((I just found this on my desktop while cleaning it of various .Net framework installers and the like. I'm not expecting it to be included in the judgement, just thought you'd all like to see it.))
Quite randomly, and surprisingly to all, except one man falling from the sky and anyone who didn't see it, ROSE split in half and began leaking such a volume of liquid veal* everywhere that the flying rocks never managed to hit her. Anyway, the rocks that came close were suddenly infected with depression caused by the liquid paper and decided to implode.
The man falling from the sky was totally irrelevant ^ and quickly died once he hit the ground. The top half of ROSE rebooted into a lite version of her OS designed for fixing problems, but she was unfortunately run over by a several-tonne truck before she could fix herself. The truck was being driven by someone who was asleep, so it was no surprise that they were in the arena. The continued bombardierment of the rocks managed to wake the driver, who turned out to be Norn Albion.
"...CRAAAAAAP", his voice was loud, yet hoarse. He looked at the truck's GPS. He wasn't anywhere, apparently. "....CRAAAAAAAP", he boomed out again, "...Oh wait. What the hell? I'm driving a truck. Oookay." He smashed the windscreen and jumped through it. He put his hand out, and a chair appeared in front of him, which he sat on, then put his hand up in the air. A translucent metal dome appeared around him and his chair.
By this time, ROSE was now back into two pieces, and rebooting again. Eventually she managed to piece herself together, and sit on Norn's dome.
"Shoo, sapient box! Damn you, irritation!"
ROSE used her hologram projector and some tricky vertex math to place a hologram into Norn's dome. It was a human female, holding up some holographic cards.
| Code: |
"Hey, it's me.
ROSE, remember?"
"AL created me.
He says you call"
"him AL37?"
|
Norn put his hand out, and a clipboard appeared in it, while a pen appeared behind his ear. He scribbled on the clipboard, levitating it so that ROSE's optical sensors could see it.
"Yes, I know him. Prove your identity."
The holographic woman changed to ROSE's infopanel.
"R.O.S.E. OS Version 1.5
Responsive Offensive Sentient Emulation
ONLINE - internal temp. 20 C
external temp. 23 C
Repair status 85%
Created by Al200002, of the EC"
Norn scribbled again, "Okay. Good enough."
He put his hand into the dome, and it disappeared from sight. ROSE fell to the ground, extending her legs to remain standing.
"Thank you," her speaker 'said'.
She protruted a gun attachment and began rapidly firing towards towards Panther. Unfortunately the being-blown-to-smithereens had clogged her weaponry with mud, so several mud-encased bullets made their way slowly towards Panther.
*As we all know, ROSE is powered by a fusion reactor, which is of course powered by young deer meat
^If anyone wishes to know though, his name was Jimbob Joans LXXXXV (85th) and he lived in a shack on the side of a mountain until the FBI realised he was illegaly downloading illegal pictures of people doing illegal things _________________ ...And that's how it ended. |

Cloud: All I can say is evil sausages and surfboarding on plane doors. Genius! Honour in the insanity thread? Coming to 3kul’s defence on the most original mode of transportation ever invented And an extremely pointless post on page two. That had no reason existing had me chuckling.
Believability: -0/-10 - If it were possible to remove all believability completely, and use it as some kind of weapon, I’d have you on some kind of speed dial.
Powerplay: -0/-10 - I can’t see anything that was powerplayish.
Inventiveness: 10/10 - Highly inventive, considering the cupboard. That was just genius.
Personality/Flair: 10/10 - Insane, inane, mad, crazy, illogical and honourable. I think everythings there. Perhaps you should the God of Insanity. You certainly seem to have the knack for it.
Cleverness: 10/10 - Well, you did set up the thread, in which some of the single most funniest posts have been posted in the history of posting.
Grammar/Spelling: 10/10 - I couldn’t find anything wrong. Everything appears to be in order here.
Total: 40/40
Addman: Paralysed donkeys pulling you by their teeth? Gutting, and innards and flying squirrels. Nothing but chuckles. Distracted by a beetle. I almost wet myself laughing.
Believability: -0/-10 - Within character, and as insane as ever. Certainly no problems here.
Powerplay: -0/-10 - None at all.
Inventiveness: 10/10 - Incredibly inventive using a beetle as an excuse for not being around.
Personality/Flair: 10/10 - As usual, what I’d expect from you, with added humour..
Cleverness: 8/10 - You were missing for a while, even though your excuse was a class act, still, I would have liked to have seen more.
Grammar/Spelling: 10/10 - Better than 3kul’s. Be proud..
Total: 38/40
AL37: Pure madness. Escaping teeth, and pointless French. Skateboard rifles?
Believability: -2/-10 - I know nothing about you, your characters or anything like that, so it’s fairly hard for me to judge. Hence the minus points.
Powerplay: -0/-10 - None..
Inventiveness: 10/10 - Plenty..
Personality/Flair: 8/10 - Again, I’m not too sure about you, your style or your characters. As far as I could see though, you were spot on.
Cleverness: 8/10 - Not so much as insane as others. You responded well to others actions, but added little your self.
Grammar/Spelling: 10/10 - Considering there was little to scrutinize, I couldn’t find anything wrong.
Total: 34/40
3kul: Non-English speaking English speaking dutch flowers. Insane chest explosions. And, THE WINDMILLS! Gopher cans - what can I say..? And Jellybeans..? Bwahahahaha! Bowler hats and cats. That rhymes
Believability: -0/-10 - You stretched the realms of reality, and I think they’re still settling back into position.
Powerplay: -0/-10 - 3kul, Powerplay. Are you insane..?
Inventiveness: 10/10 - Always got some trick up your sleeve. No matter what you’re roleplaying to, your always inventive, and always funny.
Personality/Flair: 10/10 - Multi-layered..
Cleverness: 10/10 - Probably one of the smartest roleplayers on blackstar in character. Out of character, who knows. Do you live in an asylum..?
Grammar/Spelling: 9/10 -I found one spelling mistake! Do you know how good that feels. Ahhhh. Even for a general round of insanity, you still construct mini story arcs. I think someone has an obsession.
Total: 39/40
Panther385: Toast? And merciless crowd slaughter? Heheh. Gold is worthless, original to say the least.
Believability: -0/-10 - Very funny. Always trying to get a kick out of something.
Powerplay: -0/-10 - I couldn’t find any evidence of this.
Inventiveness: 8/10 - Certainly inventive, not quite as much as the others though.
Personality/Flair: 10/10 - Definitely what I’ve read before, if a little more insane, considering the roleplay, that’s a good thing.
Cleverness: 8/10 - Again, a talented roleplayer, but the show was stolen by others.
Grammar/Spelling: 8/10 - Some basic spelling mistakes. Nothing too major.
Total: 34/40
SFOT:
Believability: -4/-10 - Not quite as insane as the others. Still, there’s what I’ve come to expect from you, which I’m not sure is a good thing or not..
Powerplay: -0/-10 - There was no powerplaying as far as I could see..
Inventiveness: 7/10 - I could definitely see the effort, but perhaps it’s just me, but I didn’t find your posts all that amusing.
Personality/Flair: 7/10 - Again, the same reasons as above.
Cleverness: 7/10 - Not the most talented roleplayer in blackstar, but, you’re still here, giving it your best shot. Keep working at it!
Grammar/Spelling: 6/10 - Some grammatical and spelling errors.
Total: 27/40
DarkPsycho: Monkey genocide?! And Wombat Cannons a la your chest. I’m not sure you ever were sane!
Believability: -0/-10 - Well, I’ve not really seen you unleash the insane side of yourself. You certainly have fought valiantly for your title as God of Insanity. You definitely broke reality which is always interesting.
Powerplay: -0/-10 - The admin of blackstar powerplay. Nevah!
Inventiveness: 8/10 - What’s going on, you were out done by a blue muppet and a beetle. Someone’s rusty
Personality/Flair: 10/10 - You did have me in stitches though, killing monkeys and firing wombats..
Cleverness: 8/10 - Again, you were outdone by a few others DP.
Grammar/Spelling: 10/10 - I couldn’t find anything wrong with either.
Total: 36/40
Drlupinmario:
Believability: -4/-10 - Uhm, nothing particularly insane with your posts. In fact, you remained fairly believable in one way or another..
Powerplay: -0/-10 - There was no power playing on your behalf here.
Inventiveness: 6/10 - Not the most inventive uses of your characters or roleplay ideas. I would have liked to have seen better ideas and more reactions to what others had posted previously. None of your posts really seemed to link to each other either.
Personality/Flair: 6/10 - Not something that gripped me or made me laugh at all. I don’t know if you were trying to be funny or trying too hard, or were you roleplaying seriously? I really couldn’t tell. This is what I’ve come to expect from you. I hope you to take this constructively, and improve, you have potential.
Cleverness: 6/10 - Greatly out-done by the rest of the posters within this thread..
Grammar/Spelling: 7/10 - There is some particularly bad grammar. The spelling isn’t nearly so bad though.
Total: 21/40
Trot84:
Believability: -4/-10 - Hmm. I think you gave it your best shot, but at the moment, this is not your style.
Powerplay: -0/-10 - None that I could find..
Inventiveness: 6/10 - Again, I think you tried, but nothing gripped me by the shoulders and shook me..
Personality/Flair: 6/10 - What I’ve come to expect of you. Again, not entirely sure if this is good or bad. With a bit more effort and practice, you’ll be great in no time.
Cleverness: 7/10 - You were outdone by your fellow roleplayers in this thread.
Grammar/Spelling: 7/10 - A few mistakes here and there, namely the structure of your sentences. Not a single paragraph there. A little training, and you might be up to scratch.
Total: 24/40
UnlistedGabriel:
Believability: -2/-10 - Well, uhm, one post. I guess that’s insane enough for me. It included eggs, and pans. Certainly a comedic set-up if anyone knows anything about comedy.
Powerplay: -0/-10 - Well, none in an entire post. Bravo!
Inventiveness: 8/10 - You were new to the site/late to the rp, no excuses, just eggs. Well..
Personality/Flair: 8/10 - I don’t know how to judge you for this score, considering I have no idea as to your style, skill level and such-like.
Cleverness: 8/10 - Again, lateness, no excuses, and the same reasons as above.
Grammar/Spelling: 10/10 - I found nothing wrong on this front..
Total: 32/40
In case anyone is wondering about the scoring for believability, this has been purposely inverted to a minus score for this thread alone, as this thread was based on insanity. The more insane you were, the better the score. Your character being believable or unbelievable in that case also helped if you get my meaning.
If anyone has any problems with my scoring, you may find an independent judge should you so wish. Otherwise, I declare Cloud the winner of this challenge.

Woo! I'm the second most insane!
Seriously, I'm stoked that I beat a couple of people that I always thought were even zanier than myself (take that older generation, even though you're roughly the same age as me! ), and I'm glad that it's judged on quality and not quantity, because after my brain started melting out of my ears from reading this thread I gave up and decided to wait until judgement day.
Kudos to you Cloud, truely you deserve to be locked up in the nut house for most or all of your life (try to take this as a compliment).
... Wait, I just realized that I lost by a single spelling mistake. Dammit, way to have my constant nit-picking come back to bite me in the ass . And yes GBE, I do have an obsession with making stories (unfortunately for me it's not with making decent stories ). _________________ If I'm not here, I'm probably over at...

Now I know never, EVER to trust myself spell-checking my posts. I'm still happy with my score, though.

I came third because I was absent for a large part of the RP. Fair enough I guess, I think the best man won. Well done Cloud, you've proven that your stark raving drivvle can be put to good use! HUZZAH! _________________ I like big cookies and I cannot lie,

*Walks in with a straight jacket on.*
Thank you all very much for this very precious award. Could someone just loosen this jacket a bit, it's really starting to chafe. _________________
