I am refering to the Olympics. And I reccommend that we continue them. All that reamained for the start of the second round was for the Corporation vs Blackstar to be judged. And now we have an added bonus.

In round one we had the problem of having great judges, who just didn't have enough time. Half of the entire tournament has been eliminated. Any of the eliminated competitors might be able to take over a judge position should a current judge be able not to continue (The judges would have to be approved by the two remaining teams of course).

And after all, this is the Olympics, we've got four years to finish it. Wink

Ahem, yes, anyways, Olympics mascot Sleepy the Sleeping Dog aside, I second everything that Goron said. The Olympics were awesome, and we certainly got a lot of interest during them. In the future I'd have thought that it'd be a good way to get more people to come to Blackstar, or to find more RP communities that appreciate a similar style of roleplay to our own (that style being relatively freeform).

Then there's also the whole economy apocolypse that I've pointed out in the other thread here in the stands. The economy is going to be majorly f'ed up (the 'f' stands for 'fruit' kids) once everybody wins over a million yen for betting on the Olympics failing to end before 2007. Because I like the sound of my own... posts, allow me to quote myself on this:

Of course it's not me you need to worry about, the only things I buy are commissioned artwork from Embri which is usually for the Dojo (Occassionally I get a discount for this good deed Wink

). It's all those OTHER people that bet on it... yeah... worry about them. Cool
