((Training thread for Nishette, who's interested in archery :3 ))

Rai stood in the open field, both arms crossed. Two targets were set up approximatley 50 feet in front of her. Each had numerous holes from use of arrows. The alchemist looked around for the third time that minute and shuffled her feet. She'd been asked to meet someone here for archery training; as she had signed that up as her speciality. Well, along with alchemy, of course. Mused she.

Two unstrung bows and a plethora of arrows rested beside her. Her crimson hair flirted with any and all breezes that came by, making Rai wish she'd put it up in a ponytail or something. She searched around in her coat for a hairband, only coming up with a rubberband. She sighed and put her hair up, hoping this would do until she got a proper band.

Emilee walked onto the field, her eyes sweeping the premises from left to right in search of her trainer. Too late had Emi realized that she did not have a clue as to whom she was meeting. Her ears were pricked up in search of any sound.

Rai looked around once more, and spotted the fox-girl. "Hey, are you Emiliee?!" She called out, and waved so one could see her postion. "I'm the one supposed to be training you in archery!" She hoped it was, because standing here was getting quite boring.

Emilee called back to Rai, "Yep. I'll be over in a second!" She ran towards Rai, stopping only a conversational distance from the alchemist. "And you are?" she asked.

"I'm Rairhi, resident alchemist of the Dojo. You wanted to learn archery?" She stepped on the edge of one of the bows, held it down, and lanced a straing on it. It made a small twaang! noise when she plucked it befor ehanding it to Emilee. "Need this? Or do you have your own?"

Emi felt around her back for the familiar weight of her bow. Suprisingly, she found it absent. "I suppose I will need to borrow yours."

Rai nods, and hands her the white and black bow. "It's freshly transmuted, so it may be a little stiff..." She stepped to one side and gestured to the pile of arrows. "Take as many as you need. So, what do you know about archery?"

"Well," Emilee remarked, "I know how to string, nock, shoot, and the technical things like that. However, I'm a little lacking in the accuracy department."

Rai nodded. "I can help with that, for sure." She strung her own bow quite quickly and got ready to shoot. "Now, the trick is aim a little above the targe. If you're right handed, move slightly to the left, and vice versa. I dunno why, but it always seems to work."

The alchemist nodded. "Aye. Just shoot for the center. And take your time, I won't pressure you."

Emilee adjusted her goggles before picking up the bow. She set the arrow against the string and spent a while aiming. Positioning it above and to the left of her target, she let it fly. Glee filled her as the missile landed almost dead center.

"Thank you for your help!"

Rai clapped her hands together and placed them on the ground. A spark of 'electricity'-like light flashed. A target in the shape of a flying bird on a stick rose out of the ground approximately five yards from them, moving backwards and forth like there was no tomorrow.
