Up for grabs is the final slot for the officers... things... may the best Guardian win.

You're in a large, empty-ish arena. We'll give you a week, no other rules. And will everyone else stay the hell out? Razz

*Ice Wave walks into the room, several pouches of water to access, his lunar locket around his neck. Early, Ice Wave chose his white outfit for more moveability. He waits for his challenger.*

A tan and brown striped ferret-creature with a large black collar scampered into the room. He stopped twenty feet away from his challenger and stood on his hind legs, both forelegs pressed against his chest in a meerkat-esque pose. Cocking his head to one side, he looked Ice Wave straight in the eye. "You're the one I'm supposed to be fighting, right?" He went back to being a quadruped. "I can tell just by looking at you- you're one of the Guardians. Like myself." He shook his whole body as a wet dog might, the slipped one claw under his jangling collar. The pokemon retrieved a red switchblade, which he promptly pressed the grip. A sharp, long blade sprung out of the side. He pointed it at Ice Wave and slitted his large blue eyes. "Well, we better get this done and over with, then?"

Kiba placed the switchblade it his mouth and dashed towards his opponent at an alarming rate. He leapt into the air and snatched his blade out from his mouth, raising it to strike Ice Wave.

((Shouldn't we do this in the Challenge Arena? Razz

*Ice Wave extracted some water out of his pouches, bringing past boiling point, steam engulfed the arena. The steam will conceal him until it vanishes, still he wasn't frightened yet. Doing a back flip to dodge Kida, Ice Wave encased his legs in ice to provide better balance.

"A weapon, I'll need one too."

*Forming a staff three foot staff, hard as diamond. Ice Wave jabbed at Kiba's chest, not deadly though.*

Kiba was blinded by the sudden haze, and before he could strike, Ice Wave vanished. The thrust to his chest sent his tumbling backwards onto the floor, where he lay stunned for a moment. He shook his head and closed the switchblade, returning it to its place under his collar. He dug his claws as much as he could into to floor to get a grip, then galloped forward. He dashed to where he presumed his opponent to be and jumped again. This time, however, his eyes turned bright green, and his claws became unusually long and tube-like. If he landed, he would dig his nails into Ice Wave and commence Body-Snatching.

*The steam started to return to a liquid state, then seeing Kiba coming towards him. Thinking fast, Ice Wave hoisted the water from the ground, reshaping into a blob of water. From the floating water, Ice Wave launched several ice fists at Kiba.*

"What move were you trying to strike me with Kiba?"

*Spreading the rest of the levitating water on the ground, saving it for something else.*

Kiba took a deep breath before the fists punched him in various places. He ended up falling directly into the blob- not a good idea.

~Heh, why should I tell you? To give you more ways to block my attacks? Let's just say it would have been... Interesting....~

He glared at the bender, eyes and claws returned to normal. Water is his element... Kiba thought to himself. Now, what would happen if he was an Azumarill? Or a Magikarp? I need to get out of this... Or do I? His face broke into an immediate grin. His body seemed to dissolve in the water, bit by bit. Soon, there was nothing left of him except of few bubbles.

~Where am I now, kiddo? Eh?~ He shouted tauntingly at Ice Wave.

"That's fine with me." *Said Ice Wave, showing no emotion. Upon seeing Kiba dissolved into the water, Kiba must be planning something.*

~Where am I now, kiddo? Eh?~ "I wonder why you became with the water, it makes it easier to bend you."

*Doing a demonstration, Ice Wave stepped back away from the water splattered across the floor. By bending he lifted the water, lowering it's temperature past freezing point.*

"Are hidden here in this batch, or another?"

Kiba mentally sweared to himself. He hadn't expected this at all... If only he'd taken up the chance to learn electric-type attacks when he could. He splashed his arms around frantically as the water chilled him to the bone- Linoones aren't exactly suited to cold weather. As the tiny air pockets rose from his flailing arms, he attempted another plan- one involving the most annoying and painful of his abilities.

He 'swam' in the water quickly, creating many bubbles. Before they could reach the surface, Kiba squeezed himself through several of them, creating one large one with an invisible linoone inside. He rejoiced as his head struck air again, scrambling to free himself of the liquids. Once he fell on the floor in a heap, the invisiblity wore off. Kiba snorted and ran thirty feet away from Ice Wave, trying to get as much distance as possible between him and the bender.

~Why are we fighting for this? Are we a rouwdyy bunch of nitwits like the Evil Council, ready to destroy anyone to get what they want? Is this what The Guardians are about? Fighting for power like a pack of starving Mightyena over a scrap of meat?~ He skidded to a stop, facing Ice Wave with a smirk. ~Your malicous intents are intriguing, bender. Why not run off with your tail between your legs to the peanut gallery that call themself a Council of Evil? You are certainly not suited for a rank in The Guardians.~
