"At least we don't have to crawl over to the Devil Bear for help because we're so incapable!" roared Taka, then, his anger taking over, he climbed up to the top of the mast, pushing away a musketeer who obviously wanted to tell him something, took his gun (the musketeer's gun, not Taka's) and aimed it at Kiruko's heart,
~You're going down.~ he thought, and fired.

*Angel looks up from ordering the deck clearance to see the siloetts of the Mate and the flyer against the sky*

damn.

*she risks the winds and rises into the air, keeping out of the line of fire. she is buffeted over the edge of the ship but puts nose windward and is soon back in the battle.

she spots an opertunity and dives for the Serpants captain, pistols out. he lands heavily on the deck and fires, almost point blank, at his heart. the twin shots jolt her flight honed body but she stands firm. her shots now both used, she holsters the weapons with a flick and draws her swords, droping into a defensive crouch with her blades crossed*

Emilee began administering basic first-aid to the wounded. Nothing more complex than a bandage though.

Kiruko grinned and 'fell' as soon as Taka cocked his gun. The bullet inveriably missed, soaring into the great beyond. "Hmm, you'll have to try harder to beat me." She commented, all fun leaving her face.

Roaring once again in indignatiot Taka aimed the gun once more and fired again, this time also throwing a small knife.

Kiruko dodged the bullet, but the knife caught her in her right hand. "Good thing I'm left handed..." She snarled. With some resistance, she pulled the crimson-tainted knife out of her hand, letting the blood drip ominously. She snarled and threw it into the sea.

As soon as he heard the shots, Captain Naja, using his reptilian reflexes and senses, parried one of the bullets with his cutlass. It bounced harmlessly off, but the other bullet was more fortunate. It caught him in the left foreleg.

"Augh!"

Hearing this, Reyeka leapt down behind Angel, landing with almost catlike grace. Putting Marnrist back in its scabbard, she pulled her lips back, exposing huge teeth and canines that already stuck four inches below her lip. Her horns turned backward and laid back against her head, and turned a bloody crimson color, showing anger.

She leapt at Angel, aiming to sink her sabre-teeth into her arm.

"Ever hear of a dragon, fellow pirate?" Kiruko said to Taka, her voice dripping with venom. "They are quite interesting creatures... I know one personally.."

*Angel grins a the chocked cry from the captain. a soft thunk alerts her to the enemy behind her and her cutlas snaps back and wide. it spins in her hand so the tip points towards her attacker, she turns on one foot to drive the blade back into Reyekas maw.

her other blade reacts considerably slower and its grip is already slick with Angels faintly glowing blood. she keeps it away from the reptilian enemy to fend of andy less skilled attackers from amongst the crew*

"Ah, surprisingly clever for that tiny brain of yours!" She teased, leaping into the air. The secong bullet grazed her leg, starting to bleed. She pulled out her gun and cocked it, aimed for her opponent's feet, and fired.

Taka dodged, just barely, however in suprise he let go of the mast and started to fall back, just grabbing on to it with his feet. Righting himself he roared and fired three shots at Kiruko,
"Say goodbye, reptile!"

The Devil Bear had turned and was sailing past its enemy ship, just within range.

As they were even, (although moving opposite, and passing) Obed yelled

"FIRE AT WILL" and the entire cannon bank let go with their first round: exploding balls, and de-masting chain-and ball rounds. The black powder gunners also let go with a round of volleys and then began reloading.

"Prepare to take incoming, prepare for repairs, fire crew?- be ready, and keep the ship moving. Look sharp!"

"Stick to the guns,Obed.I've heard about the quality of the weapons the bloody angle has.Make sure none of their crew gets onboard unles taken prisioner."

She threw the trident as obed had shouted,aiming for some fool hanging off the masts ((taka,to be prescise)).Spinning around,she shouted at the crew to reload the cannons with another round of exploding balls.
