((Looks like Kiba hit ice Wave hard, maybe more words like that might make him leave the Guardians....))

*Ice Wave was stunned by Kiba's words, dropping the water. He thought it over.* Me in the EC.... No, I would never fit in. Water benders are pure defense, they still can use water to harm, yet they hardly do it. Kiba wanted to fight in the begging, I didn't strike hard on that blow. The fists weren't that powerful, I thought he could take the cold....

~Ah, you hesitate. Stunned by the truth, perhaps?~ Kiba raised and eyebrow, then sat on his haunches. ~Why are you joining the Guardians? What makes you think that you are perfect for the postion of Officer? You fight ruthlessly, like an enraged Arcanine. What will you do if you win? Be tempted by the power, and attempt to take over? You can't take it. You're too evil.~ He spat at this last word, tensing his body for a possible next attack. ~You don't fit in here, bender. The darkness calls to you more than the light.~

*This was becoming very confusing to Ice Wave, Curling into fetal position. Clutching his hand hard, Kiba was winning.* Enraged? Cross fire is more like that... however he would never join the dark. In discipline, I'm opposite. He is yang, I am yin. Too completely different things make one, Sand Stone is mix of both disciplines, Ling is like a child. Living long like the young..... Yin and yang, push and pull, Tui and La. Yin and yang, push and pull, Tui and La. What is Tui and La? I never heard this phrase before? Maybe... maybe I made a mistake..... mistake?

~Judging by your postion. I am right. You do not fit in with us. You're conflicting with your own self.~ Kiba relaxed and walked over to Ice Wave, having confidence that he was safe from harm. He cocked his head to one side, and widened his cerulean eyes a little. ~Can you not face the truth, then? You certainly are not eligible for this position. You think you are on the side of good, but your attitude shows otherwise. Everything about you gives it away- that you are most certainly dark.~ He turned his head to the other side, like a puppy investigating something new to him.

I made a mist-mistake, I didn't intend to damage him too much. Everyone makes mistakes, everyone. *Ice Wave looks up, seeing Kiba tower above him. A pain started to erupt throughout his entire body, something is trying to escape.* "I...I made a mistake. Everyone.... makes mistakes..."

"Yeah, you did. You're mistake was coming to The Guardians, when you should have gone to The Evil Council. Have I not explained that enough?" Kiba flared his nostrils at the bender- so many different pheramones was wafting up from Ice Wave, it was like a cornacopia of scents. The most distinct one he picked out was Confusion. Well, at least I know it's working... He mused to himself.

[Jent]

"I-I didn't..... intend to kill. Y-y-you attacked f-f-first..... I DON"T FIT IN THE EVIL COINCIL!" *The pain rising to higher levels, he was losing control over his mind. Ice Wave's appearance began to change slightly, his eyes turn icy white, muscles grow. The water on the floor froze, encasing his feet in ice once more. He bended up steam around himself, waiting for Kiba's reply.*

"True, but my intent was not to destroyere easy to read." Kiba started backing up, all fur standing on end. "Just saying that you don't means that you're trying to deny it. Give in, bender, you cannot escape the clutches of Fate." His hackles rose in a deep snarl as the pokemon readied an attack. ~You wanted to annihilate me. I can see it. Stop lying.~

[Jent]

"I not trying to attack, I trying to hold it in!" *Ice Wave screeched, the pain grew until.... wind circled him? Frieze icy winds from nowhere swallowed Ice Wave whole. Emerging from it was a human in white robes, who is this guy? Lifting his hand, a ice staff created from the frozen ground, he impaled it to the ground.*

"Ice Wave didn't want to annihilate you, neither do I. I came to his need, I am his past life, my soul is his." *The human stared at Kiba, sighing.*


"It seems you are trying to lure Ice Wave to the EC, being scared that you wouldn't get the job. Leading him there would make him evil, having no second thought of killing you." *He hesitated for a moment, then spoke again.*

"From your reactions, cunning, no friendship. Trusting no one but yourself is not a wise move."

~My trust is not something I give away so easily. There are still plenty others that have earned it.~ Kiba glared at the strange being, ears pressed against his skull and body stiff. ~You say your soul is his? Then you must share the same alignment? And scared? Scared about not getting a meager position?~ His mouth curled into a grin for a moment. ~You make me laugh, odd one. May I ask your name?~

[Jent]

"My name is irrelevant to this, but I'll tell you my first. It's Yukio, the snow. I am not scared, this is Ice Wave's battle, not mine. He will need to fight his battles, I can help him."


*Yukio fades away, Ice Waves reappears. Falling to the ground, Ice Wave seems to have no wounds. Yet he still feels a slight sting everywhere, forcing himself up, he asks a question to himself in his head.*

Ice Wave: What has happened, why is the pain settled down?
Yukio: I came.
Ice Wave: Who are you?
Yukio: I am you.
Ice Wave: What?
Yukio: Your past life, calm down.
Ice Wave: Ok, but what is your name?
Yukio: Yukio.

*Returning his attention back to Kiba.* "Do you want to continue Kiba?"

Still growling, Kiba swished his tail angrily. ~Hell yeah! I'm not armed and ready for nothin', ya know!~ He began circling the returned Ice Wave while examining him. He's nigh impervious to close-range battle... And that water of his is his weapon... The pokemon glared at a puddle of water besides him. In a flash of inspiration, he dashed over and started lapping it up as quickly as he could.

"OK, OK that's enough. Break it up you two."

Panther:

Believability: 7/10 - A pokemon. Interesting. You remained within your characters physical capabilities. Although I was unsure of the invisibility and dissolving abilities..

Powerplay: -3/-10 - Again, I was unsure of the dissolving and invisibility abilities. Maybe its just me. You took some of Trot’s attacks, although, after being hit by a staff and several ice fists, you were still fairly chirpy as a character, considering the size of you (I assume you’re about the size of a large dog or something?).

Inventiveness: 10/10 - Highly inventive and original to be roleplaying a pokemon character in Blackstar.

Personality/Flair: 10/10 - Interesting personality. Perhaps you should look at joining the Owl or Fox Styles?

Cleverness: 10/10 - A psychological attack rather than physical. It’s not often, in fact, it’s rare t see someone actively roleplaying a psychological attack considering the fact most people tend to ignore this. A brave decision.

Grammar/Spelling: 9/10 - A minor word here and there. Nothing wrong with grammar though.

Trot:

Believability: 8/10 - From what I’ve seen of your roleplaying skills, and this character, I would say based on past roleplays, this is certainly an improvement, and I think this character might serve you well in the future. However, the control of wind, this does not fall in with water bending as I know it.

Powerplay: -4/-10 - I must admit, switching out partway through a battle was a little odd. Panther technically had you, and you played the switch card. I’m unsure as of how to judge this, hence my scoring on that part. The same as above in respect to the wind. The staff has also lowered this score, since diamond is tougher than ice. You took Panther’s psychological attack though, and the way you roleplayed with that impressed me!

Inventiveness: 7/10 - Your attacks mostly revolved around steam and ice. Although what you did to Kiba when he was enclosed in the water bubble was a good move. I didn’t expect that from you, so, that’s a good thing. But you did seem a little constrained. Your moves aren’t all that different from what you’ve shown before.

Personality/Flair: 10/10 - An interesting personality. Fraught with self-conflict, and of two minds. Not overly confident, but confident in your abilities (Trace).

Cleverness: 8/10 - Again, the freezing of the bubble was a smart move. Although switching out again plays against you in that sense.

Grammar/Spelling: 8/10 - Your spelling has improved from previous performances, but still not quite there. Your grammar too has definitely improved, but it could do with a little more work.

Total: 37/50

Again, if anyone dislikes these scorings, or would like a revote, we have Goron, Unlisted and two other officers who could score this match-up.

I would like to say that was actually an interesting fight, and Panther, you impress as ever. Trot, I am particularly impressed with the improvements in your roleplay, and even though you appeared to be more powerful, you never let that become your downfall when it came to roleplaying. I enjoyed judging this match-up. (As a slight hint, any chance of being the official Guardians Judge amongst our private forums?)
