Medal suggestions

Considering I'm no longer control the medal distribution process, I thought I'd go throught "proper" channels to do this.

I have a couple of suggestions for medals:

Veterans of the Forum Wars
Veterans of EC v Gameware
Veterans of Mdude's Creature RP
Veterans of Alien Attack- Norns with Weapons! (You A2K folks thought I'd forget you,huh?)

These medals are awarded to Blackstar residents who have participated (to a satisfactory level) in said RP, and would be avialable upon request if links to specific posts are provided also(enough to satisfy the requirement) proving your involvement.

So, Embri, Whatcha think?

I'm all for it, DP. Though, it'll have to wait until I clear some of my workload, which is getting a bit out of hoof... *drowns in paper*

Hehe... I'm always up for more medals. Actually, I think we need a running poll once a month for a thread nomination for a medal or two.

Nobody from Alien Attack: Norns With Weapons has come here yet. Thought I'd point this out to help Embri save some time.

That reminds me, could the Corperate Development 2 thread be added to the list of nominees for a medal?

What kind of paper are we using so that it doesn't burn up upon contact with Embri? I need to make some of this paper into a suit of armor!

Pppfffft. We all know normal A4 sheets make the best armour around.
Not a grand knight was seen going into battle, without some form of A4 like parchment attached them!
The glorious sword fights, metal scraping against paper! Paper scraping against metal! The paper cuts! The sword wounds! The child who had managd to scribble her "My Family" picture on the sheets!
It was glorious! GLORIOUS IT WAS!

"The Trouble with Trobifants" is up to 12 or 13 pages by now. Thats pretty good for the Training Dojo, and it includes several folks who are sort of newer and could use combat RP medals.

Training threads are not eligible for Medals, because they are not expected to be held to the same standard as regular RP's. We expect that there will be lots of spelling mistakes, discontinuities, occasional powerplaying, and general problems. Why? Because that's what the Training Dojo is for - making mistakes, learning from them, and moving on.

That said, if you get a really great thread going in the Training Dojo, you can ask Danikat if she thinks it's worthy of moving. (She's in charge of overseeing the Training Dojo)

With her agreement, one of the Admins can move your thread out of the Training Dojo and into a different Forum, thereby making it possible to be nominated for a Medal.
