need to do better than that to defeat me this time. And neither of us wants a repeat of last time..."

[Sephirothsicase]

Yeah yeah, I dont fancy having you parade about singing the beating of Seph chant...

*He could just about see now, the world was only lighter than usually.... He clamped his hands down on a small pressure ball that rested inside his hand, and at once, large, blue spikes shot out from above his wrists, they were about 60 cm's long in full. He weighed them first before charging forward towards Yoshi, bringing them both up by pushing his elbows back. He was going to attempt to skewer Yoshi on the spot.*

[Yoshi]

Yoshimasa gave a little laugh... and just stood there as Seph charged toward him. He held out his staff at the last moment so that the spikes were stuck into the arms of the cross. As the two titans clashed, the slightest of breeze rose up.

"I'm not very fond of shishkabob, Seph."

[Sephirothsicase]

Nah, more fond of Donner myself...

*Seph yanks to the right suddenly, while twisting clockwise. Trying to yank the staff from Yoshi's grip and send it flying into the air.*

[Yoshi]

"Hahahaha! You always were to witty one!"

Yoshimasa releases his grip on his staff, so that the force would not remove it from Seph's spikes, virtually putting him in shackles.

[Sephirothsicase]

*Seph lets go of the pressure-pump, and the blades quickly slide back. He grips the staff as it slides back towards him.*

That was rather foolish Yoshi.
