I think the war is a good Idea for keeping black star active.

I like this idea.

Although, I have a feeling this lull is people going back to school/college/uni. And as such, people are finding it hard to find the time to post at the moment.

There aren't many regular roleplayers left at the moment. As such, perhaps a few pms here and there could re-ignite their interest. People shouldn't have stopped roleplaying just because of the olympics.

It realistically didn't actually take up that huge a chunk of time. Well, for me personally it didn't.

But people started disappearing around the time of the olympic lull. But the most recent lull is due to school/college/uni.

But I am up for war... Twisted Evil

Can there be a way to keep such a war from involving the other threads on other boards?. Not necessarily any character developments, but I would rather not really divide the dojo more than necessary.

I too have noticed the "lull", good threads are going dormant. Wild west, Labyrinth, Corp Dev. 2, What are Gerbils!?!?, Hot Girls on Dating.

What is this world coming too Wink

I really enjoy this little escapist diversion of RPing, I'd hate to see go any more quiet. I'm not convinced that a war will reinvigorate it but these kinds of threads will at least give us something to do, and they are a type of thread that seem to have a longevity built in, so give it a try. I'll fight.

Suit yourself Shadowveil. I was just looking for a big RP, like Corporate Development 1 was. One that really got lots of people involved. As I'm advertising this to the EC and to us, that will include just about all of Blackstar.

I was thinking it doesn't just have to be war. We could add a little adventure forcing everyone to work together towards a solution or something. There's also other little sub-plots we could have, like random court-cases, food-eating races and other high-class mini-plots Razz

I am really interested in a good RP that would attract the involvement of some of the established characters qt the Dojo, but an eternal war would not be my first choice (although I will probably pafticipate whatever it is).

As Goron has already proposed a war to the EC, something like that could provide a starting point, but GBE's ideas have merit too, could we think up somthing of a plot that sort of blends the two ideas?

). I agree with Shine about blending the two ideas together. In other words, I definitely agree with a big RP and with blending the war and mini-plot (especially the food-eating races Very Happy

) ideas.

I'm really confused by this whole switching genders thing. Did you used to be Raven, or who?

BTW, I'm not buying it, but in time we will forget the old, and the new folks won't know and then you can switch back and thrill everybody.

Or, I could be confusing you with someone else and I COULD BE MAKING A FOOL OUT OF MY SELF, BUT WHAT'S NEW.....
