Cloud vs. Addman

((Yes nothing can destroy the great spirit, well nothing apart from one thing and that's...phew just avoided that obvious pitfall there. ))

We shall finish this as soon as you apologise, or at least as soon as you admit you cannot win this duel.

*Cloud stopped the lightning strike and threw ice balls at his opponent, each one getting smaller and smaller as his energy lowered. This was his final bit of strength before he had to rest in the comfort of his body. He glanced over at where it was, hoping it wasn't too damaged by Addman's previous charged attack to render it useless.*

*His sword sliced straight through thin air, not even making Cloud flinch. As Addman descended towards the ground at the end of his jump, a ball of ice came hurtling down from the sky, hitting him straight on the head and forcing him to skid across the arena floor. Before the dust even settled, a few more ice balls began to hit the floor around him as Cloud continued the onslaught.

Trying to roll to the side, another icy cold sphere made impact with his chest, knocking the wind out of him, as a smaller one hit him on the right shoulder, not as strongly as the other two, but still enough to pack a painful punch. He screaming in pain for a few moments, the hit to the head had him dazed and confused and for the moment he had no idea where he was. His vision still blurred, Addman attempted to climb to his feet, but stumbled slightly over his own leg.

A raw instinct from within helped the muppet clambour to a standing position. Although his pride had taken as much of a beating as his soft body, it was still alive, burning inside him. Defeat was not an option, and apologies are best saved for after his opponents are dead*

Apologise? Fine! I'm sorry I've had to spend my time messing around with scum like you!

*With that, Addman charged at Cloud once more, attempting a leaping strike with his outstretched sword. Although he knew the physical attack would not phase him, it may distract Cloud long enough for Addman to come up with a plan*

*Cloud was exhausted, he made a bee-line to his body and re entered it. He got up haphazardly, leaning on his own sword for support. The anger burned within him, he was in a fair amount of pain but he cast that aside. The only thing that kept him going was the thought of Addman's corpse on the floor, unmoving.*

*Addman realised how lucky he was that Cloud had returned to his body. It appeared to be pretty torn up from the blast before, so Addman figured he may had a good opportunity to get back into the fight after the previous setbacks. Realising this, in his mind he had already won the battle, and his cocky nature came to the surface*

You're too tired to fight me anymore! You might as well give up now, it's pointless! More pointless than that Magic Dance (TM) that you perform as your party piece!

*Noticing that Cloud still looked pretty determined, Addman pushed his luck even further. He held his arms out at his side as though he was offering Cloud a chance to strike*

See if you can still hit me in that worn out body of yours.

((By the way, are we going to get someone to judge this at some point? If so, when, and who, and what, and why? Or maybe just When and Who.))

((Who knows, the insanity challenge never got judged so if they judge this one is anyones guess. ))

No one disses the Magic Dance (TM)!

*With that Cloud ran with all his might, his sword in his right hand trailing at his side. At the last minute Cloud grabbed his sword with both hands and struck out in Addman's direction with all of his might.*

*Addman's cockiness had gotten the better of him as Cloud came charging towards him at full speed. Obviously that Magic Dance (TM) remark had hit a raw nerve as Addman barely had enough time to block the attack with his weapon. The blades rattled as they collided, but Cloud's momentum pushed Addman over onto his back. The muppet thought fast, placing his hands behind him and pushing himself back up, aiming a two-footed kick at Cloud's midriff*

((I'd say it has been going on for a while already, do you want to call it a day? It's not because I'm losing the battle, honest. ))

*Cloud fell back but turned it into a stylish backflip to land back on his feet again. He staggered slightly but appeared unharmed even though he was seriously hurt. If it wasn't for his opponent he probably would have collapsed where he stood.*

Judging Time !

I have to admit this was pretty fun to read through, and now here are your scorings:

Cloud:

Believability: 9/10- I’m not too sure about the wind and sword attack at the same time, however you got knocked about a fair bit. Your completely losing track of your body while in spirit form and concentrating on an attack was very believable, as well as starting to lose your energy.

Powerplay: 0/-10. I can’t see any problems with this

Inventiveness: 8/10 – I liked the way you set up getting the characters together and to the Arena, and your double-barrel attack to Addmans spinning helicopter one was pretty impressive.

Personality/Flair: 8/10- High marks for this due to your characters comments to each other during the fight, and not giving up.

Cleverness: 9/10 – Switching tactics when your weapon was stuck by pulling your spirit form out of your body was a good move, confusing your opponent by giving them two targets, as well as giving you more attacks.

Grammer/Spelling: 9/10- A few missing words and grammatical errors, but not enough to warrant a lower scoring.

Total: 43/50

Addman:

Believability: 10/10 – From what I’ve seen of your character, and drawing on my own experience of fighting you I see no problems with your believability. Addman attempting to attack Clouds spirit form as the character didn’t know he couldn’t hurt him was a good example of this.

Powerplay: 0/-10 – I saw no problems with this.

Inventiveness: 9/10 – Using the wall as a springboard and the spinning attack were mostly what impressed me with this.

Personality/Flair: 9/10 – Again, high marks for this. Your characters comments and his general attitude to the whole thing, especially after seeing Cloud tired, made me chuckle.

Cleverness: 9/10 – The spinning blade, and going directly beneath the spirit so you wouldn’t get hit by the lightning were good examples.

Grammer/Spelling: 8/10 – A couple missed words mainly, seemed to get worse as the fight progressed. However nothing major for me to grumble about
