The trobifant beast was now really annoyed. The little spiney things one of the little creatures had thrown at its "oowey" were really starting to itch. It broke off the growing top of the encircling tree and used it as a scratcher.

When it had done about as much of that as it wanted, it threw the tree top up into its mouth and started to chew. It contuned to break off sections of tree trunk and branches, and threw them in too, it made noises like a tree shredder. When the last trunk section was chewed up, the trobifant beast did a little flex knee bend and swallowed. This was followed up by a noisey blech, which produced more really foul smelling fumes. Enough salad, now it was interested in the main course, ..... MEAT!!!

It startd to advance on the adventurers and the drazilim.

(the wound is starting to bleed a little)

The smell of the Trobifant's belch nearly knocked Kiiu out, due to his sensitive nose. Jumping back, he rested on the ground for a bit, panting hard.

Offa called out to the Trobifant. "Hey, do you mind? Wouldn't you be kind to not be so rude and say 'Excuse me?'"

((Don't worry about short posts. Sometimes you just don't need to say - or do much in one go.))

Whiteoak backed up a little, and shot off another couple of plasma blasts at the bleeding wound on the trobifant beast.

((hey, did you all see that they are re-doing the belt system? and yes, spelling and grammer are going to count. Also for some of the threads to count they need to have a certain number of participants. If you know of any other folks who might want to join this one, they could have been sent down by Sanders to join us, we shouldn't be hard to find."))

((The new belts system has been in progress for a while now. But apparently a lot of people didn't realise that you didn't have to be a mod or admin to read The Meeting House (although you can't post there unless you are).

You can either go there and check out all the details and the dicussion about it, or save yourself some time and read the topic in the Blackstar Information board for the overview of the new system.

To be honest it won't change much, the system is based on the same attitude and approach to RP'ing, its just a little more clearly defined, and you now earn belts based on ability, not post count. Theres also several styles to choose from, so that we aren't restricting everyone to one style in order to advance to new belts.

Edit: Oh, one other thing I forgot to mention: When the new system gets started everyone will be dropping back down to white belts. Except for the sensi's in each style. Then we'll all be working our way up together. So this topic might well see a few new participants.))

The Trobifant beast, advancing menacingly, stopped in its tracks and looked at Offa with a puzzled expression and made a sound something like
" 'Xceuf mne"

Two of the Drazils who had stayed behind, but had been tending to their wounded, shot their disruptor pistols at the wound on the beast. The wound was now flowing blood fairly freely, it turned its gaze at them, and bounded towards them in a short hop that took them by surprise, It grabbed one of them and tossed it up into its mouth.

The Drazil who had gone for the capturing ropes returned with his heavy bundle just in time to see what had just happened.

Sirus was making good time for a child. Her mum had told her that she was going to go and try to find her adopted dad,and that she should try and get some training while she was gone.

So,sirus had spoken to sanders and armed herself with a spear for the journy. She was just about to enter the camp when the trobifant beltched. She covered her nose and climbed up a tree, using the spear as a way to g ofrom one tree to another.

She was grateful that it had a steel head and not a silver one.Silver was too weak to make a decent weapon and it wouldn't stay in one shape if enough force was applied.Steel was a strong metal and was alot harder to break.

At least, that was what she'd been told.

((SFOT you need to make sure you put spaces after fullstops and commas. Also make sure you capitalise the first letter of names, like Sirus and Sanders, even if they aren't at the start of a sentance.))

((Problem: I always forget, and I don't have anything that I can use to check my spelling .I do try, but my nasty little brain decideds to make life a living hell and lets me forget to add spaces between commas / full stops. ))

((Belive me I know spelling and grammar can be hard sometimes. Normally I'd be the last person to correct someone, its just because its now part of the rules for advancement, and this topic is here to help people develop their RP skills.

And besides its an important skill in life and this is probably the most fun way you'll ever find to practice.))

The drazil that had been thrown into the Trobifant's mouth, had grabbed on to the top rim, and had managed to get a hold there and had not fallen down onto the floor of the mouth, but it wouldn't be able to hold on like that much longer. Looking about it saw a new character up in the trees above, and was waving frantically trying to attract their attention in hopes of help.

The trobifant beast once again turned and looked at Offa, with a quizzical look to several of its eyes.....

Sirus glanced downwards and saw a reptile of some sort waving at her in hope of help. She hooked her leg around a branch and tightened her grip on the spear: This wasn't going to be fun at all.

Trieing to not touch the trobifant with it, she lowered the spear towards the reptile and mouthed " Grab it!" to him/ her. She'd been told to try and help them, so she'd help this person out.

The next step after helping them would be to find out how you climbed down a tree.

The Drazilim who were fighting the trobifant beast saw what was going on with their team mate and the new arrival. The best way to help was to distract the beast so it didn't know what was going on. They spread out and took up positions all around the beast so its various eyes would all have someone to look at, and not look up. On cue, they began firing their disruptors at it.

The drazil up in the mouth opening looked up and saw the extended spear. It leaped with all its might and grabed onto it. Pulling itself up into the tree, it spoke aloud a passible approximation of "thank you".

The drazilim now moved back around to the side where the wound was now bleeding heavily, and concentrted their fire on the wound.

The beast turned several of its eyes on Offa and made a sound something like " 'Elp mwe?!

Offa was glad that the beast can talk. Possibly there is a chance that they can create peace. He clapped and applauded, telling yes to the Trobifant when he said "Excuse me." Now the Trobifant was asking for help. Knowing that the orb that healed him is still around, he grabbed it and held it out to the trobifant. "See the circle? It's called a Orb. If you hold it and say 'Yes', you will be instantly healed. But, you have to promise not to attack anyone ever again unless they attack you first."

((To save time, if the Trobifant promises, then Offa will automaticly give him the orb. Just wanted to clarify that.))
