Prologue: After the conclusion of the Corporate Wars, around 15 AB, the land of Blackstar became deeply divided between the Corporations and The Dojo. What resulted was a cold war that caused a technology race between the Psychotopian Warp Teams and the Corporates Mech Tech.

As tensions continued to mount, it was apparent that the land of Blackstar was growing to large for both of them to reside peacefully, and the inhabitants took to the stars, expanding outwards and colonizing new worlds. Eventually even the universe began to become cramped and once again the conflict of the Corporations and Dojo bubbled to the surface.

Just as the two groups are ready to add the final chapter to the Corporate Wars, a new enemy emerges. From beyond the reaches of their galaxy a deeply religious alien alliance comes to destroy all in their path, believing it to be the will of their gods. They are called the Concordat. Their technology is vastly superior to both Corporate and Dojo tech, and they almost double the population of the Corporations and the Dojo combined. It is the Dojo's darkest hour.

--------

21 AB: As a patrol of Psychotopian battle cruisers do a routine pass by the Outer Rim world of Plantation, a single cruiser, not of any they had ever seen before warped in from the far side of the planet. It proceeded to engage the cruiser group, easily defeating a force of 3 to 1, destroying two of them and allowing one to limp away with the following message, pre-translated:

"Your destruction is the will of the Gods... and we are their instrument"

--------

The year is now 28 AB. The Dojo has been fighting a losing war with the Concordat for 7 long years. Slowly the Outer Rim colonies have fallen to the Concordat's superior firepower and numbers. The Dojo won isolated victories, mostly land skirmishes, but, despite the Dojo's brilliant tacticians, the Concordat has dominated space combat. Oddly enough, the Corporations have not been seen in these years of conflict, for better or for worse.

They now close in on the most heavily defended colony other than the Dojo itself, Outstretch. Orbital defense cannons and an anti-glassing shield have saved this fortress world from early attack groups, but a major assault would cause it to crumble. Which is exactly what the Concordat have decided to do.

Hundreds of battle cruisers, fighters, and bombers exit slip space dangerously close to the planet. The ship yards of Outstretch are scrambled, and the last human stronghold prepares it's last stand.

--------

((Here's how it works. Everyone is on the side of the Dojo, except for the Corporate characters. Remember that about one generation has passed, and your characters have aged accordingly. Perhaps they have even retired (Oooooh Matron). Rolling Eyes

The Concordat have vastly greater numbers, and technology than you, but you really have no choice. Fleeing is not an option.))

((I'm sorry, the entire universe gets too crowded? Razz And whilst I'm not entirely sure who is RPing as the Concordat here, I have to wonder how exactly the Evil Council fits into all this. We're not just minions of the Dojo, you know, we've got out own agenda (I think Razz).

But a futuristic RP sounds quite interesting, and I'm curious enough to want to try out the future version of my characters. Some of you probably won't like the changes, but they're my characters so too bad Razz))

"Sir, please, we're requesting any and all assistance that Dojo Allies can provide."

"I will move as the Council instructs me to move, you'd do well to keep in mind that the affairs of the Dojo have not concerned me for a long time. That is all."

"You can't just keep ignoring us like this, we need-"

The moniter cut out as the recipient of the call hung up. He got up from his seat and made his way to his quarters, feeling a strong urge to take a break from this whole mess. Much like a bad hangover it had been going on for far longer than anyone desired and had proved to be a most unpleasant and unavoidable experience for all involved. Not the kind of thing he wanted to get himself into, not at all. As far as he was concerned, outside of the Council, there was almost nobody who'd be able to force him into action.

Even within the Council though, there were very few people who'd really be able to force him to do much at all. Nobody knew exactly when, but the two beings known seperately as 'HollowEyes' and 'Little Sister' had become one several years ago, and since then they hadn't been the same. It wasn't like anybody would've expected them to have remained the same, but it wasn't like they'd expect them to have changed that much either - there weren't any signs of either Parasitians' personality traits, according to them he seemed like an entirely different person.

Indeed, the only reason he said that he had to return to them were the memories, he hadn't felt any kind of loyalty or comeradery towards them upon his 're-birth', though he was aware that they had been as such prior to this. Memories from HollowEyes, memories from Little Sister, both were quite interesting to look at as they conflicted on many important events. Sometimes he could see himself favouring one's opinions of matters over the other, and sometimes he could even picture himself being right there in their place. For that exact same reason there were also several events he deliberately refrained from remembering, some of which still haunted his mind.

He entered his rather small room and made his way over to a chair sitting next to a table with a game that bore a great resemblance to chess resting atop it. Other than the bed and a small side table with several personal things, there wasn't much else to note in his room. His entire ship was standard issue, nothing special despite his years of service to the Council, though given that he didn't expect to see much (if any) action during this war he preferred it like this. He tapped a few buttons on the board and the game began - he'd set it to the lowest amount of turns, but he knew that he'd probably be interrupted by another call before he could even get started.

Sure enough, the moment he picked up a piece to make his first move, the familiar computer alarm for an incoming call rang loud and clear throughout the ship, and he slammed the piece down with considerable annoyance. Breaking from a scuttle into an angry stride as he made his way back into the Comms room he'd been spending most of today in, he answered the call, ready to refuse yet another Dojodian cry for help.

((This is far from a definate future version of HE and LS, I prefer to think of it as a possibility. Try not to think of him as a new character either, as he's a combination of both of them, and as such possesses all of their abilities and powers (as well as appearance, though I'll go more into that with my next post, since I didn't want this one to be too long Razz).

Feel free to be the caller if you want to btw, it'd probably be an easy way to jump into this RP Razz))

((3kul, perhaps we should introduce the Mirror Kumo Team? Scary would be disheartened to go in combat without them.))

Years are mere seconds to a goddess. Paranesia is no exception.

Blackstar had florished since its creation by her ally.

Her battles were seperate.

Over the moments, the mere minutes, she had waged war with Chronos. A private combat, with only her allies, her students, to help her.

She had almost succeeded.

Chronos was unable to stay away for long enough.

She is completed. She is at her full power, her prime.

And yet,

Goddesses do not forgive, nor forget.

Her war still wages.

((For the purposes of this RP, this technically means that Genkaku, Kitfoal, and possibly Ajaxon have teamed up. Weither they appear in this RP is dictated accordingly.))

---

Kaimyr was a happy Kitsuma. Her powers were unsurpassed by any other pyrotechnician. She gained quite the living in her art, her pyrokinetics.

She had been adopted by Paranesia for unknown reasons. Perhaps it was because of her powers. Perhaps it was her uncanny resembalance to the Vixen.

She was always glad to help her mother, and even now she patrolled the entirity of Blackstar, in Paranesia's name, her distinctive scorched wings making her a familiar site to the Dojodians.

---

How long had it been, since he died?

How long has it been, since she was following him?

How long has it been, since her wild goose chase?

Why does she insist on calling him L? It makes him nervous, that someone will find him.

How long has it been, since Kira was killed?

---

Albia would kneel, but instead was forced to just duck her head.

It was a valiant battle.

But they were losing ground. The end was brutal.

She was on the front lines, insane with rage.

She died in vain.

Albia gazed at the crystaline tomb, where the Neko lays forever.

((Yeah, there goes Con.))

---

How long has it been, since we were seperated and reunited?

I'm big now. Taller than Kabuto.

It was like when I was home, at the Sanctuary~

I help Serpells, and he gives me a home.

But now... he won't let me leave the ship. Won't let me out of sight.

He's afraid He will come again. But He won't... will He?

((Haha, I think I've got everyone. Kaimyr is Kitfoal, by the way.))

((Whatever, my character's from he future anyways... but I think I'll mix it up... a little.))

A young girl that looked about to be in her late teens placed a helmet over her long blond hair. She looked to the weapons rack, then patted a console on her wrist instead. The ship rocked as the battle began. She stumbled around the armory then made her way out the door to where a group of pilots were waiting.

Before she could reach them, she stopped short and started looking around at the ground frantically.

"Ghost!" she cried out. The other pilots gave her funny looks until a grayish Grendel came loping out of the armory. She bent down and rubbed it behind the ears.

"Good girl."

Their Sargent briefed them on the situation, then they moved off to their ships.

The hanger was in absolute chaos. Pilots running everywhere, the girl was almost clipped by a fighter as it passed through the environmental shield. Finally she reached her fighter and piled in. The Grendel followed after her, sitting next to her in the gunner position.

"Maybe push vehicle Cassie," it burbled.

"The thought had crossed my mind," she mumbled back without looking up. The HUD beeped and squealed, then started blinking rapidly. The ship rumbled and hovered out onto the launch way. Cassie held it a few seconds, waiting for clearance to go, then blasted off into the heat of the battle.

((Cassie is Goron's great granddaughter, and Ghost is Shadow's granddaughter. How? Clones don't age like normal people. Goron's like in his 90s biologically, if he's still alive.))

((Blackstar's got a small universe, OK? Razz And you know those Psychotopians, they're like Rabbits. And I was not implying that you must fight for the Dojo, simply that you're not with us.

If someone would like to command one of those Dojo capital ships, that would be wonderful.))

An antimatter charge flew from the capital ship towards one of the Orbital defense platforms, obliterating it entirely. The rest of the ships let loose fire in no particular organization, but it didn't especially matter. The sheer numbers of them blasted countless balls of plasma in every direction, wrecking ships sometimes with a single hit.

On board the capital ship, the Divine Wind, the ship's commander watched the action unfold from the bridge. This planet would fall just like every other one before it.

"Oork oork grab bart," he said to one of the control personel.

((I know how to get in here. Rutukia, and Rena are both Natu's children. I have no clue their mother is, but if anyone wants to take the job. it's up for grabs. ))

*One of the space ships called the "Defenders", was one of the few ships that contained some of blackstar's greatest heroes of the past, present, and maybe future. Holding the living, the dead, and the new. Several of the children were kept here from the battles, the control of the ship was Trace.

A few years ago, Trace froze himself in cryogenic sleep, but there was a problem. When doing this, he accidentally spill a potion on him, turning him human. Finding this out, he tried to break free out of the sleep chamber. It didn't work. Deciding that he'll have to be in the chamber and control one of the defending ships, Trace trained his mind in a fake world in his mind. Soon getting better with the new body, Trace opened his sleep chamber and returned control of the ship into the control room.

In another room, two children, Rena and Rutukia. Were relaxing, Rutukia trained his spell magic, while Rena was developing her combat skill until someone came in the room.*

((P.S. Trace is still a fighter, but doesn't carry a lot of tech like he use to. Looking like a normal man in his twenties. Rutukia is a spell caster, what kind is unknown, skin tone is white white with blue hair. Rena is a close combat fighter with two sharp daggers, learned some ninjas skills. Skin tone is a bit tan with black hair.))

A skin of metal, emotionles eyes, no memorys, unable to sleep and eat, and with no mind to call her own.

These are only a few things that describe the adolecence bewulf known as Borgnorn 1973 "Sirus". She had been visiting the universe in which she hatched when she was assimalted.

It was a distress signal that she was sent to investigate that had landed her in this war. She was linked directly into her ship and her chair was modified to act like a regenorator. It was built to fit her every need, and she had named it "land under wave". Her ability as a water bender had been magnified like her sences, and sometimes she wished they hadn't. She could hear every blast, feel every shockwave. It was a living nightmare.

It was the two AI's on board that kept her pretty much sane. Sigurd and Solo chatted with her, played games against her when she was bored and sometimes with one another if they felt like it. Borg tech was advanced, and she had been using the cloak funtion for the last half an hour while Sigurd and Solo played Senet.

"I win."

"No you don't, you still have one piece on the board."

"And? So do you!"

She let the two argue as she watched the battle between the ships. Life for the last few years had been particuly dull.

((So let me get this straight, this is 13 years after Corp Dev1? Or do you mean Corp Dev2?

EDIT: *Looks at Gorons post* 25 years after Corp Dev2... Hmmm...))

In the cosmos, there lurks a white wolf.

Pure in it's form.

Impure in it's heart.

Lykaios, the Trickster, lurks in the cosmos, fighting for and against no-one.

The Wanderer travels freely, borne upon the ever present white glow that surrounds it's physical body.

The Devourer consumes. Every time there is a battle, it feeds upon the leftover energies.

And still it was never satisfied.

((Introduction of Lykaios into a proper RP Wink. Atm I'm not sure who else to use... ))

A blast of plasma flew right by Cassie's ship, colliding with the cruiser she had just escaped from. When the excess plasma cleared, there was a hole in the side of the cruiser. It lingered for a few seconds, then broke into pieces.

With a quick spin Cassie was on the tail of a Concordat ship. Ghost moved a joystick around, then pulled the trigger, letting loose a hail of gunfire and rockets at it.

((Namir is Samura's son. His father is another experiment Norn that escaped the Borg. The father had feathers on his arms that extended long enough to fly and had large birdlike talons, which Namir inherited. He also inherited Samura's ability to spit acid and, unfortunately, her temper.))

"Coordinates set. Autopilot engaged. Destination: Amaki. Planet type: Tropical. Landmass Ratio: 67.4 percent. Temperature of Current Destination: 84 degrees Farenheit. Weather: Fair. Chance of rain: 10 percent." a feminine computerized voice stated.

"Grrrr.... Will this **** computer just SHUT UP?" a gruff voice grumbled.

The aforementioned voice was Namir. He was very irritated with his annoying computer and its usual ramblings every time he engaged autopilot on his private ship. If he had not been covered with dark purple scales, he would be red with anger.

The ship was small for its model, but it was plenty for Namir. He got up from his seat and walked over to the kitchenette. He got out the bread, ham and cheese and fixed himself a sandwich.

"Other ship detected."

Namir ran to the cockpit and told his computer to do a bio-scan. A picture of a Beowulf Norn with metal parts popped up on the screen.

"Computer, begin intercom link."

He was going to tell the pilot of this ship to hightail it out of there, or face Namir.

The top intergalactic mercenary in the galaxy.

Coolpikaaa sat on the beach.A glass of cool juice on one side and a news device on the other. His fur had lightened over time, but he was still fit and active due to a hard fitness routine every morning.
He reached over and flicked the device on letting the robotic voice of the newscaster fill him in on how the war was and other bits like that.

"Dang crazy kids and their need to blow everything up."He said as he turned off the news.

Kazumaru, the Spirit of Electiricity, lay beside the rodent, his face showing his discontent. He'd decided it was in his best intrest to stay out of the war... though he was starting to reconsider this, as the armada came closer to Outstretch.

But what could a mere spirit such as himself do? Every time he asked this question, no one could give him an answer. So he had resigned himself to sitting around in his lab most of the time, with the various genetic experiments he'd created around him.

However, mere days ago, coolpikaaa, Neutrino, and the various clones of the two, had came to him with a proposition- A vacation down by the beaches. Kaz was hesitant at first, not wanting to interfere with the family, but they had convinced him to come along.

So here he lay on the beach, just wondering how everyone has left.

((Nothin' here is set in stone.))

((I will be assuming that Kaz and Coolpikaaa are currently at the Dojo.))

Kaimyr passed over the beach, looking like a vulture who dared come too close to the heavens.

Gazing down, she spotted a being, unfamiliar.

Using the abilities taught by her mother (it had almost become a habit), she quickly found that he was Kazumaru, spirit of Electricity.

Immediately an unexpected wave of negative emotions overcame her, sudden hate and rage at the recognition of the spirit.

And a huge compelling to set him aflame, burn him until he was ashes.

As she lowered altitude, and one looked close, a ring of fire span around her head for the span of a second.

However, at the last second, she managed to regain control of her rage, turning her concentration to a nearby tree.

She made a rather ungraceful (you try landing with both hooves and paws) landing, before turning to the Spirit.

"My apologies, Kazumaru. Will you aid me in ending this blaze?"

((Um, some of this may not make sense to most of you, so just know that my characters have been to other forums and in a lot of private rps lately, okay? Good.))

Scritch. Scritch.

The sound of clawing and scraping grew ever louder at the passing minute. Screeches and whines filled the room, drowing out the squeaking of freshly-oiled servos.

"Damnit, Kiri, could you shut that brat up? He's giving me a headache."

~Supaiku is not a brat! I'll teach you to say that, you defunct old shapeshifter you-~

"Will both of you stop arguing?! I can't finish this tune-up if you won't be quiet!"

Panther muttered as she sat in her seat, simmering with anger. Her right 'arm' was stretched out onto a table, where a middle aged Rai was screwing something into it. The alchemist frowned at the mother dragon on the other side of the room. Kiri snarled right back as she curled her wing around a small bronze dragon about one-fourth her size. The overly spiked dragonling screeched at his mother again for food, obviously not heeding Panther's harsh words.

Kiri snatched Supaiku up in her claws and 'hopped' out of the large, bare room they were in. She placed him on her back and walked swiftly down the corridor, spouting a bit of flame at the rusting Deathrobot that used to guard the Bunker. The thing had worn itself to pieces- literally -not too long ago. The dragon snaked her head out of the Bunker's entrance, searched for any signs of danger, and leapt into the air, taking to skies.

Panther huffed as she sat- repairing automail always took a few hours. In those hours, her legs would usually fall asleep, she'd get bored, ect, ect. But this time, it was worse. She had to sit through Rai's routine barter with what could be called an old comrade of hers. Or two. That depends on how you'd look at the combination of Little Sister and HollowEyes- most would consider them one. Panther hated how she had to be reminded of The Evil Council. It'd been only a year since she quit, since everything had lost it's zeal. Rai would bug her to visit from time to time, to which she would ruefully comply.

Rai's tap-tap-tapping on the keyboard for the ten-foot computer ground on her nerves more than it usually did. Panther seemed to have itchy feet lately and really hated staying in one place for too long. She just wanted to get out of this rat-hole and back outside where she could just... ya know... move. Her shapeshifting was quite difficult now, she could do anything smaller or bigger than her current proportions, as everything would screw up. Panther rubbed her face with her free hand. In addition to all the crap going on now, she'd lost contact with her old allies; Kole she had no chance of finding, Vatican and Ishi got married and went somewhere, Xuxi lived at an old graveyard with someone named Maggot, Argyle's lithium-ion battery wore out, that ninja fox with the mamodo returned to the desert, not to mention all the others who died or disappeared. Everything just seemed to fall apart....

“Rai here. Got that part I need yet?”

((Sorry for the uber-long post, but this is how it ends up. Sad, ain't it? *sigh* 3kul: The part she needs is a grate, a long, steel plate with four straight lines going veritcally. Wink ))
