Ok, some of the mods have disappeared, so we are weeding them out. Below is a list of all the mods, color coded. White/default colored Members have yet to respond, Green mods have PMed me saying they wish to stay at their position, and red members have PM'ed me saying they do not wish to remain a Moderator.

Mods have two weeks (14 days, or 336 hours, or 20160 Minutes, or 1209600 seconds) to respond. If you wish to become a mod, you can also (guess what) PM me.

I'll be posting up a bunch of stuff before I go away on holidays (I'm aware how incredible dumb I sound in saying this but I'm still trying to figure out how to use the special dojo server thingy Razz

Look Goron, some forgetful person has gone and dropped a large sum of money on the ground. Perhaps if I leave the room they will come back and find it. You stay here to make sure that they take the money and stop making me look like an idiot for not following instructions.

I'm still here. A little pushed for free-time until next May, but I did finally start cutting down on new projects, so hopefully I'll be able to be around more (and start working on my belts.)

I'd also like to suggest something, here, in relation to the Mods.

I know most of our Mods are in charge of a specific board, which is excellent, but I'd also like a few to assign to other tasks.

IN PARTICULAR:

I think a Mod would be capable of taking over approving Red and Yellow Belts. This basically means getting an occasional PM, checking out the user's posts. Pretty simple - just use the posted guidelines for Red/Yellow Belt requirements, and fire off a PM saying yay or nay, and why.
Basically a junior Sensei to our newest members - someone who is thoughtful and fair would be ideal for this job.

I would like a Mod (or two!) in charge of the Wiki. This means mostly making pages for it - Shaon is doing an admirable job playing nitpicker already, but I want to see more content on a regular basis, and I just don't have the time.

I'd also like to have a Mod assist me, basically, with making jobs, delivering payments for them, etc. They would be in charge of the Jobs Board, except for actually posting the Jobs. That means creating the Job descriptions, handing them off to me to be posted, then tracking who did the job, and paying them accordingly from a Board account.

Graphics Mod - Okay, more of a dream than a likely reality, but I'd love to have a Mod/User (you wouldn't need Mod access for this) lend a hand in the art department - overhauling our smilies, maybe the board style, etc.

I'd like to volunteer to take over assigning red and yellow belts if no one has any objections. I feel it would go well with my existing duties as training mod.

And as of this afternoon I can all but garentee I'll be here regually for the foreseeable future.

I'd think about volunteering to help out with art as well but I'm not that confident in my abilities. (Although if you're looking for new smilies I am on a lot of forums with some great ones.)

Sounds great, Dani, I'll transfer "ownership" of the Topaz and Ruby Talismans over to your account.

That means you should get the PM's about new belts instead of I.

I'm not sure if you actually have the power to change them, though. Can a Mod check for me, please?

You're much more qualified to select a task that you'd be suited for and enjoy than me.

Danikat can change belts, as can I and every other mod. (A little off topic: Raven was granted mod powers by DP, but she can't access the closed doors.)

Considering that I already have a nice medal for it. I'd be happy to take over the assigning of jobs.

Ohh ohhh! Can I assign Goron jobs? Goron, fetch my frisbee, I feel some extreme discus coming on!

I've noticed that not many of our mods have signed in yet. Does this mean that a lot of people are going to loose their mod privelidges? Have they been sent emails?

Curious that there are no reds on the board. I'm sure I've seen Uncle Asriel, Kat_05, HisLordship, and Father Mac all online in the past two weeks. Perhaps they haven't spotted this thread? Surely the good Sensei has PMed them on the situation?

Looking at the list, the only reason Lordship is a mod is because he is a Sensei, and as such, he gets auto-approval. Plus I've seen him on recently.

Zerrer is a mod because he is the leader of the Felbeast, but he still needs to respond if he wishes to keep his mod powers.

Asriel, I've already had a competing offer for your job, you may want to say your keeping it.
