Will RP for training!

[Danikat]

((I knew there was something I was forgetting to do around here.))

*With a quick sweep of her wings Danikat pulled herself back, narrowly avoiding the scythes that swung towards her. She drew her own sword again and began to circle Rataka, making sure she stayed well out of the range of the scythes*

*The taunting shot from the ship barely missed Veamoth as the dragon wheeled around for another attack. More cautious now he had seen what this thing could do to him he began to come in closer for another assult*

*Rataka was dissapointed as he fell back to the Earth. At least his injuries would be subtle; he had shock absorbers. But he had not turned his opponent into paper shreds, much less injured her. This cat was beggining to become an annoyance.*

*When he finally hit the ground running, Rataka began to circle the ground underneath Danikat. She could not stay up there forever.*

"You have five minutes, before I clip you're wings with my pistol, cat. Lets see how wll you fly with wings of swiss cheese!"

The Merciless was in trouble, the dragon was quick. It began to fire on the dragon in small bursts, aiming for the midriff. It did this for awhile, getting the dragon accustomed to it's pattern, when it suddenly launched a torpedoe.

[Danikat]

((It'd be interesting to see how long Danikat could actually stay up here. But only for me, and it wouldn't exactly help with your training.))

*Danikat heard Rataka's threat and took a few seconds to contemplate her next move. Staying up here would get her no where, but she doubted her opponent would gve her time to land safely. So obviously she'd have to do it fast*

*Leaning forward in the air she folder her wings, putting her into a dive straight toward the ground. When she judged herself to be just out of range of the scythes she leant back and opened her wings again, causing her to glide rapidly across their battlefield before comming in to land. Spinning around she faced her opponent once again*

((Bear in mind I never said she landed safely, feel free to attack her in mid air if you wish.))

*Veamoth twisted and turned in mid-air, dodging the sudden barrage of attacks proved to be a serious test of his reflexes*
Veamoth: This sort of stunt work is what blue's and green's ((types of dragons)) are for. Why can't he just fight directly?
*Unfortunately he got his wish, right in the middle of a pattern of fire the torpedo came flying out and hit the distracted dragon right on his flank*

((What exactly does this torpedo do by the way?))

"So cat, you land. And here I thought you were a coward!"

*Unholstering a pistol, Rataka fired at Danikat, but instead of standing there to fire again, he rushed Danikat after. Flailing his fingers, he whipped Danikat, sending her sprawling on the ground.

The Merciless was succesful in hitting it's target. As the dragon was hit, it launched a steady stream of plasma straight at the face. It then used the same tactics it used on Danikat, flying in high orbit around the target and rapidly firing.

{{These torpedoes destroy things. Oh wait, you said exactly. The torpedoe fired was just explosive, with mild shrapnel.}}

{{Sorry about that. I think I've read too much Redwall and it is infecting my RPability. Brian Jaques usually snds characters sprawling. Even so, Redwall is my fav series.}}

*Unholstering a pistol, Rataka fired at Danikat, but instead of standing there to fire again, he rushed Danikat after. Flailing his fingers, he attempted to whip Danikat. He had it all figured out. He must learn from his mistakes!*

Satisfaction coursing through his circuits, Altair headed back to his master to hellp him. He would be getting extra oil tonight!

[Danikat]

*Danikat ducked the shot and felt it brush past much too close to the tip of one of her wings. She just had time to grimace at the rank smell of burnt hair before she glimsed Rataka's fingers whipping out towards her again.

She just had time to bring her own tail around to block the attack, but the force of it still sent her stumbling backwards*

((And yeah Veamoth won't be comming back so the Merciless is pretty much free to do what it wants. If it gets too annoying I might just have to find something else to throw at it, but for now its free.))

As soon as the Merciless arrived, it began firing at Danikat in the same pattern it had earlier, flying in a circle.

Evere the oppurtunist, the Photophoid took advantage of Danikat's stumble. Using old tactics, he grabbed her in his vines, but this time he grabbed her limbs. One vine for each arm, wing, and leg.

{{Please don't say something like "Overcome by a sudden burst of superstength, Danikat tore the vines from Rataka's hands." But I doubt you will }}

"Merciless, halt. Use the tractor beam to remove her sword from its sheath. We don;t want history to repeat itself!"

Throwing his head back and cackling maniacally, Rataka used his cranial tentacles to shock Danikat. However, to avoid tiring himself out, he did so in small bursts.

"If only you had six vines to mame!"
