The Vampiric North

((My fisrt RP here, be gentle, currently open))

In a cold barren land, shrowded in almost constant night, where burrying the dead in snow is not good enough, Vampires have taken reign. A world all it's own in a sheet of cold almost year round. Vampires have started to increase in number, and strengths. They have started a large "cattle," or slave trade. Many of the small towns of the north have already fallen to the Rageim of The Head Vampire, the first and lord vampire. There is a full military and feudal system set by the vampires, much like the system used in Europe in the Middle Ages. The Vampire Lord as the king, with the Nobles under him, the knights under them, the serfs under them, and finally the peasents. With the ring of human slave trade in full swing, there are only those who choose to help, to fight, to save the human race in the North.

Objectives:
Short term:
-Release the nearest village
-Free any cattle drives on the way to the Empire

Long term:
-Defeat many Vampire Nobles to throw the Rageim into anarchy
-Defeat the Vampire Lord and liberate the North.

Kat_05 was calm as a group of slaves pass. By transforming into her cameo form (basically a dark wolf) she could disguise her breathing and heart patterns from the vampire leading the group. While waiting for the group to pass, Kat contemplated her misfortune as she sent out a signal to call the Evil Council's cave nigh.

"See ya guys, I'm getting sick of just hanging around the cave. You need anything?"

"Well.."

"BESIDES a tutu. Fort's got enough problems without you framing him! Unless it's for you..."
*Kat shudders as she thinks of the yet-unnamed person in a bight yellow tutu*

"Nothing then I guess. You going to cause havock?"

"Not today. It's nice to head out as a human every so often."

And so it had begun. Warp travel always had a slight risk, and this had been one of those times. Kat had been attacked from the moment she appeared. After getting chucked in with some rather battered looking humans, Kat began o relize how different this place was from normal "Earth" like she had expected to go to. Quickly escaping, Kat now just bided her time.

Phen looked over the top corner of another one of the shacks before crouching behind it and sneaking between this building and the next into an ally way. He wend behind one house before he saw a little (to him) black wolf hiding just a bit up. Phen gently slid out his "knife" and started to sneek towards wolf, ready to attack incase it was already infected with vampirism.

"Here puppy, puppy, come to Phen..."

Noting the knife, Kat backed up fromt the large stranger, growling menacingly. Getting attacked 5 minutes after entering a place doesn't make a girl feel any more comfortable, after all!

While in this form Kat couldn't speak nearly as well as normal, but she still managed a growl that sounded almost like speech.

"Who do you think you're calling a puppy!"

"Now even the oldest vampire dog has learned that trick yet. If you arn't one of them than what are you pup? Er... girl, boy?" Phen asked, still trying to keep his voice down, and now he had to quite this mutt too. He knew that the vamps had just about as good hearing as he, and he heard this dog pretty well.

((Hmm....since I still haven't figured out how my species would react to being infected with Vampirism, I'm going to have to stay out of this one. At least, for the time being.))

Two nobles stood next to one another. Vampirism had changed the two astro's into creatures with red eyes, huge leathery wings and fangs. Each has a named sword by their sides: Moonscape and Night-flame.

Their names are Starlight and Imperis, and they are married. These two are also in charge of a smaller part of the slave trade: they were in charge of a few norns that they had captured. None of them were strong: two dream norns, three bruins norns and butterfly norn. They took good care of the slaves, too, making sure they were well fed and warm.

"Are they all warm and fed? They won't last long in this weather, and we need them to be strong when we sell them."

"They have been taken care of, my dear Starlight. Now we must make haste, for one of them in particular is unable to cope much longer in this climate."

With that, they climbed onto the sleigh and clicked their teeth. Imperis held his wife's hand: she was going on maternity leave soon, and he'd have to look after some more norns they would most likely find, by himself. He quickly made sure Night-flame was still by his side, and Starlight did the same with Moonscape.

Alakin activated his invisibility and snuck through the gates into the village, nearby a group of slaves trudged passed, a vampire flanking them. He darted to the side to move out of their way and bumped into some kind of dark wolf.

"I happen to be- OOF!"

In taking another step back from Phen, Kat found herself jabbed in the gut by... somethhing. Bit of a rank smell, but nothing to see. Kat was pretty annoyed by this point and knew her cameo form wasn't going to cut it any longer. Noting the nearby shelter she morphs back to normal quickly and tones her fur down to a rusty brown like the buildings nearby.

'Much better! Now at least I can fight and talk. Maybe people will quit running into me now...'

Standing with her back to a building, Kat bares her teeth towards where she got sideswiped. Feeling like a complaint's in order, Kat starts mumbling...

"Bloody warp portal. What ever happened to sending a girl somewhere NICE for once? A beach? A mall? Maybe near a kid with some candy? But nooooooooooo, it's always the frozen north or Fort's sock drawer or Net's secret stash of slugfoot's pictures!"

"Ah, not only a man's best friend, but a woman to?" Phen whispered as he slowly peeked over the top of the building and not seeing anything around he stood to his full height.

EnD follows Alakin into the village using his infrared vision and a cloaking device of his own, but instead of bumbling his way in through the front gate, he casually climbs over the wall and onto a shack, which happens to be the one Kat has her back to. He crouches and peers over the edge just as Alakin bumps into her, and chuckles at his mishap.

"Come now, you should at least have enough sense as to watch where you're going, mein gut Mann. I suggest you apologize to this fine lady immediately before you find yourself on her bad side," he teases.
"I would also like to second the lady's question." he says to Phen as he stands up and ends up looking the Predator in the eye. Also seeing that there are no vampires around, he decloaks.
"Quite a towering one, aren't we?"

"Why yes I am, that's what I was born as, and that's what I shall be. It is quite odd to find all these people here uneffected." Phen said looking around him.
