Mantis Belt Bearers

BEHOLD! *firey smoke bombs explode everywhere* To avoid massive clogging in Embri's PM inbox, I shall be posting entrants into the Mantis style in this thread.

From the week beginning Mon 23 Oct 2006 (this is running by my time, mind you), the following RPers have sought and gained my approval:

* TheDarkPsycho - Green - Wed 25th Oct
-> Medal Requirement = EC vs Gameware (a medal doesn't yet exist for it, though imo it should )
-> Duel Requirement = A somewhat brief bout with myself (and Addman) in EC vs Gameware (normally I wouldn't allow two threads for two different criteria, but a thread this big is a bit different)
-> Proof of Non-Powerplaying = DP's loss of immortality and Godly powers in the Tremors Across the Dojo RP
-> Weapon of Choice: Sanity Blade (as we all know )

* Goron40 - Green - Thu 26th Oct
-> Medal Requirement = He's got a few... Let's go with the one for Corporate Development.
-> Duel Requirement = He's fought me a couple of times - in EC vs Gameware, the Olympics, etc.
-> Proof of Non-Powerplaying = Evident enough given his style, I suppose the team tournament in the Olympics isn't a bad example to go by.
-> Weapon of Choice: His Katana, as well as Kunai (ninja throwing knives).

* Shine - Green - Mon 6th Nov
-> Medal Requirement = Has participated in both Corporate Development 1 & 2 with a medal for #2
-> Duel Requirement = He fought with both Holloweyes and Little Sister in the EC vs Gameware thread.
-> Proof of Non-Powerplaying = Whilst I personally feel that some of his abilities are a bit overly powerful, he does seem to be particularily careful about how he uses them.
-> Weapon of Choice = Whiteoak’s staff (both as a weapon, and as to its technological capabilities.)

* Leporidae - Green - Thu 16th Nov
-> Medal Requirement = For participation in the "Oh Behave" RP thread.
-> Duel Requirement = Fought with LS in a training thread made specifically for the purpose of fulfilling this criteria.
-> Proof of Non-Powerplaying = Evident from her actions in the above thread, as well as extensive training with Panther and membership of the Evil Council.
-> Weapon of Choice = Her Sabre and her Staff.

* Swix - Green - Fri 17th Nov
-> Medal Requirement = Corp Dev. 1 & Corp Dev. 2
-> Duel Requirement = Fought with HE in a training spar using Kheesth, also fought Leporidae under similar circumstances.
-> Proof of Non-Powerplaying = Evident from her actions in the above threads, as well as membership of the Evil Council.
-> Weapon of Choice = As Kheesth, her summoning powder (I don't intend to list all of her characters, as there's too many, and not all apply).

* Panther385 - Green - Sun 19th Nov
-> Medal Requirement = Corp Dev. 1 & Corp Dev. 2
-> Duel Requirement = Fought with Leporidae several times in her training thread.
-> Proof of Non-Powerplaying = Evident from her actions in the above threads, as well as membership of the Evil Council.
-> Weapon of Choice = As Rai, her automail left arm, which when combined with alchemic powers doubles up as a versatile weapon (as with Swix though, Panther has a few characters that she RPs in the Mantis style).

* Goron40 - Blue - Wed 6th Dec
-> Thread Requirement = The Birth of the Guardians
-> Unique Weapon = Carbine of Infinite Fears

A new year for the Mantis, the following RPers have sought and gained my approval in 2007:

* Kat_05 - Green - Wed 21st Feb
-> Medal Requirement = Tremors across the Dojo
-> Duel Requirement = Fought with me RPing as Sao'tal and basically tore him apart.
-> Proof of Non-Powerplaying = Evident from her actions in the above threads, as well as membership of the Evil Council.
-> Weapon of Choice = Kat's very flexible with a wide variety of weapons, but it's her energy draining claws and tail that make her such a formidable foe.

* Shine - Blue - Mon 6th May
-> Thread Requirement = The Trouble with Trobifants (I am aware that the first post was made by the drazilim, but it was Shine who originally came up with the RP and maintained it)
-> Unique Weapon = Whiteoak’s staff (both as a weapon, and as to its technological capabilities.)

That is all. *cue smoke machines for a mysteeeeeeerious disappearance*

EDIT: Another Mantis Belt Bearer is born! Goron40 has made the approval list.
EDIT2: More Mantises! More I say! Shine has made the approval list.
EDIT3: A new Mantis enters the arena! Leporidae is now amongst our ranks.
EDIT4: All glory to the Mantis Empire! Swix has been assimilated.
EDIT5: Delayed acceptance (totally my fault ), but better slightly late than never. Panther385 makes the cut.
EDIT6: Goron receives a belt upgrade! This makes him the first Mantis Blue Belt bearer in Dojodian history (and Mantis is now the only style to have a Blue belt ranked member ).
EDIT7: Kat joins the Mantis ranks after kicking my ass.
EDIT8: Shine gets an upgrade! Further proof that the Mantis style is too cool for school.
