Too Many Sections?

Apologises for suggesting even more work for our already over-worked admins but am I the only one who thinks the sheer number of sections here is getting confusing?

For example the Bug Reports and Features section could be merged into the existing Announcements and Bulletin Board sections. Or all 3 could be grouped into a generic Administrative section, with official announcements and such being made erm...announcements, or sticky topics.

The Greetings board could be merged into General Chat.

The Psychotopian City seems a little pointless now, since the new belts system allows people to specify who can join an RP. A topic can just be created in the Wilds with the requirement that you must be a master to post there.

I don't know, maybe I'm the only one who feels this way but it seems to me that the sheer number of sections here is getting extremely confusing and maybe it would be eaiser if things were simplified a bit.

So long as we don't lose any new posts, I'm all for it. I'd keep Psychotopia City, though. It can double as a 'masters-only' discussion area. Plus, there may be things you don't want us mere newbs to look at <.< >.> Razz

I like the selections, albiet they can be confussing, and it took me a good 5 mins. to find this blooming sub-forum, but the huge variety in the specific RP rooms makes searching fun. Very Happy

I agree with Fort, I like having lots of subforums. I counted them the other day - 33, we have.

I understand that some people may not like having so many, so here is a possible idea:

With some modding I could display posts from all the forums in a category when you click on that category. How does that sound?
